Abstract

Payment media is one of the important things that must be considered in the world of education in order to make it easier for students to make payments. In the category of Vocational High School (SMK) education level, not many schools use virtual account-based payment technology. In some schools, payment administration services are still carried out conventionally with various weaknesses including causing many queues that cause health protocol violations, unstructured administration so that errors in reporting often occur and open opportunities for fraud in payments. Based on the various weaknesses above, a payment system is needed that can overcome these problems. The payment model used is a virtual account which is commonly used in the current era. In this study the method used is research and development (R & D). This research resulted in a virtual account-based payment system belonging to Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI). The method used in the virtual account is polling with a certain time interval. This payment system is expected to improve service quality and ease of payment.

Abstract

Pentingnya kesadaran lingkungan sejak dini sangatlah penting agar dapat menumbuhkan kepekaan dan tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi di Desa Kayen yaitu kurang maksimalnya penggunaan green house di desa Kayen, dan pentingnya Enviromental Literacy bagi para remaja sehingga dalam pengabdian ini ingin Peningkatan keterampilan menggunakan media berupa modul Pemberdayaan Green House Enviromental Literacy Di Desa Kayen. Pengabdian masyarakat ini di laksanakan dengan metode pemaparan rencana pengabdian, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan program pegabdian masyarakat.

Abstract

The existence of a village greenhouse needs to be accompanied by adequate skills in its management as well as innovation in the use of plant products for the community. Therefore, this series of community service activities was carried out to gain insight into the proper management of a greenhouse in order to increase community productivity. This activity was carried out in October 2020 at the Village Green House which is located in the area of the Kayen Village Head Office, Bandarkedungmulyo District, Jombang Regency. In this activity, members of the youth organization were introduced to the management of the greenhouse and the selection of plant commodities. In addition, partners are also directed to process greenhouse plants into value-added products, namely eggplant chips and vegetable nuggets.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan potensi diri remaja terutama Ikatan Pelajar Nahdlatul Ulama (IPNU)-Ikatan Pelajar Putri Nahdlatul Ulama (IPPNU) di Desa Sentul, Kecamatan Tembelang, Jombang, meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aromaterapi, serta menambah pengalaman dalam memanfaatkan limbah menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai ekonomi lebih tinggi. Kegiatann ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 12-13 November 2021, di Desa Sentul, Kecamatan Tembelang, Jombang. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan workshop yang dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan. Pada pertemuan pertama, sebagian peserta belum mengerti cara membuat lilin aromaterapi dengan bahan dasar minyak jelantah, namun pada pertemuan kedua peserta melakukan praktik pembuatan lilin aromaterapi sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta. Tindak lanjut dari pelatihan ini adalah produksi lilin aromaterapi untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Pelatihan yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan potensi remaja Desa Sentul khususnya IPNU-IPPNU, pengetahuan mengenai pengolahan limbah minyak jelantah untuk dimanfaatkan kembali dan diproses menjadi lilin aromaterapi, serta memberi pengalaman dan keterampilan bagi pelajar IPNU-IPPNU dan remaja Desa Sentul tentang pemanfaatan limbah rumah tangga menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomi lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Insects are animals with jointed legs that are often found in many places with various types. This is because insects have a very high level of adaptation, for example those found in the Taman Jangkar in Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to describe the diversity of insects in the Taman Jangkararea and to compare the number of members of each insect order in the Taman Jangkar area. The method used in this research task is observation, which is to go directly to the field to capture insects around Taman Jangkar Surabaya with 4 repetitions in each plot, then collect data for identification. Based on the results of observations, collection, and identification, it can be obtained that there are various insects in the area. This is evidenced by the discovery of various orders of insecta, including: order Lepidoptera, order Odonata, order Hymenoptera, order Diptera, and order Orthoptera. Comparison of the number of species from each order is different. The most dominant number of species is in the order Lepidoptera which is then followed by the order Hymenoptera

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the characteristics and number of microbes that grow in the gastrointestinal tract of catfish and to determine the potential of microbes as probiotics. The type of this research was observational conducted on 30 September-15October 2018 at the Microbiology Laboratory, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya. Microbial isolation using Nutrient Agar (NA), Mann de Roosa Shrape agar (MRSA) and potato dextrose agar (PDA) media. The fish that used is catfish that are bred in ponds at Desa Tlasih, Kecamatan Tulangan, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, East Java. The identification includes microscopic and macroscopic characteristics. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there are 8 kinds of bacterial colonies in NA media, on PDA media there are 8 kinds of fungi, and on MRSA media there are 2 bacterial colonies and each has different macroscopic and microscopic characteristics. The total number of bacteria growing in NA and MRSA media respectively were 8.7 x 104 CFU/g and 1.2 x 105 CFU/g. It is suspected that there are potential bacteria as beneficial probiotics for catfish which still need further research.

Abstract

Desa Banjarsari merupalam desa yang berada di Kecamatan Bandarkedungmulyo Kabupaten Jombang dengan hasil pertanian buah semangka dan melon sebagai komoditi utama. Pemanfaatan dan pengolahan buah semangka dan melon masih terbatas. Untuk itu, kegiatan edukasi dan pelatihan pembuatan yoghurt buah perlu dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan peluangg usaha warga Desa Banjarsari berbasis komoditi lokal. Kegiatan ini merupakan kerjasama antara dosen dan mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang dengan warga Desa Banjarsari. Metode yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini adalah tahap edukasi dan sosialisasi produk yoghurt buah, proses pembuatan yoghurt buah, proses pengemasan dan uji organoleptik dan yoghurt buah yang dihasilkan. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan pada Tanggal 13-15 November 2022 di Laboratorium Terpadu, Universitas KH.A, Wahab Hasbullah Jombang. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini, warga Desa Banjarsari memiliki kemampuan baru dalam memanfaatkan buah semangka dan melon sebagai komoditi lokal untuk diolah menjadi yoghurt buah yang kaya akan manfaat dan mampu menjadikan produk ini sebagai peluang bisnis yang menjanjikan.

Abstract

Rice washing water is household waste that is often wasted and is no longer used, even though rice washing water still contains nutrients in the form of vitamins A, C, B1, carbohydrates, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, nitrogen and iron. Vitamin B1 (thiamin) dissolves in water when washing rice. Vitamin B1 contained in the water used to wash rice has a role in metabolism. The nutritional content in rice washing water can be used to support the growth and development of chili plants. In this study, rice washing water was used as liquid fertilizer for chili plants. The research design was a completely randomized design with the holding variable being the concentration of rice washing water (0%, 25%, 50% 75% and 100%) with 3 repetitions each. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS Anava followed by Duncan's test. The results showed that the concentration of rice washing water at 100% was the treatment that had the best effect on the growth of chili plants (Capsicum frutescens).
