Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dan merancang: 1) Prototype simbol Aksara Lontara yang valid 2) teknik penulisan sembilan simbol aksara  Lontara  yaitu ; Ts, Dz, Z, Sh, Dh, Th, Zh, ‘Ain. Gh dan Hamzah, yang telah didesain menjadi rancangan transliterasi aksara Lontara ke Aksara Arab.  Secara metodologis penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), dengan ujicoba lapangan. Dalam operasionalisasi penelitian ini, digunakan prosedur yang diformulasi oleh Borg and Gall. Pengumpulan data telah dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket terhadap mahasiswa Fakultas Seni dan Desain Universitas Negeri Makassar, sebanyak 135 orang. Terdiri dari mahasiswa Prodi Disain Komunikasi Visual sebanyak: 63 orang. Prodi Pendidikan Seni Rupa: 72 orang. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap 3 orang narasumber yang dianggap mengerti dan peduli terhadap pengembangan aksara Lontara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, sebanyak 10 rancangan desain Aksara Lontara yang masing-masing memiliki  5 alternatif pilihan jawaban  responden melalui angket oneline, hasilnya  sebagai berikut: untuk huruf Tsaa’ diraih No. I, 2 (48.1%), huruf Dzal diraih No. II, 1 (41.5%), untuk huruf Zaai diraih No. III, 1 (54.1%), huruf Shaad diraih No. VI, 3 (32.6%), untuk huruf Daad diraih No. V, 3 (35.6%), huruf Thaa diraih No. VI, 2 (28.9%), untuk huruf Zhaa diraih No. VII, 2 (28.1%), huruf ‘Ain diraih No. VIII, 1 (37 %), untuk huruf Ghain diraih No. IX, 1 (31.1%), huruf Hamzah diraih No. X, 2-1 (39.3%).Kata Kunci: Aksara Lontara, Transliterasi, Aksara Arab

Abstract

Abstrak. Video Tutorial Fotografi adalah cara penyampaian materi pembelajaran melalui kekuatan sajian audio visual yang memperlihatkan langkah-langkah proses berkarya fotografi. Kelebihan video tutorial karena dapat diputar berulang kali untuk membantu pemahaman materi. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada karya Video Tutorial Fotografi Karya Visual Movie Studio ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Metode penelitian kualitatif adalah penelitian yang digunakan untuk menyelidiki, menemukan, menggambarkan, dan menjelaskan kualitas atau keistimewaan dari pengaruh sosial yang tidak dapat dijelaskan, diukur atau digambarkan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif.  Penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat deskriptif dan menggunakan analisis. Proses dan makna (perspektif subjek) lebih ditonjolkan dalam penelitian kualitatif. Landasan teori menggunakan berbagai referensi terkait cara memahami film dari sudut pandang materi, teknik pengambilan gambar, pencahayaan, sinematografi, dimensi kamera terhadap objek, editing, dan elemen-elemen suara. Untuk memecahkan masalah tentang bagaimana dapat mengetahui substansi materi fotografi dan gaya penyajian video tutorial karya Vimos, maka secara rinci dapat dilakukan analisa mendalam terkait karya video tutorial Visual Movie Studio ini dilakukan dengan memperhatikan unsur naratif dan unsur sinematik. Selain itu landasan teori ini juga bermanfaat untuk memberikan gambaran umum tentang rumusan masalah penelitian dan sebagai bahan instrumen pembahasan hasil penelitian. Kata kunci: video tutorial fotografi, unsur naratif, unsur sinematik.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to study and design: 1) A valid prototype of Lontara script symbols 2) techniques for writing seven Lontara script symbols, namely; Dj=J, J=Y, TJ=C, Oe=U, Nj=Ny, Sj= Sy, Ch= Kh, which has been designed as a Lontara script for transliteration of Van Ophuisjen spelling (Indonesian old spelling). Methodologically, this research was carried out through research and development procedures, with field trials. In operationalizing this research, the procedure formulated by Borg and Gall was used. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to a number of students from the Faculty of Art and Design, Universitas Negeri Makassar. And who have filled out the research questionnaire as many as 59 students.. The results showed that, as many as 7 designs of the Lontara script, each of which had 5 alternative choices for respondents' answers through the oneline questionnaire, the results were as follows: for  Dj achieved No. 1b (42.4%), the letter Tj won No. 2e (28.8%), for  J won No. 3b (33.9%), Nj won No. 4a (33.9%), for the Sj won No. 5a (35.6%), the letter Ch won No. 6a (30.5%), for the Oe diacritic won No. 7a (42.4%). Based on the results of the interviews, the informants wanted the Lontara script to be developed for the sake of preserving the cultural heritage of our ancestors as local wisdom in written form.  Keywords: Lontara Script, Transliteration, Van Ophuisjen spelling

Abstract

Abstract. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of providing an explanation of the phenomena that occur in the present, as well as to describe systematically, factually, and accurately about the facts or properties and the relationship between the phenomena studied (Moleong, 2006). The phenomenon that occurs today is that the younger generation in South Sulawesi and especially in Makassar City is able to read barzanji even more so when reading it in the form of lontara bugis script or better known as barzanji bugis. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. The results of primary and secondary data collection in this qualitative study were then analyzed and processed into video content material. The data collection was carried out accompanied by the taking of recordings in the form of audio-visual which later became a documentary video. From the results of video showings given to teenagers aged 18-25 years as many as 62 people, the appreciation obtained included: A total of 82.3% stated that the video duration of 16 minutes 13 seconds was deemed appropriate to present information on the Barzanji Bugis documentary video. The material content presented in the video includes: 1). Barzanji learning for young children in Islamic boarding schools. 2). An introduction to the definition and history of barzanji. 3). Barzanji bugis as a form of preservation of local wisdom of South Sulawesi. 4). The profile of the barzanji bugis activist, Ust. Moh. Khumaidi Ali, SQ., M.Th.I. 5). Barzanji Bugis reading video presentation. Ustadz Khumaidi's performance received a positive appreciation, as many as 54.8% of respondents stated that they were interested in learning barzanji bugis.Keywords: barzanji bugis, youtube, documentary video
