Abstract

Siliwangi University as an educational institution that has one of the responsibilities of community service, Siliwangi University conducts Thematic Work Lecture (KKN) activities in the context of community empowerment through the introduction of the concept of entrepreneurship in several areas of Tasikmalaya Regency, one of them in Dirgahayu Village, Kadipaten District is a village which is located in a mountainous area which has 6 hamlets namely Trowek, Palumbungan, Cijotang, Cipeusing, Cilongkeang and Gekbrong. The focus that we take in Dirgahayu Village is to foster community interest in entrepreneurship, in Dirgahayu village itself there are already a few people who have started entrepreneurship, it's just that the community is still lacking in innovation or utilization of local resources in the village. This is due to the lack of good technology utilization. This service uses counseling method which was attended by 30 people of Dirgahayu Village, especially Youth Organization and PKK ladies. Aiming to provide knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship by utilizing local resources. The results of this activity are processed cassava products in the form of chips with seblak flavored innovation, however there is still a need to improve product design for product packaging to make it more attractive.

Abstract

Abstrak: Batik merupakan salah satu ciri khas daerah Tasikmalaya dimana batik sendiri sebagai warisan budaya Indonesia. Keanekaragaman motif batik dalam budaya Indonesia berasal dari daerah-daerah yang ada di Indonesia yang tentunya tiap daerah mempunyai corak batik yang khas. Begitupula dengan batik Tasikmalaya yang memiliki ciri khas tersendiri, secara umum terdiri atas tiga karakter utama yaitu batik sukapura, sawoan dan tasikan. Namun demikian batik tasikmalaya masih kalah pamor dibandingkan dengan batik asal Solo dan Pekalongan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan sebagai salah satu sarana pemasaran produk dan perluasan pasar domestik serta kesempatan mempromosikan karya-karya binaan UMKM khususnya batik di ajang pameran pada acara Pameran Pasar Keuangan Rakyat di Pangandaran Abstract: Batik is one of the characteristics of the Tasikmalaya region where batik itself is a cultural heritage of Indonesia. The diversity of batik motifs in Indonesian culture comes from regions in Indonesia, which of course each region has a unique batik style. Likewise with Tasikmalaya batik which has its own characteristics, in general consists of three main characters namely sukapura batik, sawoan and tasikan. However, tasikmalaya batik is still less prestige compared to batik from Solo and Pekalongan. This activity aims as a means of product marketing and expansion of the domestic market as well as an opportunity to promote the works of SMEs, especially batik, at the exhibition at the People's Financial Market Exhibition in Pangandaran

Abstract

Abstrak: Untuk mengenalkan investasi khususnya pasar modal pada kalangan investor muda dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, dalam hal ini penulis melakukan pengabdian pada masyarakat untuk mengenalkan investasi di pasar modal melalui literasi dalam kelas yang dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Siliwangi sebanyak 120 orang. Harapannya diadakan literasi pasar modal dalam kelas ini adalah para mahasiswa yang merupakan generasi muda dapat memahami tentang investasi di pasar modal serta mengubah paradigma tentang investasi hanyalah sekedar menabung namun juga ada investasi lain selain menabung serta mengubah anggapan menabung menjadi investasi dan mulai bergerak dari saving society menjadi investing society. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah kuliah umum dalam kelas dan simulasi online trading Relitrade yang diisi oleh praktisi pasar modal dari PT. Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia, Tbk Kantor Perwakilan Tasikmalaya. Output yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini adalah sudah adanya ketertarikan dari mahasiswa untuk memulai menjadi investor pemula yang mana hal ini ditandai dengan adanya mahasiswa yang mulai mencoba bertanya bahkan mendaftar untuk membuka rekening saham.Abstract: To introduce investment, especially the capital market, to young investors can be done in various ways, in this case the authors devote to the community to introduce investment in the capital market through literacy in classes conducted at the Faculty of Economics, Siliwangi University students as many as 120 people. It is hoped that capital market literacy will be held in this class. Students who are young people can understand about investing in the capital market and change the paradigm of investment to save money, but there are also other investments besides saving and change the notion of saving into investment and start moving from saving society to investing society. The method used in this activity is a public lecture in class and an online trading simulation Relitrade filled by capital market practitioners from PT. Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia, Tbk Tasikmalaya Representative Office. The output generated from this activity is that there is already an interest from students to start becoming a novice investor which is marked by the students who start trying to ask questions and even register to open a stock account.
