Abstract

54 Anak Air. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Interaksi siswa yang berbeda budaya pada siswa kelas satu, dua dan tiga cenderung canggung dan tertutup. Sedangkan, interaksi pada tingkatan kelas lebih lanjut sangat akrab dan cenderung terbuka. Interaksi siswa dengan siswa yang berbeda budaya telah menunjukkan adanya penghargaan terhadap perbedaan budaya. Sehingga dalam interaksi telah terbinanya nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural yaitu nilai toleransi dan nilai kesetaraan. Interaksi guru dengan siswa yang berbeda budaya menunjukkan terbinanya nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural yaitu nilai toleransi, demokrasi, nilai kesetaraan dan nilai keadilan. Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan di SDN 54 Anak Air baik kegiatan dalam kelas maupun diluar kelas di SDN 54 Anak Air telah memuat nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural. Pemahaman guru-guru di SDN 54 Anak Air terhadap pendidikan multikultural secara teoritis masih kurang, Namun dalam tindakan dan memperlakukan siswa yang berbeda budaya telah memuat nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the role of mamak kanduang in the marriage of a nephew in the Padang Pariaman community, West Sumatra, which is part of the local wisdom of the Minangkabau community. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by means of data collection, data reduction and data presentation. The results showed that the existence of mamak kanduang in a nephew's marriage in Padang Pariaman played more roles as matchmakers (Maresek), proposed marriage, bakampuang-kampuang activities and deliberating the amount of japuiktan money. The conclusions of the study that the role of mamak kanduang in the marriage of nephews are a) The role of mamak kanduang in finding a mate or Maresek in marriage; b) The role of mamak kanduang in proposing; c) The role of mamak kanduang in bakampuang-village activities and deliberating the amount of japuiktan money. Abstract

This study describes how to foster multicultural education values ​​at SDN 54 Anak Air. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Research data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data is done by triangulation of data sources. The research findings show that the interaction of students from different cultures in grades one, two and three tends to be awkward and closed. Meanwhile, the interaction at the further grade level is very intimate and tends to be open. The interaction of students with students from different cultures has shown an appreciation for cultural differences. So that in the interaction the values ​​of multicultural education have been built, namely the value of tolerance and the value of equality. The interaction of teachers with students of different cultures shows the development of the values ​​of multicultural education, namely the value of tolerance, democracy, the value of equality and the value of justice. Activities held at SDN 54 Anak Air both in-class and out-of-class activities at SDN 54 Anak Air have included the values ​​of multicultural education. The understanding of the teachers at SDN 54 Anak Air towards multicultural education is theoretically still lacking, however in their actions and treating students of different cultures it contains the values of multicultural education.
