Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang faktor-faktor apasaja yang dapat mempengaruhi seseorang dalam niat menggunakan terus menerus robo advisor di Indonesia. Fokus penelitian tentang bagaimana pengguna menggunakan secara terus menerus robo advisor sebagai media investasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori expectation confirmation model untuk mengetahui bagaimana niat menggunakan terus menerus pada robo advisor di Indonesia. Peneliti menambahkan variabel pengetahuan keuangan sebagai keterbaruan pada penelitian ini. Variabel lainnya seperti kegunaan yang dirasakan, kepuasan, dan konfirmasi diharapkan mampu berpengaruh terhadap niat menggunakan terus menerus robo advisor di Indonesia. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan metode survei terhadapa 100 pengguna robo advisor dari 6 aplikasi investasi di Indonesia yaitu Bareksa, Bibit, Reliance, Stockbit dan Halofina. Perhitungan menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunujukan bahwa, variabel pengetahuan keuangan, kegunaan yang dirasakan, konfirmasi dan kepuasan berpengaruh positif terhadap niat menggunakan terus menerus robo advisor sebagai media investasi di Indonesia. Keterbatasan yang dimiliki pada penelitian ini adalah data pengguna tidak secara langsung didapatkan darii perusahaan penyedia robo advisor di Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose – This study examines the influence of perceived risk, perceived benefits, and perceived ease of use by customers that affect the use of paylater in e-commerce applications in IndonesiaDesign/methodology/approach – The data collection method used is an online survey method with a snowball sampling technique which is included in non-probability sampling by distributing questionnaires to 100 paylater user respondents who have used paylater at least once. The adopted model uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with a multivariate analysis method using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with modifications to add perceived risk to it.Findings – This study found that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use positively affect paylater usage; perceived ease of use has a positive effect on perceived usefulness; perceived risk negatively affects perceived usefulness; and perceived risk has a negative effect on paylater usage. The results of this study concluded that all hypotheses were supported.Originality/value – This research contributes, namely additional information to companies developing electronic payments (paylater) in considering user views of the paylater payment method in e-commerce applications in making future improvements.Research limitations/implications – This research has limitations, namely that it does not take into account the value or size of transactions and the socio-economic status of users in the research model. It is possible that these factors influenced or changed the results of this study. The greater transaction value can encourage users to use paylater. In addition, paylater is likely to attract more interest from users from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Future research is expected to examine aspects of transaction value and user socio-economic status when using paylater.

Abstract

The relationship between information technology (IT) investment and non-financial measures of organizations has been studied mostlyin the developed countries. These studies are mostly conducted in the context of banking, securities and manufacture sectors. Therefore, a study that examine the impact of IT investments in the context of developing countries and other sectors,such as higher educationwill be worth studied. The current study is empirically examined the relationship between IT investment and organizational efficiency in public sector. Eighteen Faculties within Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) which is one of the autonomous state owned universities in Indonesia have been used as sampel. Data were obtained from year 2013 to 2015. Data were analyzed using panel data regression. The result shows that IT investment positively affects efficiency in the entity.

Abstract

Previous studies show that Perceived Effectiveness of Escrow Service (PEES) affects the relationship. In e-commerce, trust can be seen as a trust in the community of sellers and trust in intermediaries. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of PEES to moderate relationship between trust in intermediaries and repurchase intentions, and between trust in the community of sellers and repurchase intention. This research was administered to 138 respondents through online survey. The findings indicate that PEES moderates not only the relationship of trust in intermediaries and repurchase intentions, but also the relationship between trust in the community of sellers and repurchase intentions. Keywords: trust to community of seller; trust to intermediary; perceived effectiveness of escrow services; repurchase intentions; e-commerce ---------------------------------- Penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa Perceived Effectiveness of Escrow Service (PEES) mempengaruhi hubungan kepercayaan kepada komunitas penjual dan intensi pembelian kembali. Dalam konteks e-commerce, kepercayaan dapat dipandang sebagai kepercayaan kepada komunitas penjual dan kepercayaan kepada perantara. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti peran moderasi PEES terhadap hubungan antara kepercayaan kepada perantara dan intensi pembelian kembali, serta kepercayaankepada komunitas penjual dan intensi pembelian kembali. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 138 responden melalui survei daring. Temuan dari hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa PEES memoderasi hubungan antara kepercayaan kepada perantara dan intensi pembelian kembali, serta kepercayaan kepada komunitas penjual dan intensi pembelian kembali.
