Abstract

Physical education teachers are required to be creative in carrying out learning, especially if there are problems with sports facilities and infrastructure in schools. The learning model must be adaptive, especially to the limited facilities and infrastructure of physical education. In addition, the implementation of physical education learning, most of which still uses the drill method, cannot be used in physical education learning, especially if the facilities and infrastructure owned are limited, because it will create boredom in students because of the time waiting for their turn to do motion tasks. This article aims to determine the value of the content validity index (CVI) from development research to create a learning model for the basic skills of basketball passing for students which are expected to be a solution to the problems. The learning model that will be developed later is a learning model using traditional play and sports approaches. CVI was developed by education experts and has been widely used in sharing research to determine the validity of the content. Three experts consisting of education, basketball, and learning experts were asked to evaluate the development of a learning model for basic basketball passing skills. The results of expert validation on the development of a learning model of basketball passing basic skills obtained i-CVI was 0.867 and the average proportion of items considered relevant in the three experts was 0.8; 0.8; and 0.93. The conclusion of this study is the production of products that are declared valid and can be continued at the trial stage using learning materials for traditional games of Orekan, bentengan games, and cat and mouse games.  The implementation of this research is expected to be used by teachers in learning so that it is expected to improve basketball learning outcomes, especially the passing skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat aktivitas fisik mahasiswa pada saat mengikuti perkuliahan jarak jauh selama pandemi Covid-19 dan korelasi antara aktivitas fisik dan indeks massa tubuh (IMT). Metode survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner Sort-Form of International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ-SF) yang dibagikan secara online untuk menilai tingkat aktivitas fisik dan pengeluaran energi berdasarkan Metabolic Equivalents of Task (MET), dan IMT dihitung menggunakan rumus massa tubuh dibagi kuadrat tinggi badan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi, FKIP, Universitas Sriwijaya sebanyak 246 mahasiswa (L: 163; P: 83). Untuk IMT, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 44 (17,89%) mahasiswa berada pada kategori underweight, 182 (73,98%) mahasiswa berada pada kategori normal, 19 (7,72%) mahasiswa berada pada kategori overweight, dan 1 (0,41%) mahasiswa yang berada pada kategori obesitas. Sedangkan untuk hasil tingkat aktivitas fisik menunjukkan 13 (5,28%) mahasiswa berada pada kategori rendah, 49 (19,92%) mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang, dan 184 (74,80%) mahasiswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah, level aktivitas fisik calon guru pendidikan jasmani masuk pada kategori tinggi, meskipun juga ditemukan ada beberapa subjek penelitian yang mempunyai kategori rendah aktivitas fisiknya. Dan juga hanya ada satu subjek penelitian yang masuk pada kategori obesitas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the intensive interval training method on sprint speed in the extracurricular activities of Atap Indralaya 4 Public Junior High School. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research using a design in the form of a pretest posttest one group design. With the independent variable in the form of intensive interval training and the dependent variable is the result of sprint running speed. The population used in this study amounted to 67 people and the research sample was 30 students using random sampling. The instrument used is a 60 meter sprint test. The treatment given to students is intensive interval training, the frequency is carried out 3 times a week and it is carried out for 6 consecutive weeks. In the data analysis and research results using the t-test statistic, a significant level ? = 0.05 obtained tcount (26.88) while ttable (1.701) then tcount > ttable so that the hypothesis can be accepted, that using the intensive interval training method can increase the results of running speed student sprints in extracurricular activities at Atap Indralaya Middle School 4.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan permainan tradisional terhadap hasil belajar lari cepat 100 meter SMP Azzawiyah Tanjung Batu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasy eksperiment dengan rancangan pretest-posttest one group design. Pemberian perlakuan dalam proses pembelajaran adalah permainan tradisional yang terdiri dari bentengan, imbangan, ubaran, sepak tekong, dan polisi abri.  Sedangkan hasil belajar yang diukur adalah hasil lari cepat 100 meter. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 7 yang bersekolah di SMP Azzawiyah. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes lari cepat 100 meter.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini bahwa penerapan permainan tradisional berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar lari cepat 100 meter. Hal tersebut dibuktikan berdasarkan hasil nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05.  Dengan demikian hasil yang diperoleh Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan permainan tradisional terhadap hasil belajar lari cepat 100 meter SMP Azzawiyah Tanjung Batu. Permainan tradisional dapat digunakan dalam mengajar materi lari cepat. Pedoman penerapan permainan tradisional untuk materi pendidikan jasmani dapat mempermudah guru dalam memanfaatkan permainan tersebut dalam aktivitas belajar mengajar.
