Abstract

Teknologi informasi bukan lagi sebagai pelengkap, tapi merupakan kebutuhan dalam dunia akademis terutama perguruan tinggi. Proses pencatatan kehadiran mahasiswa saat ini kebanyakan masih dilakukan secara manual dengan membubuhkan tanda tangan pada kertas. Dengan banyaknya jumlah mahasiswa dari tahun ke tahun pada setiap perguruan tinggi, kebutuhan akan suatu sistem yang dapat mengelola data-data mahasiswa serta kecepatan akses dalam memperoleh informasi menuntut pihak universitas untuk membangun suatu sistem yang dapat membantu proses administrasi perkuliahan. Sistem Presensi Online merupakan suatu solusi untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dengan sistem ini maka presensi mahasiswa dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan barcode scanner dengan melakukan scan terhadap barcode yang terdapat pada kartu mahasiswa, tidak lagi dilakukan secara manual menggunakan kertas (paperless). Hal ini akan membantu dosen dan pihak administrasi universitas dalam mengelola rekapitulasi kehadiran mahasiswa serta dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi dosen dalam mengevaluasi dan mengambil tindakan terhadap mahasiswa yang bersangkutan. Selain itu, sistem ini akan menjadi gudang data terkomputerisasi yang menyimpan arsip data-data mahasiswa dalam jumlah besar.

Abstract

Bungaraya Subdistrict is one of the sub-districts in Siak Sri Indrapura Regency which continues to grow rapidly, starting with forest land and becoming productive plantation land as its population grows. In research conducted by the PPIG research team at the University of Riau, it has carried out mapping of Bungaraya District, the results of this study have provided the final result in the form of a visual form of the area. the distribution of land in Bungaraya Subdistrict, especially plantation land. Knowing the shape of the pattern of distribution of plantation land using the Average Nearest Neighbor method is a solution for monitoring land changes that occur. The purpose of this study was to observe and identify the distribution patterns of plantation land in Bungaraya District. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis. The identified plantation areas are then analyzed using the nearest neighbor analysis or Average Nearest Neighbor. The plantation land in Bungaraya Subdistrict is measured by a straight line distance between the centroid point of the plantation land and the centroid point of the nearest plantation land using the administrative map of the Bungaraya District land area through the Geographic Information System (GIS), namely ArcGIS. Analysis performed using manual calculations yielded 0.8 results, analysis using ArcGIS yielded 0.820553 results and analysis using pyhton programming yielded 0.7998641226905585 results, then the results of land distribution patterns in Bungaraya District were clustered (Clusstered). To see the accuracy of the results of the three analyzes, the test was carried out with the Confusion Matrix method from the test, which resulted in an accuracy of 98%. The clustering pattern becomes a reference material for the local government to make policies regarding land management that occurs.Keywords: Average Nearest Neighbor, Confusion Matrix, Plantation Land, Distribution Pattern

Abstract

Job Training is one of the graduation requirements for students majoring in Electrical Engineering, University of Riau. The intended purpose of implementing job training is as a means for students todevelop skills and knowledge in accordance with their field of concentration. The job training system in the Electrical Engineering department at the University of Riau still has several weaknesses. Some of them are the use of google forms when students submit job training, the uneven amount of guidance for supervisors and the difficulty of conducting face-to-face guidance. The solution to these problems is to build a web-based job training information system that is used to manage job training data. The system is developed using the CodeIgniter web framework with PHP and HTML programming language. Abstract

Application based on computer nowadays growth so fast on every scope. Every institute trying to improve research quality by using application based on website or mobile phone. Thesis is a term in Indonesia to describe scientific work as one of the requirements for a bachelor's degree including department of electrical engineering, University of Riau. On its way, department of electrical engineering face into some problems on the process of student thesis guidance. First problem is student and lecturer are hard to find a schedule for thesis guidance meet. Second problem is lecturer experience difficulty to monitor every students thesis progress, all this time monitoring is done manually by writing note. Third problem, thesis coordinator experience difficulty to make a recapitulation because thesis coordinator have to collect all note from the lecturers to knowing student’s thesis progress. Abstract

