Abstract

Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) adalah sistem telekomunikasi berbasis circuit-switched. Padaawalnya PSTN hanya menyediakan layanan voice. PSTN sekarang telah berkembang ke arah pelayanankomunikasi data yang didorong oleh berkembangnya dunia internet dengan Internet Protokol (IP)-nya. Telahmuncul teknologi Voice over IP (VoIP) yang mampu melewatkan trafik voice pada jaringan data denganmengubah voice menjadi paket. VoIP telah mendorong trend/kecenderungan terjadinya konvergensi antaraPSTN dengan Public Switched Data Network (PSDN) menjadi satu jaringan masa depan yang berbasis packetswitchedyang disebut Next Generation Network (NGN).Softswitch telah muncul sebagai sebuah teknologi yang mampu menghubungkan PSTN denganPSDN. Softswitch dirancang untuk dapat memberikan layanan VoIP, data, dan multimedia. Softswitchdengan protokol yang dimilikinya dapat memberikan seluruh fungsi layanan PSTN, baik secara trunkmaupun lokal. Arsitektur softswitch terdiri atas 4 layer, yaitu: Application Layer, Control Layer, TransportLayer, dan Access Layer. Hal ini mengacu pada arsitektur NGN.PT. Telkom Divre IV Semarang melakukan migrasi terhadap jaringan PSTN-nya pada level trunk(class 4) dengan mengintegrasikan Trunk Gateway Softswitch yang berbasis packet-switched sebagaipengganti sentral trunk SM1T yang masih berbasis circuit-switched. Pekerjaan integrasi ini dilakukandengan memigrasikan trafik dari sentral local exchange yang semula dibebankan terhadap sentral trunkSM1T yang berbijak pada Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) backbone ke Trunk Gateway Softswitch (SM2T)yang berpijak pada IP backbone.Kata kunci : PSTN, Softswitch, NGN , Trunk Gateway, Integrasi, Migrasi, Paket.

Abstract

Abstract. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and education are inseparable in this digital era. The basic principle use of ICT is to simplify human life. However, in some places there are still several problems in adopting the ICT. The problems in adopting ICT are human resources, Technical and Finance. Unprepared users will reduce system efficiency that ICT cannot be implemented and utilized optimallyin the operation. The purposes of this research are to measure the level of readiness of prospective technology users in adopting the Management Information Systems (MIS) of Student Entrepreneurial Program and Intership (SEIP) using Technology Readiness Index (TRI) methods and to find a solution so that the adoption of SIM SEIP can be successfully implemented as good result. The results show that two dimensions of optimism and innovation can significantly affect against TR variables. While the other dimensions such as inconvenience and insecurity do not affect significantly against TR variables.Keywords: Information and Communication Technology, Technology Readiness Index, Management Information Systems Abstrak. Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dan dunia pendidikan tidak dapat dipisahkan pada era digital seperti saat ini. Prinsip dasar dari penggunaan TIK adalah mempermudah kehidupan manusia. Namun dibeberapa tempat masih sering ditemui beberapa kendala dalam pengadopsian TIK. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam adopsi TIK antara lain adalah sumber daya manusia, teknis dan keuangan. Ketidaksiapan pengguna sedikit banyak akan mengurangi efisiensi sistem sehingga belum bisa diimplementasikan dan dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur tingkat kesiapan calon pengguna teknologi dalam adopsi Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) Student Enterpreneur and Intership Program (SEIP) menggunakan metode Technology Readiness Index (TRI) dan menemukan solusi agar adopsi SIM SEIP dapat berhasil dan bisa diimplementasikan dengan baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua dimensi yaitu optimism dan innovativeness berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel TR. Sedangkan dua dimensi lain yaitu discomfort dan insecurity tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel TR. Abstract

Sistem pembelajaran secara elektronik (e-learning) pada lembaga pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) pemerintah dibangun untuk memudahkan pegawainya dalam belajar secara on line melalui komputer di unit kerja masing- masing. Melalui sistem informasi e-learning pengguna dapat mengunduh materi diklat, mengambil dan mengumpulkan tugas-tugas, mengerjakan soal-soal ujian, melihat nilai tugas dan ujian, melihat peringkat diklat berdasarkan nilai yang diperoleh saat pelaksanaan diklat dan ikut serta dalam komunitas diskusi. Penggunaan sistem informasi e-learning di lingkup pemerintah memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dengan lingkup perguruan tinggi. Hal ini berkaitan dengan karakteristik organisasi, proses bisnis organisasi, budaya organisasi dan karakteristik pelaku organisasi yang berbeda antara lingkup pemerintah dan lingkup perguruan tinggi. Perbedaan tersebut membutuhkan model evaluasi yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik lembaga diklat pemerintah, sehingga dapat menggambarkan kesuksesan dan penerimaan pengguna terhadap sistem informasi e-learning. Untuk menentukan model evaluasi yang tepat dan sesuai dengan karakteristik lembaga diklat pemerintah, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian terkait model evaluasi sistem informasi. Penelitian ini mengusulkan model evaluasi integrasi dari model penerimaan UTAUT, model kesuksesan sistem informasi DeLone dan McLean dan model kesesuaian manusia-organisasi-teknologi HOT Fit dengan modifikasi yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik lembaga diklat pemerintah dan dapat menggambarkan kesuksesan dan penerimaan sistem informasi e-learning-nya.

