Abstract

This research purposes to discribe the theme from short story Anak Harian Compas January-Februari edision and theme of Anak harian Kompas is related with propensity of children behavior. This research is qualitatived by descriptive method. The method is used to describe data about the theme and relation between the theme and children nowadays in Short Story Anak Harian Kompas, January–March 2013 Edision. Data is collected by using some steps. These are : (1) Reading the children short story from Harian Kompas. (2) Investigating as the format inventarisasi data. Base on analysis, it is found eight themes which is decsribed those themes with children nowadays. These are : (1) generosity(2) About a trust. (3) Miscommunication. (4) Responsibility and hard working. (5) Riko’s creativity. (6) The struggle of scavengers girl. (7) obtruding. (8) Shying with condition.

Abstract

The study aims to describe'' (1) social distortion against the prevailing norms in society contained in novel The glowing hearts by Prasetyo Wiwid, (2) The causes of social deviation in novel The glowing hearts by Prasetyo Wiwid, (3) The causes of irregularities contained in novel The glowing hearts Prasetyo Wiwid work. This research is a qualitative research which used descriptive method and used mimesis approach, to see how the social equation in the novel The glowing hearts by Prasetyo Wiwid, the research was done by analyzing the novel by describing the structure of the novel, classifying the deviated event by each character and finally made the conclusion.

Abstract

This article to desrcibe multiculturalism in the novel Kusut author by Ismet Fanany. To get the purpose use the study of kualitative with descriptive analyst method. A data of this study is the data multiculturalism solidarityandbrotherhood, open trading, family values, respect for ethics, was enough in life,  and sharing and control of power gainedfromthe studyobjectordata source, that is novel Kusut author by Ismet Fanany.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to describe the (1) the structure of the text spells treatment, (2) supporting aspects spells reading of treatment, (3) the treatment of inheritance spells. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and recording. The results showed that the structure of the text spells treatment consists of: the opening section, part of the contents, and the end. Supporting aspects spells reading of treatment in Kenagarian Talu found: (1) time: free, wherever, (2) actors: shaman himself, (3) events: be seated, standing and kneeling, (4) where: in shaman home and patient home, (5) clothing: white clothes and free, (6) fixtures: medicine fit the type of illness, medicine is attached and drunk, (7) how to bring spell: slowly, cautiously, and whispered. Inheritance process of treatment spell is divided into two, (1) spells obtained from the parents,  but some are obtained from family members, such as brothers, and (2) generally passed on to children.
