Abstract

Conventional liquids and lubricants are widely used in machining processes throughout the world. However, this cutting liquid is the source of many environmental pollution problems. In order to reduce or eliminate the effect produced by cutting fluids, it is necessary to switch to a continuous machining technique such as using small amounts of cutting fluid, liquid nitrogen, vegetable oil or compressed air as a cooling lubrication medium. Cryogenic coolant is found to be more efficient, economical, cost-effective and environmentally friendly when compared to the conventional coolant, especially in mass production. In machining difficult-to-cut materials such as thin walled materials for the aerospace industry, cooling applications are needed. Ni-based superalloy, Inconel is a material for aerospace applications because of its high durability to wear and material that is resistant to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures. This paper presents a review and explanation of thin wall machining using cryogenic cooling systems on inconel or aerospace materials.

Abstract

The Sriwijaya University internet network management unit does not yet have a standard formulation for implementing Bandwidth Management & Bandwidth Allocation. To provide the best service, they apply the Best-Effort Service concept. As a result, it requires a relatively large network capacity and bandwidth provision so that it has an impact on costs. Therefore, it is necessary to know how users use internet bandwidth as the basic principle of Bandwidth Management & Bandwidth Allocation. This study has completed how to determine the behavior of internet users on the campus LAN as a reason to evaluate internet bandwidth usage. With the Process Mining method, process mapping has been carried out for all access to internet usage from all faculties. As a result, the factors that characterize and need to be considered in bandwidth management are obtained. In order of significance are Total Access Length, Average Variance, Number of User Case IDs, Number of Non-Academic Ports, Number of Academic Ports, Number of Access Frequency, Number of Events, and Number of Ports of Service.

Abstract

The essential factor in achieving a good learning process is discipline in the lecture process. Students and lecturers are encouraged to be disciplined and active participants in the lecture process, allowing the Lecturer's principal duty of transforming and disseminating science and technology to become more concentrated. Furthermore, to eliminate overlapping lecture schedules, lecture hours, and lecture venues that do not meet needs, it is easier for stakeholders to monitor and regulate lecturers' and students' lecture attendance so that quick and accurate decision-making can be done. To establish discipline in school utilizing biometric identification technology (fingerprints) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, developing application software to make it easier to manage work schedules is required. The Work Scheduling program is an online application built with the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and fingerprint and RFID identification support devices that are expected to be effective and efficient tools in the process of scheduling lectures and recording lecture attendance of students and lecturers, making it easier to publish lecture schedules.

Abstract

This research focuses on the finite element analysis for the design of reinforcement towers under dynamic load conditions. The reinforcement tower is a crucial part of the retrieval system that supports the system’s optimal function. This study identifies critical areas and plans reinforcement design steps on the construction of the retrieval tower. Stress analysis helps determine reinforcement design steps based on established standards and analytical approaches. The finite element method is used to analyze the design of the retrieval tower. The model is meshed into small triangular parts to find solutions in the form of finite element analysis of reinforcement tower design under dynamic load conditions. The results of finite element computation show normal stress fluctuations and increased displacement over time, indicating material deformation. This analysis is essential for understanding material behavior and designing systems that can effectively withstand dynamic loads.
