Abstract

Pengangkatan pegawai dalam jabatan stuktural di kantor Badan Kepegawaian pendidikan dan pelatihan Daerah Kabupaten Muaro Jambi pada saat ini sudah berdasarkan persyaratan administrasi antaralain, memiliki pangkat serendah-rendahnya satu tingkat dari jenjang pangkat yang ditentukan, pendidikan, sehat jasmani dan rohani, masa kerja dan pelatihan jabatan. Dari persayaratan diatas maka jumlah pegawai yang berhak mendapatkan promosi jabatan jumlahnya jauh lebih banyak dari jabatan yang tersedia.Sebagai akibatnya, dalam menentukan kelayakan bagi seorang pegawai untuk menduduki sebuah jabatan memerlukan banyak waktu dan menjadi sangat subjektif karna keputusan yang diambil hanya berdasarkan Intusi, pengalaman dan tidak didukung dengan data. Untuk itu, penulis menganalisa dan merancang aplikasi sistem penunjang keputusan kenaikan jabatan dengan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dengan bahasa pemrograman visual Basic.net (VB.Net) dan memodelkanya dengan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Hasil yang didapat berupa sebuah aplikasi sistem penunjang keputusan yang dapat membantu para pengambil keputusan untuk menentukan pegawai yang layak dipromosikan.

Abstract

STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa merupakan salah satu kampus yang bergerak dalam pendidikan ilmu komputer di kota jambi. Ada 3 jenis beasiswa yang dapat diperoleh mahasiswa/i jenjang Strata 1 (S1) yaitu beasiswa Peningkat Prestasi Akademik (PPA), beasiswa BIDIKMISI dari Dirjen DIKTI atau beasiswa berprestasi dari yayasan STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi yang memiliki aturan dan kriteria tersendiri seperti Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK), penghasilan orang tua, jumlah saudara kandung, jumlah tanggungan orang tua, dan lain­lain. Guna membantu WAKA III bidang kemahasiswaan menseleksi mahasiswa/i yang layak menerima beasiswa maka dibutuhkan sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan multikriteria MAUT (Multi-Attribute Utility Theory) yang merupakan salah satu metode kuantitatif yang dijadikan dasar pengambilan keputusan melalui prosedur sistematis yang mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa beberapa variabel. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan membuat rancang bangun prototype aplikasi seleksi penerimaan beasiswa yang terintegrasi dengan sistem informasi akademik sehingga mempermudah proses seleksi dan pendaftaran beasiswa PPA maupun BIDIKMISI pada STIKOM Dinamika Jambi.

Abstract

Penggunaan layanan sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis website berupa perpustakaan digital sudah banyak dilakukan pada perpustakaan perguruan tinggi. Pemanfaatan perpustakaan digital dilakukan dalam rangka memberikan kemudahan bagi para pengguna perpustakaan, khususnya civitas akademika STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi yang dapat diakses pada alamat (http://digilib.stikom-db.ac.id) sejak tahun 2010. Sesuai tujuan pembuatannya perpustakaan digital tersebut digunakan sebagai wadah yang menampung berbagai penelitian, buku digital, skripsi, maupun thesis dari civitas akademika STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran maupun referensi oleh mahasiswa maupun dosen dalam melakukan penelitian selanjutnya. Namun hingga saat ini belum ada pengukuran kualitas digital library pada situs (http://digilib.stikom-db.ac.id), sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur penilaian pengguna terhadap kualitas layanan digital library STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi menggunakan WebQual 4.0. Adapun metode penelitan yang digunakan kuantitatif berupa kuesioner dengan responden mahasiswa/i Strata 1 (S1) STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi program studi Teknik Informatika (TI), Sistem Informasi (SI), dan Sistem Komputer (SK) semester genap 2018/2019 yang mengontrak mata kuliah kerja praktek dan tugas akhir dengan sampel 10% dari 563 responden yaitu 56 orang. Setelah itu dilanjutkan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi, serta analisis liniear berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics. Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu : kualitas penggunaan (usability), kualitas informasi (information quality), dan kualitas interaksi (interaction quality) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna (customer satisfaction).

