Abstract

Indonesia with seven other countries, namely Bangladesh, China, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan, Peru, and Thailand are the signatory countries of APSCO Convention, on October 28th, 2005. APSCO is space coopeation organization outside the United Nations system for the Asia Pacific region, initiated by the People’s Republic of  China. To date, from the eight signatory countries, only Indonesia has not ratified yet and has not become a full member of APSCO. This paper examines cost and benefit of the Indonesia membership on APSCO.  The methods used are quantitative and qualitative method.  While the analysis used approaches related to contribution of cost to provided and benefits to be received by Indonesia as well as the national interest mentioned in Presidential Decree No. 64/1999 on Indonesian Membership and Indonesian Government Contributions to International Organizations.  From the study, it was found that by ratifying the Convention and following APSCO activities optimally, the benefits will be receive by Indonesia greater than contribution given to APSCO. Similarry, the joining of Indonesia in APSCO will also provide substansial benefit for the national interest, especially for politic, economic, international peace and security, humanity, and others as well as  enhancing better relationship among countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Abstract

Kondisi pembelajaran di dalam kelas pada mata pelajaran Matematika khususnya di Min 1 Padang pada siswa kelas IIC, terlihat guru masih mengajar menggunakan metode cermah. Siswa terlihat pasif, sehingga kurang mendorong siswa untuk terlibat aktif selama proses pembelajaran. Untuk itu dibutuhkan Pembelajaran yang beragam salah satunya dengan menggunakan Media Dringking Straws dan kantong bilangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan peningkatan pada hasil belajar matematika dengan menggunakan media Dringking straws dan kantong bilangan. Untuk Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas I MIN 1 Kota Padang yang berjumlah 26 orang. Alur dalam penelilitian ini dilaksanakan atas dua siklus, setiap siklus terdapaat dua kali pertemuan, pada setiap pertemuan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti sebagai praktisi dan teman sejawat sebagai observer. Hasil penelitian ini mengalami peningkatan dari siklus ke siklus, disana terlihat bahwa penilaian RPP siklus I adalah 82% dan 83% dalam kategori Baik, siklus II adalah 95% dan 97% kategori Sangat Baik. Untuk hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru sendiri pada siklus I dengan rata-rata 78,7% dengan kategori baik, mengalami peningkatan siklus II menjadi 96% dengn kategori ssangat baik. Hasil pada penilaian aktivitas siswa siklus I rata-rata dengan nilai 69% dengan kategori cukup. Aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan 83,5% dengan kategori baik. Untuk hasil belajarpu mengalami peningkatan Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I pertemuan I dengan nilai rata-rata 65% kategori Cukup, siklus I pertemuan II 74% dengan kategori Cukup, siklus II pertemuan II adalah 85% kategori Baik, dan pada Siklus II Pertemuan II adalah 91% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the preparation, analyze the implementation strategy, and analyze the evaluation and implications of the implementation of strategic planning on the quality of education at SD Negeri 11 Lubuk Buaya Padang City. The type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, with observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that the preparation of strategic planning in improving the quality of education, namely: a) analysis of the internal and external environment, b) strategy formulation with the formulation fully carried out by the team. At the implementation stage of strategic planning, the techniques or strategies used are: a) involving stakeholders by announcing the program at the beginning of the learning year, holding coordination meetings every month, assigning tasks according to their fields; b) maximizing the resources owned by budgeting program implementation costs and using existing facilities and infrastructure. At the evaluation stage, the evaluation carried out is internal and external evaluation. The implications of the implementation of strategic planning are an increase in the quality of education with indicators: a) improving the KBM process; b) increasing achievements; c) increasing the number of students d) increasing the percentage of graduation; e) the fulfillment of facilities supporting the learning process in accordance with SNP. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of Grade III D students at SD Islam Khaira Ummah in mathematics, particularly in the topic of whole number division. This condition was caused by the use of worksheets (LKPD) that were less varied, less interactive, and had not encouraged students to think deeply. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a Deep Learning–Based LKPD in mathematics learning to improve students’ learning motivation that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The LKPD was developed using a Deep Learning approach and implemented through the Discovery Learning model. The validity test was conducted by material, language, and design experts. Practicality was assessed by the classroom teacher, while effectiveness was measured through a learning motivation questionnaire and pre-test and post-test results involving 25 students.The results showed that the developed LKPD achieved a validity level of 89% (very valid), practicality of 97% (very practical), and effectiveness of 90% (very effective). Thus, the LKPD is feasible to enhance students’ motivation in mathematics learning.

Abstract

The development of learning media used by teachers in class VB of MIN 2 Padang City is still not optimal in utilizing learning media. The media used consists of picture posters, causing students to be less active and bored during learning. To overcome this problem, Tic Tac Toe Learning Media was developed to fulfill students' learning needs and increase their learning motivation. This research employed R&D with the ADDIE model. This research also applied the PBL model. The developed material covers the Diversity of Indonesian Culture in Pancasila Education subject during the even semester. The validity of the Tic Tac Toe product was tested by validators using a validity questionnaire. Practicality was assessed by teachers, while effectiveness was evaluated by 29 students through an effectiveness questionnaire. Based on the research results, this media successfully increased the learning motivation of students in class VB of MIN 2 Padang City. Teachers can also utilize this media to enhance students' enthusiasm and motivation in learning Pancasila Education. The assessment results indicate that three aspects were fulfilled. Meanwhile, validity aspect obtained a score of 90% with a very valid category. The practicality aspect achieved a score of 78.3%, categorized as practical. The effectiveness aspect received a score of 90.2%, classified as very effective.
