Abstract

This research aims to analyse in depth the implementation of occupational safety systems aboard the KM Kelud, as well as to provide concrete solutions through community service that focuses on training and raising awareness of the importance of occupational safety. The methods employed in this study are diverse and include in-depth interviews with the ship's crew, meticulous direct observation, and the provision of structured and comprehensive safety training. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, incorporating interviews and socialisation on board  with  both  passengers  and  crew  members. The results of this study clearly indicate that regular training and increased awareness among the crew have a significant impact on reducing workplace accidents on the ship, improving existing safety facilities, conducting regular evaluations of the implemented systems, and ensuring mandatory routine training for all crew members. There is no room for compromise when it comes to safety; every step must be taken to ensure that occupational safety remains a top priority.ABSTRAPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan yang jelas yaitu menganalisis secara mendalam implementasi sistem keselamatan kerja di atas KM Kelud, serta memberikan solusi konkret melalui pengabdian masyarakat yang berfokus pada pelatihan dan peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya keselamatan kerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sangat beragam dan mencakup wawancara mendalam dengan kru kapal, pengamatan langsung yang cermat, serta pemberian pelatihan keselamatan yang terstruktur dan komprehensif. Dimana penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan wawancara dan sosialisasi diatas kapal terhadap penumpang dan awak kapal. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan dengan jelas bahwa pelatihan berkala dan peningkatan kesadaran di antara kru memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam menurunkan angka kecelakaan kerja di kapal, peningkatan fasilitas keselamatan yang ada, evaluasi berkala terhadap sistem yang diterapkan, dan pelatihan rutin yang wajib bagi seluruh kru kapal. Tidak ada ruang untuk kompromi dalam hal keselamatan; setiap langkah harus diambil untuk memastikan bahwa keselamatan kerja menjadi prioritas utama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen wakaf produktif sebagai strategi kemandirian lembaga pendidikan Islam melalui studi empiris di Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah. Fokus penelitian terletak pada bagaimana lembaga mengelola dan mengoptimalkan aset wakaf untuk mendukung keberlanjutan pendidikan dan kemandirian ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen kelembagaan. Validasi data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi sumber dan metode, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk menjamin keakuratan dan kredibilitas hasil penelitian. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah mengelola enam sektor utama wakaf produktif yang mencakup perdagangan, industri, keuangan, jasa, pertanian, dan peternakan, yang secara kolektif memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pembiayaan operasional lembaga. Pengelolaan dilakukan melalui sistem kelembagaan yang menekankan profesionalisme, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa manajemen wakaf produktif mampu memperkuat kemandirian ekonomi lembaga, memperluas akses pendidikan, serta mendorong pemberdayaan sosial masyarakat. Integrasi nilai spiritual, ekonomi, dan lingkungan dalam proses pengelolaan mencerminkan model manajemen pendidikan Islam yang berkelanjutan dan dapat dijadikan acuan bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Islamic educational institutions, specifically focusing on Darunnajah Institute and University in Indonesia, utilizing the Learning Organization (LO) approach. The study aims to explore how AI can enhance the educational process while maintaining the core spiritual and moral values of Islamic education. A qualitative research methodology was employed, which included stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion, to select studies that examine AI’s potential in personalized learning, religious practices, and ethical challenges within Islamic education.The findings highlight AI’s capacity to improve academic performance, streamline administrative processes, and support personalized learning paths. However, the study emphasizes the importance of balancing technological advancements with the preservation of Islamic values. AI tools, such as real-time feedback for Quranic recitation, show promising outcomes in cognitive development but cannot replace human educators' roles in fostering moral and spiritual growth. Ethical concerns, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and transparency, are critical to ensuring AI's alignment with Islamic principles.The study proposes a hybrid model of AI integration that combines technology with traditional teaching methods. Future research should focus on developing ethical frameworks for AI, especially regarding privacy and algorithmic fairness, and explore further how AI can enhance both academic and character development in Islamic education. This research contributes to the literature on AI in Islamic education and provides practical insights for institutions aiming to adopt AI while preserving their religious and ethical foundations.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of the pedagogical Deep Learning (DL) approach, specifically the Meaningful, Mindful, and Joyful (MMJ) framework, within the traditional educational system of Indonesian pesantren. The aim is to analyze the compatibility, challenges, and operationalization of DL to enhance learning outcomes and prepare students for the demands of the digital era. A qualitative case study approach was employed at pesantren Darunnajah in Bogor, involving in-depth interviews with 12 participants (3 teachers, 6 students, and 3 administrators), observations, and document analysis. The findings highlight a strong theoretical alignment between DL and pesantren's core educational values, such as Fahm (deep comprehension), Ijtihad (critical reasoning), and Adab (moral development). Empirically, teachers reported improved student engagement and reflective learning practices, with one educator noting, "The MMJ framework helps students connect religious lessons to their daily lives, making learning more relevant." However, the study identifies key challenges, including infrastructure gaps, diverse levels of digital literacy, and the need to balance digital innovation with the preservation of moral guidance. Strategies such as blended learning models and focused teacher training are recommended. The integration of DL within pesantren represents a strategic pedagogical evolution, empowering students to develop both religious and modern competencies. Future research should focus on the longitudinal impacts of DL on student outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines how talent management practices impact teacher retention at Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School. The examined practices in talent management encompass recruitment and selection processes, teamwork and managerial support, performance and career management, salary and compensation, teacher engagement, and the working conditions. This study employs a quantitative methodology utilizing the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique. Data collection involved administering questionnaires to educators who had served for at least one year in their current position. The findings demonstrate that performance and career management, along with working conditions, significantly and positively influence teacher retention. Conversely, the factors of recruitment and selection processes, teamwork and managerial support, salary and compensation, and teacher engagement do not significantly impact teacher retention. The results indicate that teachers’ retention is primarily affected by internal elements associated with opportunities for self-development and a supportive work environment rather than by administrative or financial considerations. This study aims to offer significant insights for decision-makers in Islamic boarding schools, assisting them in crafting more focused talent-management strategies to retain exceptional educators.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran penumpang kapal KM Kelud mengenai pentingnya budaya santun dalam menciptakan lingkungan pelayaran yang harmonis. KM Kelud, sebagai sarana transportasi vital rute Jakarta-Batam-Medan, sering kali menghadapi tantangan interaksi sosial akibat kepadatan penumpang dan durasi pelayaran yang lama. Masalah yang muncul meliputi kebisingan, pelanggaran zonasi merokok, hingga ketidaktertiban antre. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan langsung di kamar dan dek, pembagian materi panduan, pengisian kuesioner, serta aksi bersih lingkungan bersama. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman penumpang terhadap etika di ruang publik kapal serta antusiasme yang tinggi dalam diskusi mengenai kenyamanan bersama.