Abstract

Management of diploma management in Universitas DinamikaBangsa is still conventional, the data collection process is still written manually. Part related to the management of diploma namely BAAK (Administrative Bureau of Academic and Student Affairs), Prodi Staff, Kaprodi(Head of Study Program), Chairman and Vice Chairman I. BAAK in charge of printing diploma then Staff Prodi duty to equip and distribute diploma to student. Kaprodi in charge of distributing diplomas that have not been taken one year. Every process in the making of diploma is not well recorded, such as diploma that has not been printed because the data is not complete student or diploma which not yet complete because not yet signed by student concerned. The purpose of this research is to design a management information system of distribution of diploma, so that every procedure and transition of diploma is recorded historically. Development of this information system using object-oriented approach includes the stages of problem formulation, data collection, system analysis, modeling and prototyping.

Abstract

Information quality of an information system required three aspects: the input, process, and output. If one of the three aspects is not executed properly then the resulting information will be distorted and will not be in accordance with academic needs so that there will be various losses both from the aspect of prospective students concerned and academics who manage the data of new students. STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi is one of the campuses that move in computer science education in jambi. In the past, the new student admissions activities are still offline and fill out the forms provided by the committee. Currently, STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi has created a new student admissions information system and is online in supporting and simplify prospective students in registering themselves as students at STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi. Therefore, this study aims to measure the maturity level of information systems of new admissions STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi using Monitor, Evaluate and Assess (MEA01) domain with interview method and questionnaire of Process Capability Model (PCM), so it can be known the current condition (as is) with the expected conditions (to be) by prospective new students who want to register as well as the internal STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi namely Front Office and Biro Administrasi Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan (BAAK).

Abstract

In today's digital era, data has become a strategic asset crucial for companies in decision-making processes. The Chinook database is a relational database designed to manage data for digital music sales companies. This project aims to explore and analyze data from the Chinook database, which contains information on sales, customers, artists, albums, and music genres that contribute the most to revenue. The analysis process begins with building an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipeline to prepare the data into a more structured data warehouse. The data is then visualized through an interactive dashboard using Tableau. The interactive visualization on the dashboard enables business teams to make data-driven decisions to improve revenue and operational efficiency. This project provides technical benefits such as skill development in database management, ETL processes, and data visualization, as well as business benefits, including more effective marketing strategies and catalog optimization. Thus, this project not only contributes to technical development but also identifies best selling products, improves customer retention, and supports strategic decision making in the digital music industry

Abstract

This study aims to design the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) on the VINIX Showcase Website as a personal branding platform and digital Skill Passport for participants of the VINIX Seven Aurum Program using the Design Thinking method. The background of this research is the absence of an integrated digital platform that can systematically and easily document and display participants' skills, projects, certificates, and professional identity. The design process is carried out through five stages of Design Thinking, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, starting with exploring user needs, formulating problems, developing solution ideas, creating Prototypes, and Usability Testing. The results of the study consist of the UI/UX design of the VINIX Showcase Website, which includes registration and Login features, user Dashboard, Skill Passport, project upload, public Showcase, and automatic CV generation feature. Testing using the Usability Testing method showed that the resulting design has a good level of ease of use and comfort and is acceptable to users. This research is expected to be an effective digital solution in supporting personal branding, skills documentation, and improving the professionalism of VINIX Seven Aurum Program participants.

Abstract

Conventional management of sports services often leads to inefficiency and limited public access to experts and facilities. Reliance on manual systems poses a high risk of scheduling conflicts or human error. This study aims to develop the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design for the Movement and Athletic Talent Hub (MATCH) application as an integrative digital solution. The approach employed is the Design Thinking method, encompassing the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. The design process resulted in an interactive prototype featuring key functions such as facility booking, trainer search, and a digital payment system. Evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method involving target users. The test results yielded an average score of 79.5, categorizing the MATCH application within the Good rating and Acceptable status. These findings indicate that the design is effective in meeting user needs and is viable for further development as a digital sports ecosystem.

Abstract

Many new business owners are seeking easy and simple business consulting services amid rapid technological advances. Unfortunately, most available platforms only offer consulting, not a place to consult and create websites. Biz Starter was created to meet this need, by becoming a platform that not only offers consulting services but also helps users build websites for their own businesses. The development process uses a user-oriented approach, starting from identifying needs, designing the appearance, and then conducting testing. The results show that it is quite helpful for users, especially beginners, because the appearance is simple, the flow is clear, and the business process is much more practical. Overall, this platform has succeeded in making the user experience easier, and it can serve as a digital companion for people who are preparing for business consulting.
