Abstract

Gua Sarongge merupakan salah satu gua yang berada di Tasikmalaya tepatnya di Kecamatan Kawalu. Gua merupakan habitat dari berbagai hewan salah satunya Arthropoda, namun tidak semua Arthropoda dapat hidup pada kondisi gua dengan tingkat pencahayaan yang berda-beda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis Arthropoda pada tiap zona yang berbeda di Gua Sarongge Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, teknik pengambilan data menggunakan 3 cara yaitu, Hand collecting, Pitfall trap dan Light trap. Teknik analisis data menggunakan 6 indeks ekologi diaintaranya indeks kepadatan, indeks dominansi, indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Weiner, indeks kekayaan jenis dan indeks keseragaman.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan Arthropoda yang ditemukan pada zona terang 17 jenis, zona remang 15 jenis dan zona gelap 11 jenis. Indeks kepadatan paling tinggi berada pada zona terang sebesar 2,69 begitupun dengan Indeks dominansi dan indeks keanekaragamannya sebesar 0,19 dan 2,22. Untuk indeks kekayaan jenis paling tinggi berada pada zona remang sebesar 4,46 dan indeks kemerataan paling tinggi berada pada zona gelap sebesar 0.91. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa faktor abiotik khususnya cahaya matahari dapat berpengaruh terhadap keberadaan dan keberagaman Arthropoda pada setiap zona.Kata Kunci: Gua Sarongge; Arthropoda; Indeks Ekologi

Abstract

TRAINING ON 3-DIMENSIONAL MEDIA USAGE IN BIOLOGICAL LEARNING FOR MENTALLY RETARDATION STUDENTS IN TASIKMALAYA. All students have the right to get knowledge that is beneficial in facing various challenges in a community life, no matter how many students. Biological learning done for students of disabled sought to bridge the limitations and barriers that children have and develop the potential of children in order to carry out opportunities for broader life. Through a 3-dimensional media-based learning is expected to provide understanding and skills for students who later can have creative thinking skills. In addition to the 3-dimensional media is also expected to be found several children who have potential in terms of art especially fine art. Based on the results of observations and trainings that have been done, the students are happy and have their own interest in learning to use the 3-dimensional media, but to further develop the thinking skills of students need Continuous effort. The use of 3-dimensional media can also be the basis in the training of manufacturing various products such as in the manufacture of cakes and also some artwork that has its own economic value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation of metacognitive awareness with biology learning outcomes of students in class XI IPA MA Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya City which was conducted in May 2021. This research is a correlational study. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA MA Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya City as many as 4 classes. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling technique as many as 67 students of class XI IPA 3 and class XI IPA 4. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and interviews. The results of data analysis showed that there was a relationship between metacognitive awareness and biology learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient value of 0.531 meaning that it had a moderate correlation, and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between metacognitive awareness and learning outcomes of biology class XI IPA MAN 1 Tasikmalaya City.

Abstract

The vast expanse of seagrass beds in coastal areas can provide many ecosystem services, one of which is the ability of seagrass beds to absorb and store carbon dioxide (CO2). Carbon dioxide gas (CO2) is one of the components of greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming. So the role of seagrass is very important in the ecosystem. This study aims to determine carbon storage in seagrass in the littoral zone of Sancang Beach, Garut Regency, which was carried out in April-June 2022. Determination of potential carbon storage was carried out by taking seagrass samples with a size of 20 cm x 20 cm, then drying to a constant weight. and calculated using a carbon conversion factor for seagrass biomass of 0.34. The results showed that the carbon content at Station 1 Cibako (145.9331 g C/m2) was higher than Station 2 Cikujangjambe (110.026 g C/m2) and Station 3 Ciporeang (117.771 g C/m2). The average carbon content at Sancang beach is 124,577 g C/m2. The conclusion is that in general the carbon storage below the substrate (below ground) in seagrass in the Litoral Zone of Sancang Beach has a greater value than the value of carbon storage above the substrate (above ground).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of air pollution on the stomata characteristics in Pigeon Orchid (Dendrobium crumenatum) leaves in Tasikmalaya. This research is quantitative. The Samples were taken through survey method with purposive sampling technique in the Singaparna Bus Station as an exposed area with the highest air pollution, Sukaraja-Mangunreja street as an exposed area with the moderate air pollution, and Mount Galunggung as an exposed area with the the lowest air pollution. The characteristics of the stomata observed using an Optilab camera type Professional Model Series MTN001 which already has the Image Raster application and previously calibrated with an object glass micrometer at 400 x magnifications. The Data analysed quantitatively and descriptively using one way ANOVA test. The results showed that different levels of air pollution could affect the characteristics of the stomata. Stomata in areas with high air pollution have the highest stomata index and stomata density, namely 8.2% and 326.11/mm2, with the category of medium density and oval stomata shape. Stomata in areas with moderate air pollution have the lower stomata index and stomata density, namely 7.3% and 256.47/mm2, with the low-density category and round stomata shape. Meanwhile, stomata in areas with low air pollution have the lowest stomata index and stomata density, namely 5.7% and 256.47/mm2, which indicate the category of low density and the shape of the stomata is round.