Al-Qur`an merupakan firman Allah SWT yang diturunkan kepada nabiyullah baginda Nabi Muhammad SAW yang mana Al-Qur’an terdiri dari berbagai tema yang memiliki kaitan antar satu dengan yang lainnya. Penelitian ini menyajikan desain model manajemen publikasi tematik untuk mengintegrasikan metadata ilmiah berdasarkan knowledge graph. Berdasarkan model ini, platform media visualisasi tematik direalisasikan untuk pengambilan sumber daya ilmiah dan analisis, yang tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pencarian ilmiah dan mengurangi kesulitan dalam mempelajari tematik dalam Al-Qu’ran. Pada penelitian ini, hubungan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan tematiknya dirumuskan dalam bentuk knowledge graph dengan menggunakan basis data grafik Neo4j. Data tematik Al-Quran diambil dari Al-Qur’an Amazing (Cordoba) dan data Al-Qur’an diambil dari qurandatabase.org. Aplikasi web visualisasi hubungan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dengan tematiknya yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik telah dibangun dengan nilai rata-rata precision 1 dan F-score 0.56 untuk pencarian berdasarkan surat dan ayat dan nilai rata-rata precision 1 dan F-score 1 untuk pencarian berdasarkan tema.

    Kehadiran mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan merupakan salah satu komponen yang penting dalam prosesbelajar mengajar. Dengan semakin sering mahasiswa masuk kelas, maka semakin sering pula intensitasmahasiswa dalam menerima pelajaran yang akan berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kepahaman mahasiswaterhadap matakuliah yang ditempuhnya. Selain itu, tingkat presentasi kehadiran mahasiswa juga dapat menjadibahan pertimbangan bagi dosen dalam mengevaluasi dan mengambil tindakan terhadap mahasiswa tersebut.Teknologi informasi bukan lagi sebagai pelengkap, tapi merupakan kebutuhan dalam dunia akademis terutamaperguruan tinggi. Sistem Presensi Online merupakan suatu solusi untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dengansistem ini maka presensi mahasiswa dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan barcode scanner atau melakukanpresensi langsung secara terkomputerisasi tanpa harus melakukan secara manual menggunakan kertas (paperless). Hal ini juga akan membantu dosen dan pihak administrasi universitas dalam mengelola rekapitulasikehadiran mahasiswa dan menjadi gudang data terkomputerisasi yang menyimpan arsip data-data mahasiswadalam jumlah besar pada sistem yang menggunakan oracle sebagai sarana penyimpanannya.Kata Kunci: presensi online, perkuliahan, praktikum, oracle, barcode scanner.

Abstract

Digital signage is a medium that used to inform the direct information and announcement faster, precisely, and up to date. On Electronics Engineering at the University of Riau, the medium that used to inform the information and announcement still use conventional methods, that is wall magazine and using social media WhatsApp. To maximize the information and announcement system, we design digital signage based on the online web that can be accessed via an internet connection. The result of this research is to get better information and announcement system on Electronics Engineering at the University of Riau. Not just that, the admin can manage all of the information that should be informed to academic civitas easily. Abstract

At a university, both public and private, of course, there are lecturers for the implementation of the teaching and learning process. lecturers can be declared as professional educators and scientists who have the main task of transforming, developing, and disseminating science, technology, and art through education, research, and community service. Promotion is an award given for the work performance and dedication of lecturers, as well as an encouragement to lecturers to further improve their work performance and dedication. With this promotion, it is intended that the lecturer is able to increase the level of productivity, have more motivation, to do things that are innovative or at least will not violate the existing rules in the agency. Therefore, to take advantage of increasingly advanced technology, we designed a web-based lecturer promotion information system that can assist in the process of lecturer promotion. Abstract

The Great Mosque Islamic Center Rokan Hulu is the best national mosque in Indonesia and also as an icon of Rokan Hulu Regency which has the nickname of the Country of Thousand Suluk. This mosque is also a religious tourist place. Therefore, this mosque has many religious activity agendas that are in the spotlight of the wider community. The lack of information dissemination on religious activities is a major problem that must be overcome. Communities often get non-updated information and outdated information. Mobile Application of Religious Activities for the Great Mosque Islamic Center Rokan Hulu with Push Notification is the solution to these problems. This application uses the push notification method so that users easily get information on religious activities through automatic notifications on the user's smartphone and also as a reminder of the schedule of religious activities. Users can also set up information on religious activity information they want to get through the notification configuration menu. Abstract

Courses timetabling is one of the most important administrative activities that is always carried out before entering the beginning of the semester. The courses timetabling at the Electrical Engineering Department actually uses computers, but it has not been used optimally. The timetable for the Electrical Engineering Department is made with the help of the Microsoft Excel program so that scheduling and detecting conflicting schedules is difficult. the solution to this problem is a web-based course timetabling information system that can be accessed via a computer, laptop or smartphone and can also detect conflicting timetable so that this system can help facilitate administrative staff in timetabling and make it easier for lecturers to get information about course timetable anywhere and anytime. functionality testing has been carried out using the black box testing method. Based on the results of the Black Box test, this Course timetabling Information System can functionally be used properly and produce results as expected.