Abstract

Abstract — Ekstraksi ciri merupakan bagian yang sangatpenting dalam menggali ciri suatu citra digital x-ray parudiagnosis tuberkulosis. Untuk membedakan citra digital x-rayparu diagnosis tuberkulosis (normal dan abnormal) diperlukanpencarian ciri citra menggunakan metode ekstraksi ciri. Olehkarena itu, pada paper ini diterapkan sebuah metode ekstraksiciri pada citra digital x-ray paru diagnosis tuberkulosismenggunakan pendekatan statistis, yaitu dengan menghitungnilai mean, variance, entropi, skewness, dan kurtosis. Data citrayang digunakan sebanyak 78 data dengan 19 citra normal dan 59citra abnormal. Diperoleh rentang nilai ciri citra digital x-rayparu diagnosis tuberkulosis normal yaitu mean : 127.429 -127.630, variance : 2.026 - 2.204, entropi : 0.799 - 0.811, skewness: 1.239 - 1.506, dan kurtosis : 2.654 - 3.747. sedangkan citra x-rayparu diagnosis tuberkulosis abnormal yaitu mean : 127.150 -127.726, variance : 2.025 - 2.354, entropi : 0.779 - 0.811, skewness: 1.232 - 2.010, dan kurtosis : 2.616 - 4.104. Hasil yang diperolehmenunjukkan nilai mean citra digital x-ray paru diagnosistuberkulosis normal lebih besar dibanding citra digital x-rayparu diagnosis tuberkulosis abnormal. Kisaran nilai kurtosissebagian besar berada pada distribusi leptokurtic dengan nilai >3.Keywords — ekstraksi ciri, citra digital x-ray paru, statistis,mean, variance, entropi, skewness, kurtosis

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is a well-known technology globally, which helps to connect things such as sensors, vehicles, hospital-instruments, industries, and consumer-goods through the internet. Compact smart devices constitute an essential part of IoT. They range widely in use, size, computing resources, and memory. However, integrating these intelligent things into the internet introduces several security challenges, because most internet technologies and communication protocols were not designed specifically to support IoT. Moreover, IoT's commercialization has led to public security concerns, including personal privacy issues, threats of cyberattacks, and organized crime. This review aims to provide a comprehensive list of IoT vulnerabilities and counter-measures against them. To achieve this goal, we first describe three widely-known IoT reference models and define security in the context of IoT. Second, we discuss the potential motivations of the attackers who target this technology. Third, we discuss different attacks and threats. Fourth, we describe possible countermeasures against these attacks. Finally, we describe emerging security challenges in IoT system.

Abstract

Nowadays, almost everyone has an account on the internet, but some of them often use simple and guessable password, since a complex password is difficult to memorize. Surely, it will compromise the account security and system themselves. Therefore, an integrated login system without typing and remembering password is needed. This paper describes the development of an integrated login system that can perform authentication on a device without typing and remembering password by developing a WordPress plugin and a smartphone application. The development of the system has successfully shown the QR Code on the WordPress login page and automatically redirect the user to the admin page when the login process is done through scanning the QR code by using smartphone. Password only needs to be typed in the first login, and users do not have to retype it for the next login process. Android application development has resulted a password manager application that helps the users to manage the password and to have a secure password storage. Login integration without typing a password can improve account security and reduce the risk of man-in-the-middle and key-logger attack.

Abstract

This research aims to determine what institutional aspects that can influence the organization to implement electronic services. This research used qualitative-interpretive research method with single case study research strategy. The findings of this research were: (1) the type of institutional pressures (normative / mimetic / coercive) that surround the organization and the business impact of these pressures determines the response / action of organization isomorphism; (2) the organization uses its institutional logic to perform isomorphism and the result was the decision to develop an electronic service as one of the steps to face existing institutional pressures. This research also proposed a framework which are expected to be used by an organization to identify the institutional aspects related to the implementation of electronic services as a mechanism to respond to these pressures by appropriate isomorphism action.

Abstract

Outbreaks or extraordinary events often become an issue that occurs in Indonesia. Therefore, an outbreak investigation information system is required to collect, manage and analyze data quickly and accurately. On the other hand, challenges in data accessing processes in certain locations are still constrained by a slow internet connection. This paper conducted speed increase of a page load or site speed time from disease outbreaks investigation information system website.Page load time speed testing was carried out using Google Chrome Developer Tools and using simulation speeds of 2.5 Mbps. Testing time was carried out by dividing the time into three sections, morning hours, working hours and night hours. Implementation of page load time increase includes reducing HTTP requests, utilizing GZIP compression, performing code minification, setting browser chache, using CDN, and using other enhancement techniques.The results showed that after implementing an increase in page load time by turning off cache and using cache, there was an increase in site speed. When the browser cache was turned off, an average page load time increased of 54.79% from the previous time. Whereas when using the browser cache, page load time speed increased by 55.28% from the previous time.

Abstract

Abstract— Prof. Soeparwi Veterinary Hospital is one of veterinary medical service providers in Yogyakarta ad Central Java areas in which the transaction and the documentation managing process is still done manually. Therefore, Prof. Soeparwi VH needs a management information system that facilitate them in managing process and documentation of transactions, one of which is through billing or billing subsystem. This subsystem was designed using UML and was developed in a form of web-based prototype using PHP and HTML languages as well as CSS with CodeIgniter framework and MySQL for database.  The development of this billing subsystem applied a Rapid Application Development (RAD) model process that focused on the working model and obtained feedback from users to improve the system. Results of this system's development were evaluated with a system feasibility test and functionality test. A system feasibility test was administered by distributing Likert scale questionnaire and analysed them based on a summated rating scale method which showed a result of 85.4%. That result indicates that users strongly agree that the system has met their needs.  The system functionality was tested using a black box method and the result was that the system properly functioned. This billing subsystem could process transaction bills automatically included in the calculation. This system produced bills and reports that could be printed and exported. In addition, data was stored in a database so that it supported paperless documentation.
