Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak melalui permainan edukatif di TK GMIM Kasih Ibu Pinaras. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari Siklus I dan Siklus II, yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 17 anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak selama proses pembelajaran, dengan pencapaian Siklus I hanya 62,3% dan Siklus II mencapai 90,2%.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) find out and describe the leadership model of the head of the Manado city ministry of religion in improving employee performance 2) find out and describe the inhibiting factors of the leadership model of the head of the Manado city ministry of religion in improving employee performance 3) find out and describe the inhibiting factors of the leadership model Head of Manado City Ministry of Religion office in improving employee performance. The research approach used is qualitative research with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research analysis found that the leadership model implemented by the head of the Manado City Ministry of Religion office was transformational leadership. However, this leadership model is still weak so that the provision of motivation and encouragement to employees is not optimal which also results in employee performance not being carried out well, for example being late for work, employees who are inconsistent with their working hours schedule, facilities that are still inadequate, supervisory supervision in management of infrastructure is not yet optimal. 2). Factors inhibiting the transformational leadership of the head of office in improving employee performance at the Office of the Ministry of Religion, Manado City. Employees often cover themselves when there are problems, employees are less optimistic in carrying out their work, less confident in solving the problems they face. 3). Supporting factors in the transformational leadership of the head of office in improving employee performance at the Office of the Ministry of Religion, Manado City, namely having an enthusiastic nature, good cooperation between employees, and caring about work. This can be seen from attendance, discipline, work motivation, and work commitment.

Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to examine the interaction effect between instructional strategies and levels of intelligence on students' mathematics learning oucomes at SMP Kristen GMIM Tomohon. The strategies compared included faith-integrated learning and conventional instruction, while students' intelligence levels were categorized as high or low. Method: A quantitative approach with a 2x2 factorial experimental design (treatment by level) was employed. A total of 42 students were assigned to either the experimental (faith-integrated) or control (conventional) group. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA with SPSS version 29. Results: The findings revealed a significant interaction between instructional strategies and intelligence levels on mathematics learning oucomes (significance = 0.009 < 0.05). This indicates that instructional effectiveness is influenced by students' intellectual capacities, highlighting the need to align teaching methods with learners' characteristics. Novelty: This study uniquely examines the interaction between faith-integrated instruction and students’ intelligence levels in mathematics learning. It also introduces “thinking in the heart”, a reflective faith-based approach that links mathematical understanding with spiritual values to foster holistic learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to describe how the education and religion of the millennial generation elders in the Tomohon 3 region, describe what causes the election of the millennial generation elders in the Tomohon 3 region with regard to their education and religion. The data in this study were observed and collected through interviews with elders and millennial generation members, after which they were analyzed. It was found that the education of the elders of the millennial generation in the Tomohon 3 region was stratum 1 and stratum 2 and their religion was accustomed to being active in both worship, seminar and leadership training activities within the church. The election of millennial generation elders is due to the idea that when they have good education and religion, they can carry out their duties as elders well too. For this reason, elders can carry out their responsibilities properly with the support of existing members.

Abstract

Christian education in Indonesia is experiencing an epistemological crisis that separates faith from reason, causing learning to fall into dualism between scientistic objectivism and sentimental affective pietism. This research aims to construct an integrative Christian education pedagogy based on a dialogical synthesis of the thought of Parker J. Palmer and Thomas H. Groome. The method employed is a qualitative literature study with a dialogical-constructive approach to both figures’ primary works, supplemented by Indonesian-language secondary literature on contextual Christian religious education. The findings show that Palmer’s epistemology of love, rooted in the knower-known relation as an act of faith, engages in complementary ways with Groome’s praxis of faith through the five movements of shared Christian praxis, producing a pedagogical framework with three axes: relationality, reflexivity, and transformation. This construction offers a middle way for Indonesian Christian education to transcend the Enlightenment-inherited faith-reason dichotomy while serving as a contextual proposal for forming holistic learners that integrates cognitive, affective, conative, and spiritual dimensions into a unified reflective pedagogy rooted in the fides quaerens intellectum tradition.   Abstrak Pendidikan Kristiani di Indonesia saat ini mengalami krisis epistemologis yang memisahkan iman dari akal budi, sehingga proses pembelajaran kerap jatuh pada dualisme antara objektivisme saintifik di satu sisi dan pietisme afektif yang sentimental di sisi lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengonstruksi pedagogi Pendidikan Kristiani yang integratif berbasis sintesis dialogis pemikiran Parker J. Palmer dan Thomas H. Groome. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka kualitatif dengan pendekatan dialogis-konstruktif terhadap karya primer kedua tokoh, dilengkapi dengan tinjauan kritis terhadap literatur sekunder berbahasa Indonesia bertema Pendidikan Agama Kristen kontekstual. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa epistemologi cinta Palmer yang berakar pada relasi knower-known sebagai tindakan iman dapat berdialog secara komplementer dengan praksis iman Groome melalui lima gerakan shared Christian praxis, sehingga melahirkan kerangka pedagogis tiga aksis: relasionalitas, refleksivitas, dan transformasi. Konstruksi pedagogis ini menawarkan jalan tengah bagi Pendidikan Kristiani Indonesia melampaui dikotomi iman-akal warisan Pencerahan, sekaligus menjadi tawaran kontekstual bagi pembentukan peserta didik holistik yang mengintegrasikan dimensi kognitif, afektif, konatif, dan spiritual dalam satu kesatuan pedagogi reflektif yang berakar pada tradisi fides quaerens intellectum.
