Abstract

High rates of high-risk pregnancies, neonatal deaths and developmental disorders are health problems that must be prevented. Special stimulation and touch fetal stimulation is a natural way that can be done to prevent death and prevent fetal development. This action secretes receptors and the central nervous system to secrete endorphins and increase circulation for increased movement and heart rate for the dynamic balance of the pacemaker. The aim of the study was to prove the difference between speech stimulation, touch and combination in increasing fetal heart rate and movement. The study design was a quasi experimental pre-test and post-test with three intervention groups, namely the stimulation group of speech, touch and combination with 10 respondents in each group. The analysis was done by one way ANOVA. The results of one method showed no significant difference in effectiveness between the three types of stimulation. The conclusion of the study is that stimulation of speech, touch and combination are equally effective in increasing fetal heart rate and movement. This study discusses the stimulation of conversation, touch and combination that is carried out as an independent intervention of normal pregnant women and high risk in maintaining and improving fetal well-being.

Abstract

Labor pain is a unique and subjective experience, where each individual has a different response. Non-pharmacological pain management methods include pain management, namely hypnobirthing and murrotal. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hypnobirthing and murrotal therapy on the intensity of active fisrt stage of labor pain in primigravida at Singadaru and Banten Girang Health Center, Serang City, Banten Province. The research design used a quasy experimental approach without control group. The total sample in this study were 25 women giving birth. The data collection tool used was the pain scale VAS & NRS. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, using the Wilcoxon statistical test to compare data before and after the intervention. The results showed that there were differences in the average pain intensity before and after hypnobirthing intervention was given (p value = 0.010, ∆ = 1.5). There is a difference in the mean intensity of labor pain in primigravida before and after given murrotal intervention (p value = 0.014, ∆ = 1.5). The difference in the average intensity of labor pain before and after giving hypnobirthing and murrotal intervention (p value = 0.006, ∆ = 2). The conclusion from the results of the three interventions given were all significant, but the difference between pain intensity and high value was found in murrotal and hypnobithing interventions. The combination of hypnobirthing and murrotal recommendations can be used as an alternative to distract labor pain, and increased belief in god

Abstract

Perimenopause is an important phase in a woman's life characterized by extensive hormonal changes as the ovaries gradually lose their function. During this period, the body experiences significant hormonal fluctuations, particularly a decrease in estrogen and progesterone production, which can cause various physical discomforts such as fatigue. One way to overcome fatigue is through low-impact exercise. This exercise is a light, safe activity that can improve physical fitness and enhance the body's endurance, thereby potentially reducing fatigue levels in perimenopausal women. This study used a descriptive method with a case study approach conducted on two perimenopausal women, Mrs. T and Mrs. N. The results of the nursing care showed that after six sessions of low-impact exercise over two weeks, the fatigue levels of both respondents decreased, as evidenced by their Fatigue Assessment Scale (FAS) scores. Mrs. S's FAS score decreased from 28 to 23, while Mrs. N's decreased from 30 to 27. The symptoms experienced by Mrs. T decreased on the third day and further decreased on the sixth day. For Mrs. N, symptoms decreased on the third day and further decreased on the fifth day. The results of this study indicate that low-impact exercise is effective as an intervention for fatigue issues in perimenopausal women.
