Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of implementing differentiated learning and how it is implemented in class VII mathematics subjects at SMP Negeri 8 Medan. This type of research is qualitative research with student informants and subject teachers who have become Driving Teachers. The results of the research show that the implementation of differentiated learning has an impact on changes in students' behavior in learning, as can be seen from the results of observations that students are more active in learning activities and creative in carrying out tasks so that students' learning outcomes match the learning objectives. Meanwhile, the implementation of differentiated learning by teachers can respond to learning needs by paying attention to the preparation, implementation and assessment of differentiated learning. This research illustrates that the implementation of differentiated learning has an impact on good changes in student behavior and learning outcomes and the implementation of learning must be in accordance with the steps of differentiated learning.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VIII-2 di SMP Negeri 8 Medan pada materi bilangan berpangkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas VIII-2 di SMP Negeri 8 Medan, sementara objek penelitian adalah peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran PBL pada materi perpangkatan tahun ajaran 2024/2025.Berdasarkan analisis data, rata-rata nilai tes awal siswa adalah 30,83 dengan hanya 3 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan, sedangkan 27 siswa belum mencapai ketuntasan. Setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran PBL pada siklus I, terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah menjadi 74,83 dengan 21 siswa mencapai ketuntasan, sementara 9 siswa belum tuntas. Pada siklus II, terdapat peningkatan lebih lanjut dengan nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa menjadi 86,83, dengan 27 siswa mencapai ketuntasan dan 3 siswa belum tuntas. Ketuntasan siswa pada siklus II masuk dalam kategori baik, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran telah berhasil, dengan lebih dari 85% siswa mencapai ketuntasan dalam memecahkan masalah. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.

Abstract

Cette étude vise à décrire le niveau de politesse linguistique dans les commentaires accompagnant les publications de bandes dessinées sur le compte Instagram @Jokowi. La méthode de recherche utilisée est qualitative, avec une approche d'analyse de contenu, car l'objet de cette étude est constitué de documents écrits. Les données ont été recueillies à partir de plusieurs commentaires sur le compte Instagram @jokowi, en particulier ceux accompagnant les publications de bandes dessinées sur Instagram. Trois publications de caricatures ont été sélectionnées comme données, à savoir celles publiées le 16 octobre 2023 sur la Journée mondiale de l'alimentation, le 28 octobre 2023 sur la Journée du serment des jeunes et le 10 novembre 2023 sur la Journée des héros. Ces publications de caricatures ont généré des milliers de commentaires, mais les chercheurs ont limité les données aux commentaires grossiers et irrespectueux. Les résultats de l'étude ont révélé que les fonctions de violation de la politesse linguistique présentes dans les commentaires sont les suivantes : exprimer et ironiser, qui se manifestent sous forme d'actes de langage assertifs ; conseiller, interdire et questionner, qui se manifestent sous forme d'actes de langage directifs ; et d'autres fonctions de violation, notamment les fonctions expressives qui comprennent critiquer, blâmer, insulter, se moquer, condamner, mépriser et espérer.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a mini dictionary of explanatory text terms as a learning reference material in learning Indonesian language for students of class XI SMAS Bina Saudara Medan. The population of this study were students of class XI IPA and XI IPS totally 55 students. The sample was students of class XI IPA totally 30 students. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and questionnaires. This study used Research and Development (R&D) using the Borg and Gall learning model with 10 stages, namely research and data collection, planning, developing initial products, field trials, product revisions, field testers, and final product revisions. The results of this study indicated that the mini dictionary of terms in class XI IPA SMAS Bina Bersuara Medan that gets a feasible category with a percentage as 84.53%. Based on the results of the assessment of material experts I, the criteria for "Feasible" or 77% and material experts II obtained "Feasible" or 83%, the results of the research of design experts I obtained "Feasible" or 80% and design experts II obtained "Very Feasible"or 89%, the results of the teacher's assessment obtained "Feasible" or 80%. Field implementation tests with 30 students of class XI IPA SMAS Bina Saudara Medan obtained "Feasible" or 84.53%. Based on the results of the trial conducted on 30 students, it can be seen that there is an increase in the learning process by using this learning media that can be categorized as very effective to be used in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of feasibility and effectiveness of video learning media products on the Indonesian material "Text of the Observation Report". This research uses a 4D development method by Thiagarajan which consists of four stages, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. The instrument in this study used questionnaires addressed to material expert validators and learning media experts, Indonesian teachers and a number of 23 grade X MIA1 MAS students of the Univa Medan Project to determine the analysis of student needs on learning media. The data analysis technique used in calculating the percentage of indicators to determine the feasibility of learning media is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of video learning media feasibility validation based on validation research by material I were obtained 88% got the value criteria "Very Feasible", the results of the material II validation assessment were obtained 85% got the value criteria  "Very Feasible" Field implementation test with 23 students of grade X MIA1 MAS Univa Medan Project obtained 88% getting the value criteria "Very Feasible.The stage of the results of the effectiveness of teaching materials for lecture texts assisted by theme card media was carried out by means of evaluation tests on question sheets to be able to measure the effectiveness of learning media. The results of the evaluation obtained the criteria of "Very Effective" value with a percentage (93%).

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of audio-visual media in improving the writing skills of anecdotal texts of class X students of SMA N 2 Lubuk Pakam. The population of students is 394 students and the sample taken is 36 students, namely class X-F. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model and method adapted and developed by Reiser and Mollenda in the 1990s, namely, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this study indicate that audio-visual media in improving the writing skills of anecdotal texts of class X students of SMA N 2 Lubuk Pakam are classified as very feasible. The assessment of the level of validity of audio-visual media by material expert I obtained an average of 92.67% with the qualification "very valid", by material expert II obtained an average of 80.67% with the qualification "valid". Then the validity assessment by design expert I was 80% with the qualification "valid" by design expert II 86% with the qualification "very valid". Then a trial was conducted on teachers and students, the Indonesian language teacher obtained an overall average score of 98% with the qualification "very worthy" and students also gave a positive and good response by showing an average score of 91% with the qualification "very worthy". Based on this assessment, it can be concluded that audio-visual media in improving the writing skills of anecdotal texts of class X students of SMA N 2 Lubuk Pakam is valid and worthy of use in learning.
