Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of picture and picture learning models in writing essays of class IX students of Medan Ulumul Qur'an Public Private Class IX. The method used in this study is an experimental method that is the post-test only design group method. The instrument used to capture the assignment data is writing an argumentation essay. From the data processing results obtained the average experimental class was 78.09, while the average control class was 71.66. Thus the value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. After testing the hypothesis obtained = 23.81 at a significant level a = 5% from the distribution list t dk 40, then obtained = 2.021. If the price is compared with the apparent price> (23.81> 2.021), it can be stated that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis(Ha) is accepted. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of picture and picture learning models in writing argumentation essays is more effective than expository learning methods. Keywords: picture and picture learning model, writing, argument essay

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan kelayakan media pembelajaran Wordwall dalam teks cerpen siswa kelas XI MAS Proyek Univa Medan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, XI IIS, DAN XI IIA dengan jumlah siswa 100 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IIS yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Sumber data pada penelitian ini berupa kuesioner. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket untuk mencari data mengenai pembelajaran materi cerpen berbasis website pada media Wordwall. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) oleh Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu, pengumpulan informasi, pengembangan produk, uji validasi, revisi produk, uji coba produk. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran Wordwall dalam teks cerpen kelas XI MAS Proyek Univa Medan mendapatkan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian ahli materi I mendapatkan kriteria nilai “Layak” dengan presentase (80%) dan ahli materi II mendapatkan nilai “Sangat Layak” dengan presentase ( 86%), hasil penelitian ahli media I mendapatkan nilai kriteria  “Sangat Layak” dengan presentase (94%), dan ahli media II mendapatkan nilai kriteria “Sangat Layak” dengan presentase (93%), hasil penilaian guru mendapatkan nilai kriteria “Sangat Layak” dengan presentase (91%). Uji pelaksanaan lapangan dengan 31 siswa kelas XI MAS Proyek Univa Medan mendapatkan nilai kriteria nilai “Sangat Layak” dengan presentase (90%). Tahap hasil keefektifan media pembelajaran Wordwall dalam teks cerpen dilakukan dengan cara tes evaluasi pada lembar soal untuk dapat mengukur keefektifan media pembelajaran Wordwall dalam teks cerpen. Hasil dari evaluasi  memperoleh kriteria nilai “Sangat Efektif” dengan presentase (90%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of feasibility and effectiveness of video learning media products on the Indonesian material "Text of the Observation Report". This research uses a 4D development method by Thiagarajan which consists of four stages, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. The instrument in this study used questionnaires addressed to material expert validators and learning media experts, Indonesian teachers and a number of 23 grade X MIA1 MAS students of the Univa Medan Project to determine the analysis of student needs on learning media. The data analysis technique used in calculating the percentage of indicators to determine the feasibility of learning media is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of video learning media feasibility validation based on validation research by material I were obtained 88% got the value criteria "Very Feasible", the results of the material II validation assessment were obtained 85% got the value criteria  "Very Feasible" Field implementation test with 23 students of grade X MIA1 MAS Univa Medan Project obtained 88% getting the value criteria "Very Feasible.The stage of the results of the effectiveness of teaching materials for lecture texts assisted by theme card media was carried out by means of evaluation tests on question sheets to be able to measure the effectiveness of learning media. The results of the evaluation obtained the criteria of "Very Effective" value with a percentage (93%).
