<![CDATA[Urban communities are communities with the greatest level of exposure to pollution, which can cause skin damage, such as premature aging. The main treatment to prevent it is the use of sun-protective cosmetics and those containing antioxidants. Lime peel and chicken egg shells are wastes that are abundant in the environment, both of which can be processed into ingredients for making cream. Based on interviews with several residents in the RT 6 RW IX area, they do not know the dangers of cosmetics and how to process the waste of lime peel and chicken egg shells into cosmetics. Many people use cosmetics without paying attention to whether the cosmetics are registered or not with BPOM, people also do not pay attention to the contents of these cosmetics. They generally buy because of the influence of advertisements and information from their closest people/neighbors. This community service aims to train the community in making creams from lime peel extract and chicken egg shells as well as counseling about harmful cosmetics. The target audience is the community of RT 6 RW IX, Kelurahan Sambung Jawa, Makassar City. The method of implementing this Community Service is counseling and the practice of making anti-aging creams from lime peel extract and chicken egg shells. The number of participants is 30 people from RT 6 RW IX, Kelurahan Sambung Jawa, Makassar City. The technical implementation of Phase 1 is education using the lecture method. Before the counseling is carried out, the service team conducts a pretest to measure the level of knowledge of participants before education. Then the participants' knowledge was measured through posttest after education. Measurement of participants' knowledge was done by distributing questionnaires. Stage 2 is the practice of making cream from lime peel extract and chicken egg shell powder by distributing modules to each participant. From the results of the activity, the results of Phase I showed that there was an increase in participants' knowledge about the effects and impacts of using harmful cosmetics, where the average score of participants in the pretest was 6.43 and the posttest was 9.3. And in stage 2, it was found that the participants were able to process the waste of lime peel and chicken egg shells into anti-aging face cream products that are safe for daily use.Keywords: counseling, practice, cosmetics, nips peel, chicken egg shellMasyarakat perkotaan adalah masyarakat dengan tingkat paparan polusi terbesar, yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan kulit, seperti penuaan dini (aging). Perawatan utama untuk mencegahnya adalah pemakaian kosmetik pelindung matahari dan yang mengandung antioksidan. Kulit jeruk nipis dan cangkang telur ayam merupakan limbah yang melimpah di lingkungan, ke dua limbah tersebut dapat diolah menjadi bahan pembuatan krim. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan beberapa warga di wilayah RT 6 RW IX, mereka tidak mengetahui bahaya kosmetik dan bagaimana mengolah limbah kulit jeruk nipis dan cangkang telur ayam menjadi kosmetik. Masyarakat banyak yang menggunakan kosmetik tanpa memperhatikan apakah kosmetik tersebut terdaftar atau tidak pada BPOM, masyarakat juga tidak memperhatikan kandungan kosmetik tersebut. Mereka umumnya membeli karena pengaruh iklan dan informasi dari orang-orang terdekat/tetangga mereka.Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih masyarakat dalam pembuatan Krim dari ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis dan cangkang telur ayam serta Penyuluhan tentang kosmetik yang berbahaya. Khalayak sasaran ialah masyarakat RT 6 RW IX Kelurahan Sambung Jawa Kota Makassar. Metode pelaksanaan Pengabmas ini adalah penyuluhan dan praktik pembuatan krim anti aging dari ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis dan cangkang telur ayam jumlah peserta 30 orang masyarakat RT 6 RW IX Kelurahan Sambung Jawa Kota Makassar. Teknis pelaksanaan Tahap 1 dilakukan edukasi dengan metode ceramah, Sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan, tim pengabdi melakukan pretest untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan peserta sebelum edukasi. Kemudian dilakukan pengukuran pengetahuan peserta melalui posttest setelah edukasi. Pengukuran pengetahuan peserta dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner. Tahap 2 dilakukan praktik pembuatan krim dari ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis dan serbuk cangkang telur ayam dengan dibagikannya modul kepada setiap peserta. Dari hasil kegiatan dapat di dapatkan hasil Tahap I menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang efek dan dampak penggunaan kosmetik berbahaya, dimana skor rata-rata peserta pada pretest sebesar 6,43 dan posttest sebesar 9,3. Dan pada tahap 2 ditemukan hasil bahwa peserta sudah dapat mengolah limbah kulit jeruk nipis dan cangkang telur ayam menjadi produk krim wajah anti aging yang aman digunakan sehari-hari.Kata kunci : penyuluhan, praktik, kosmetik, kulit jeruk nips, cangkang telur ayam]]>
