Abstract

The coastal area is a space for humans to do activities. The area is a place for the community to carry out various sports and other physical activities. Every sport activity carried out regularly will affect the level of physical fitness. This study aims to determine the acceptance response of the physical fitness visual board and the effectiveness of the physical fitness visual board to determine the physical fitness level of the community. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The sample in this study was Batulicin coastal community as many as 50 people. In collecting data in this study, a survey method with test techniques was conducted. To determine the fitness level, the test used was the 2.4 km running test. To find out the public response to the use of physical fitness visual boards, questionnaires were distributed. The results of this study showed that the body mass index (BMI) was included in the ideal body category of 58%, the category of body fat was 16%, and the category of the thin body was 26%. The levels of physical fitness of the coastal community are 40% in good category, 40% in acceptable category, 16% in poor category, 2% for each very good category and very poor category. The acceptance response to the physical fitness visual board is in the very good category. A sample as much as 94% said it was very good. The effectiveness of using the physical fitness visual board to determine the level of physical fitness of the community is in the very good category. A sample of 94% stated very well.

Abstract

Tennis athletes really need to master the forehand stroke well. A quality forehand technique will give athletes high confidence to be able to play tennis wellThis study aims to determine the effect of drill and elementary exercises in improving the forehand hitting ability of JPOK tennis athletes. The research method used is experimental. The study was conducted as many as 16 times the exercise. The subjects in this study were JPOK student tennis athletes, totaling 16 people. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The research instrument used was the Hewitt tennis achievement test to determine the forehand ability. Analysis of research data using t-score analysis to test the difference in the pre-test and post-test scores. The level of validation value is 0.63 and the level of reliability value is 0.75. The results of this study that both drill and elementary training methods can improve the forehand hitting ability of JPOK tennis athletes. The results of data analysis, drill exercises obtained t-count is greater than t-table 17.60 > 2.365. Forehand only effect, t-count is greater than t-table 8.05 > 2.365. Drill and elementary training methods can be used as exercises to improve tennis athletes' forehand skills. Drill training is known to have more effect on tennis forehand ability

Abstract

Diving is a water sport that has developed into an achievement sport. The development of diving in South Kalimantan began to develop from the level of educational institutions to government institutions. The condition of the South Kalimantan region which has most of the water area, both in the form of rivers, swamps, beaches, and lakes, makes diving quite attractive and developed into a sport of achievement and the field of SAR. This study aims to evaluate the development of diving sports achievement in South Kalimantan. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The evaluation approach used with the CIPP model includes a discussion of the Context, Input, Process, and Product of the ongoing diving coaching process. Data collection techniques by conducting interviews, observations and documentation studies. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively with the following steps: 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) drawing conclusions. The results showed that 1) the evaluation of the context was in accordance with the coaching program, 2) the evaluation of the inputs was not in accordance with the coaching program. 3) process evaluation is not in accordance with the established criteria 4) product evaluation is appropriate but performance still needs to be improved.

Abstract

Pickleball is a new sport. In South Kalimantan there are IPF management in 10 Regencies and Cities. The task of each management is to increase interest in pickleball participation at the regional level and explore the potential of talented athletes. The IPF management as a whole has not been active in socializing pickleball in the general public. We only meet this sport quite actively in a few areas. The aim of this study . This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The variable studied in this study is the development of community interest in pickleball. Data collection techniques using instruments in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The population and sample of this study are all branch management at the city and district levels in South Kalimantan. The sampling technique used is total sampling. This study used an instrument with a Likert scale with 5 answer choices. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics. The results of this study showed that from the intrinsic elements there were as many as 37.8% strongly agree and 34.9% agreed stating that the success of pickleball to be able to develop must come from one's own will first. There are extrinsic elements as much as 22.7% strongly agree and 24.8% agree that for the success of pickleball to be able to develop there must be support from outsiders themselves.

Abstract

Diving is a sport that requires skill, courage and agility in jumping from a great height into water. Teluk Dalam District is an area that has facilities and infrastructure for diving practiceApart from that, in this area, especially around the river, you can find many children happily playing in the river, such as swimming, diving, jumping from higher places and so on. The aim of this research is to determine the potential of diving in society Teluk Dalam District Banjarmasin City. This research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach. Data was obtained from tests using the sport search method. The population of this study were elementary school students in Teluk Dalam District. The results of this research were that 21 students or 10.0% had an interest in the first choice of diving, and 10 students or 4.8% were identified as having potential talent. In the second choice there were 20 students or 9.6% and 7 students or 3.3% were identified as having potential talent.
