Abstract

Corn is one of the cereals that has strategic and economic value and has the opportunity to be developed. The attack of the Sitophilus Zeamais Motsch species becomes one of the obstacles in the process of storing corn. This study aims to develop the potential of plant biopesticides from grinting grass to control the warehouse pests of Sitophilus Zeamais Motsch. This research is a laboratory based experimental study. The independent variables in this study were the gram weight of grinting grass extract and the number of Sitophilus Zeamais Motsch pests. The dependent variable in this study was the mortality of Sitophilus Zeamais Motsch. Grinting grass extract is obtained using maceration method. Qualitative and quantitative tests were carried out to test the active compound content of grinting grass. Vegetable biopesticide toxicity tests were carried out using a completely randomized design. The results showed that variations in the weight of grinting grass affect the content of chemical compounds present in the grass. Based on UV-Vis and FTIR spectra, the content of polyphenols, alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, steroids, and saponins contains 20 gr / 100 mL, there are flavonoids as much, 2.38 mg / mL, saponins as 2.04 mg / mL, alkaloids as much as 1.79 mg / mL, polyphenols 3.15 mg / mL, steroids as much as 2.24 mg / mL and terpenoids as much as 3.15 mg / mL. Based on qualitative tests the active compound is evidenced by changes in color and deposition. While based on pest mortality tests, it was found that almost 50 percent of grinting grass extract can kill corn pests within a period of 7 days of observation with an extract concentration of 800 ppm. Key words: Biopesticides, Grinting Grass, Uv-Vis

Abstract

One component that cannot be separated in the learning process is teaching materials which can be in the form of modules. The availability of teaching materials can be one of the supports for the successful implementation of the learning process. Teaching materials contain an arrangement of a set of materials to create an environment/atmosphere that allows students to learn. Thus, one of the objectives of providing teaching materials is to facilitate the student learning process. The relationship between lecturers, students, and learning materials. Thus, one of the objectives of providing teaching materials is to facilitate the student learning process. The relationship between lecturers, students, and teaching materials is dynamic and complex. Module is a type of teaching material that is designed to be studied independently by students and is designed systematically and attractively to facilitate the learning process. Based on initial observations made in the field, especially in the practicum learning activities of the electrical engineering study program at PGRI Banyuwangi University, there is a lack of practicum modules so that practicum activities are less measurable in learning outcomes. This needs to be developed with practicum modules especially in digital engineering courses in order to facilitate digital engineering practicum activities for electrical engineering students at PGRI Banyuwangi University. In this study using the R & D research method, from the results of research with a student population of 15 from the Electrical Engineering Study Program at PGRI Banyuwangi University, the average learning result was 87.5, and the validation results were 89% in the very valid category, and the student response results showed 88% in the very category Good

Abstract

The problem in this study is the still low basic shot-put-sport technique in grade V students of SDN Karangrejo Banyuwangi. This study aims to improve shot-put-sport learning with shot modification through Lesson Study in grade V students of SDN Karangrejo Banyuwangi Regency in 2023/2024. It is hoped that with this learning modification, the basic shot-put-sport technique will improve. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The research subjects used were 20 grade V students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data taken by researchers and collaborators using student behavior observation sheets in learning and basic shot-put-sport movement assessment rubrics. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that after being given the first cycle learning completeness action, the first meeting increased by 8.33% from the initial condition. In the first cycle, the second meeting increased by 37.50% from the first meeting. In the second cycle, it increased by 16.67% from the first cycle, the second meeting or increased by 62.50% from the initial condition. The improvement of learning completeness, the researcher believes that through the play approach, it is very helpful in the learning process of linear style shot put. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been described in the previous chapter, the following conclusions can be drawn: by modifying shot put learning through Lesson study, it can improve the basic shot-put-sport technique in class V of SDN Karangrejo.

Abstract

This article discusses a workshop training for the youth of Karang Taruna Tanggulwangi. Karang Taruna youth do not have permanent jobs and the majority drop out of school. So service training and motorbike repair shop business opportunities are proposed for Karang Taruna Youth, Jambewangi Village, Sempu District, Banyuwangi Regency to reduce the unemployment rate. The results of service training and motorbike repair shop business opportunities can help young people develop employment opportunities related to motorbike service, thereby improving their standard of living.
