Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of learning physical education (Penjas) on the formation of student character in social emotional learning. The ultimate goal of learning physical education is overall personality development, both physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. These aspects are carried out systematically, through participation in physical activity based on health and social norms (values, behavior, fair play, etc.). The method used in this study is an experimental method that will be carried out on UPI LabSchool Junior High School students. The instrument that will be used in this research is a social emotional competence instrument that will assess the student's character in terms of self-management, self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making. The data will be analyzed through inferential statistics using a comparison test of two averages. There are three outcomes in this research, including 1) Articles published in national journals, 2) Articles contained in international conference proceedings, 3) Intellectual Property Rights. There are two students involved in this research.

Abstract

Most elderly people in Indonesia experience physical and psychological health problems, with the percentage of those who are sick around 48.14%. Health problems, low income, and difficulties in daily activities are some of the factors that can influence their life satisfaction. The aim of this research is to analyze the life satisfaction of elderly people based on the sports activities they participate in, namely gateball, golf, gymnastics, fitness activities, and tennis. The research method used by researchers is the explanatory survey or descriptive survey method. An explanatory survey is a type of survey that is useful in comparing variables by testing hypotheses and samples obtained from a population. The subjects and locations that will be studied by researchers are the sports community of elderly people in the city of Bandung. As many as 74 respondents are active members of the sports community of elderly people in Bandung City. The results of the analysis show that there are differences in parents' life satisfaction based on the sport they do. The average score of respondents who played golf showed the highest life satisfaction. then tennis, aerobics, fitness sports, and gateball. Physical activity for older people is good for health and quality of life; therefore, exercise programs for older adults should focus on maintaining functional capacity and quality of life with lower intensity, frequency, and duration.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of biomechanical principles in three basic basketball skills, namely shooting, passing, and dribbling. Biomechanics as a branch of science that studies human body movement provides important insights into how players can improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in performing these movements. This study uses a literature approach to review various relevant previous studies. The findings show that in shooting, the optimal ball release angle ranges from 45–55 degrees with the support of strength from the elbow extensor and wrist flexor muscles. Body stability, especially core muscles, also contributes greatly to shooting accuracy, especially in techniques such as jump shots and fadeaways. In passing, biomechanics highlights the importance of coordination between shoulder, arm, and hand muscles to produce fast and accurate passes. Variations in passing techniques, such as chest pass, bounce pass, and overhead pass, require different angle and strength settings to ensure effectiveness in the game. Meanwhile, in dribbling, the angle of the hand push, ball speed, and rhythm are key factors in maintaining ball control. Effective dribbling also requires coordination between the eyes, hands, and feet, as well as body stability to support rapid changes of direction without losing control of the ball. Further discussion highlights how the application of biomechanics in training can help players gain a deeper understanding of their movements, reduce the risk of injury, and improve overall performance. This study provides a strong theoretical contribution to the development of biomechanics-based basketball training strategies. By integrating these findings into training programs, coaches and players can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their game, creating more competitive players at both the amateur and professional levels. This study also encourages further exploration of the application of biomechanics to other aspects of sports to expand the understanding and impact of biomechanics in the world of sport.

Abstract

This study confirms that awards can increase athlete motivation if given with the right approach, such as informative feedback and an environment that supports athlete autonomy. With an effective policy, it is hoped that sports achievements in Bogor Regency can continue to increase, while also providing inspiration for other regions in designing similar policies. Analyzing the influence of budget and implementation on the effectiveness of the policy of awarding young athletes in Bogor Regency. Achievement sports are types that rely on skills to achieve certain targets, with a foundation of science and innovation in sports technology. To achieve optimal performance, an athlete must go through an intensive and focused training process. Without structured training, athletes will not be able to hone the skills needed to achieve their goals. Therefore, proper training management from an early age is very important in developing sports talent. The results of the study showed that partially, the budget variable had a significant effect on the policy with a significance value of 0.018 (p <0.05), while the implementation variable did not have a statistically significant effect. However, simultaneously, the budget and implementation together had a significant effect on the effectiveness of the policy

Abstract

The smooth learning of sports and health physical education is inseparable from the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure. The existence of adequate facilities and infrastructure will reflect the quality of education, so that the goals of sports and health physical education will be achieved properly. But on the contrary, inadequate facilities and infrastructure will have an impact on the low quality of education, even the curriculum will not work. The method used is descriptive method. This research begins with observations made in schools. Data collection was carried out by giving questionnaires to predetermined respondents. The findings of this study mean the value of infrastructure utilization for the first respondent is 3.83, the second respondent is 3.60, and the third respondent is 3.80 with a standard deviation for the first respondent 1.58, the second respondent is 1.52 and the third respondent is 1.42. The result of the homogeneity test for the significance number is 0.642, meaning that H1 is acceptable and the data comes from a homogeneous population. The normality test results with a significance value of 0.00 means that H0 is rejected and the data has an abnormal distribution. The results of the hypothesis test using the Kruskal Wallis test with a significance number of 0.684 means that H1 is acceptable and there are significant differences in the ability of teachers to use physical education facilities and infrastructure. Based on the calculation data using the Tuckey test, respondents 1 and 2 have an average difference of 0.233 with a presentation of 23%, respondents 1 and 3 have an average difference of 0.33 with a presentation of 33%, and respondents 2 and 3 have an average of -0, 2 with a presentation - 20% has a P value. The value of respondents 1 and 2 is .821, respondents 1 and 3 are .996, and respondents 2 and 3 are .865 make all the data have a significant difference.
