Abstract

Introduction: Writing is the skill of expressing ideas, feelings, and thoughts arranged in words, sentences, and paragraphs. Writing skills are related to the ability to arrange graphics such as letters, words and certain language sentences used in written communication so that readers can understand messages or information. Objectives purpose of this research is to improve students' writing skills using Instagram in explanatory text. This research is a classroom action research which includes several stages. Namely reconnaissance, planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 23 second semester students (class A) English Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Metro Methods This research was conducted in two cycles and obtained qualitative and quantitative data. The data collection instruments were observation checklists, interview guidelines, and writing tests. Data in the form of field notes, interview transcripts, observation checklists, and scores. Results The results showed that the use of Instagram in the teaching and learning process significantly improved students' writing skills. Students can develop their ideas to produce explanatory texts. Based on quantitative data, the average score of students' writing skills increased. In the pre-test, the students' mean score was 50.82. Then, after Cycle 1 (post-test 1), the students' mean score from post-test 1 was 62.26. Finally, after Cycle 2 (post-test 2), the average score of students on post-test 2 was 76.08. Conclusion conclusion, the use of Instagram can significantly improve students' writing skills.

Abstract

Social assistance for the community is the main task and mission of the government to improve the welfare of the nation and state. Therefore, the government continues to innovate about social assistance in the community, especially in Gumukrejo Village. In running the social assistance program, the local government and Gumukrejo Village work together to minimize the distribution of assistance that is not on target. This research was motivated when the author conducted observations and interviewed one of the Gumukrejo Village staff, it was concluded that the lack of knowledge of residents about the conditions for providing assistance and the absence of definite criteria from Gumukrejo Village when providing assistance, therefore, a decision support system was needed to assist village staff in determining recipients of social assistance, a Decision Support System application was made about Determining recipients of social assistance based on 4 criteria. Namely Income, Marital Status, Number of dependents, and age. The decision support system method used is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. Where the results of this decision support system are in the form of ranking prospective recipients of social assistance according to the final value of the results obtained. With the creation of this social assistance recipient decision support system, it is hoped that it will be able to facilitate the distribution of aid recipients in Gumukrejo Village and in other villages.

Abstract

GoGezit adalah sebuah aplikasi yang dibuat oleh anak daerah Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, berfungsi untuk membantu mengembangkan UMKM dengan tujuan melayani kebutuhan keseharian masyarakat serta membuka peluang pekerjaan. Dalam meningkatkan performanya agar tetap unggul perlu meningkatkan user experience yang berpengaruh terhadap perilaku penggunanya. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang akan digunakan adalah user experience questionnaire (UEQ) dengan menggunakan 6 skala pengukuran pengalaman pengguna untuk menentukan masalah yang dihadapi oleh pengguna saat menggunakan aplikasi GoGezit. Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk menganalisis user experience aplikasi GoGezit menggunakan user experience questionnaire (UEQ). Hasil pengukuran pengalaman pengguna skala daya tarik 1.73, kejelasan 2.00, ketepatan 1.58, stimulasi 1.39, kebaruan 0.27. Kemudian hasil kualitas dengan nilai attractiveness 1.73, pragmatic quality 1.75, hedonic quality 0,83. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa aplikasi GoGezit memperoleh impresi positif namun untuk skala kebaruan perlu ditingkatkan lagi untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih baik lagi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanannya seperti membuat aplikasi GoGezit semakin terdepan dibandingkan produk serupa dan selalu melakukan inovasi atau perubahan dalam mengembangkan produk.

Abstract

Aplikasi media pembelajaran berbasis android sangat dibutuhkan dalam bidang pendidikan, karena tuntutan perkembangan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan yang mendorong upaya pemanfaatan hasil teknologi pendidikan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Pengenalan angka pada anak usia dini memerlukan perantara berupa media pembelajaran, agar anak dapat berkonsentrasi lebih lama dan dapat mengalihkan perhatian anak yang mudah bosan. Dengan dibuatnya aplikasi media pembelajaran pengenalan angka untuk anak usia dini di RA Nurul Hasanah Purwodadi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak usia dini di RA Nurul Hasanah dalam mengenal angka dan berhitung serta meningkatkan hasil belajar dan pemahaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) dengan proses pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, studi literatur. Sumber data diperoleh melalui data primer dan sekunder yang dilakukan saat melakukan penelitian di RA Nurul Hasanah Purwodadi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan banyak tahapan seperti menganalisis dan mengorganisir materi, melakukan desain, dan mengimplementasikan aplikasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa penelitian ini mengembangkan media aplikasi pembelajaran pengenalan angka berbasis android untuk anak usia dini di RA Nurul Hasanah Purwodadi.

Abstract

Developments have opened the door to teaching without geographic boundaries, allowing students to access learning materials from anywhere, even in remote areas. This impacts demands for adaptation of teaching strategies and encourages the development of professionalism in lecturers who not only master technological aspects but also comprehensively understand the dynamics of distance education. Educational technology is essential in changing and improving education in this digital era. This research aims to identify strategies for developing lecturer professionalism in facing distance education challenges in the digital era. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques include interviews and observations of lecturer and student respondents at Al-Ihya Kuningan Islamic University—research results from strategies for developing professionalism in facing educational challenges in the digital era. To be more effective, you can apply several methods: mastery of technology and digital platforms, development of relevant and interactive learning materials, effective online communication skills, and time management skills. By implementing this strategy, lecturers can develop professionalism in facing distance education challenges in the digital era to provide a quality learning experience for students.