Abstract

Industri pelayaran global merupakan sektor strategis yang berperan penting dalam mendukung perdagangan internasional. Meskipun peluang karir di sektor ini sangat luas, pemahaman masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda, terhadap jenjang karir dan potensi pendapatan di bidang pelayaran masih terbatas. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai struktur karir, kualifikasi yang dibutuhkan, serta potensi pendapatan dalam industri pelayaran global. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan edukatif melalui presentasi materi, diskusi interaktif, dan pemberian motivasi karir. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 4 Februari 2026 di SMA Negeri 12 Batam dengan peserta siswa/i sebagai calon tenaga kerja masa depan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai peluang karir di sektor pelayaran serta meningkatnya motivasi untuk melanjutkan pendidikan di bidang maritim. Program ini efektif sebagai upaya peningkatan literasi karir maritim dan dapat mendorong minat generasi muda untuk berkontribusi dalam industri pelayaran global.

Abstract

This study develops the AIAT-HRM Model as a conceptual framework for systematically integrating four core Islamic values (amanah (trustworthiness), ihsan (excellence), adil (justice), and tanggung jawab (responsibility)) into educator human resource management (HRM) in Islamic educational institutions. Existing HRM practices in these institutions remain fragmented and have not translated Islamic values into operational HRM mechanisms. Using a qualitative library research design and Jabareen’s (2009) conceptual analysis procedure, the study synthesizes normative-theological sources (the Qur’an and Hadith), scholarly literature on Islamic education management, and contemporary HRM frameworks. The findings demonstrate the model’s specific contributions: amanah transforms recruitment and selection through integrity-based screening; ihsan shapes professional development and performance appraisal through standards of excellence and reflective evaluation (muhasabah); adil informs proportional compensation and just appraisal; and tanggung jawab institutionalizes layered accountability across HR planning. The AIAT-HRM Model converts Islamic values from moral ideals into measurable HRM indicators, including transparent recruitment SOPs, 360-degree appraisal mechanisms, and syura-based planning protocols. Theoretically, this study advances value-based HRM by offering an integrative model that bridges Islamic ethics and functional HRM. Practically, it provides educational leaders with concrete steps to align recruitment, development, appraisal, and compensation with Islamic principles. Future research should empirically test the AIAT-HRM Model across pesantren, madrasah, and Islamic universities to assess its impact on educator performance and institutional effectiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji etika fundraising dalam perspektif Islam dengan fokus pada aspek transparansi dan akuntabilitas lembaga filantropi syariah di Indonesia. Dalam perkembangan era digital, praktik penghimpunan dana (fundraising) mengalami transformasi signifikan yang menuntut adanya tata kelola yang lebih baik dan sesuai dengan prinsip syariah. Namun demikian, masih terdapat berbagai tantangan dalam implementasi nilai-nilai etika Islam, khususnya terkait keterbukaan informasi dan pertanggungjawaban pengelolaan dana umat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research) dan analisis deskriptif-normatif. Data diperoleh dari jurnal ilmiah bereputasi, literatur akademik, serta regulasi terkait pengelolaan filantropi Islam di Indonesia. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengkaji konsep etika Islam dalam fundraising serta membandingkannya dengan praktik yang diterapkan oleh lembaga filantropi syariah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transparansi dan akuntabilitas merupakan prinsip fundamental dalam menjaga kepercayaan publik terhadap lembaga filantropi. Prinsip tersebut selaras dengan nilai-nilai Islam seperti amanah, shiddiq, tabligh, dan fathanah. Namun demikian, implementasinya di lapangan masih menghadapi kendala, seperti belum seragamnya standar pelaporan, keterbatasan akses informasi publik, serta variasi kualitas tata kelola antar lembaga. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan sistem governance berbasis syariah diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kredibilitas lembaga filantropi Islam di Indonesia. Dengan demikian, optimalisasi etika fundraising tidak hanya berdampak pada efektivitas penghimpunan dana, tetapi juga pada keberlanjutan kepercayaan masyarakat.
