Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan sebuah kajian teori tentang pentingnya proses evaluasi pembelajaran. Evaluasi merupakan kegiatan yang penting dilakukan oleh pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan evaluasi pendidik dapat meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam pengelolaan kelas baik dalam pemilihan metode pebelajaran, media, bahan ajar, dan lain sebagainya yang dapat memotivasi peserta didik untuk belajar. Selain itu dengan evaluasi pendidik dapat mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan peserta didiknya. Oleh karena itu pendidik harus melakukan kegiatan evaluasi dengan benar. Namun, kenyataannya masih banyak pendidik yang belum melaksanakan proses evaluasi dengan baik khusunya di sekolah dasar. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan yang dimiliki pendidik tentang evaluasi itu sendiri. Sehingga diperlukan pengetahuan tentang konsep, peranan evaluasi hingga tata cara pelaksanaan evaluasi agar memperoleh hasil evaluasi yang dapat menggambarkan keadaan peserta didik sesungguhnya.

Abstract

 This research is motivated by the low cognitive activity of children in recognizing number symbols. This is caused by one-way learning, monotonous and uninteresting. The purpose of this study was to describe cognitive aspects of the ability to recognize number symbols using the Talking stick model and the Flannel Board media at the PERTIWI Anjir Pasar TK Children. The research used a qualitative approach and the type of classroom action research with research subjects 4 boys and 5 girls group B TK PERTIWI Anjir Pasar. The study was carried out in 4 meetings with the result showing that applying the combination of the Talking stick model and the Flannel Board media can increase teacher activity up to 97%, children's activities reach 100% and children's cognitive development result reach 100%. The result of this study can be used as an alternative in the selection of model in developing children's cognitive abilities. Keywords: Cognitive, Numbers, Talking Stick, Flannel Board

Abstract

Artikel ini memiliki fokus penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika materi pecahan berdasarkan objek kajian matematika serta faktor penyebabnya. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas III di SDN 1 Limboto Barat. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes soal cerita dan wawancara. Analisis data mengacu pada tahapan analisis data menurut Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika adalah kesulitan konsep, prinsip dan operasi. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan siswa kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika materi pecahan terbagi atas faktor internal yaitu kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi pecahan, tidak dapat menghitung dengan benar, tergesa-gesa dalam menyelesaikan soal dan faktor eksternal yaitu kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajarn, kurangnya pemberian contoh soal dan latihan soal berbentuk cerita yang diberikan guru pengajar serta banyaknya faktor-faktor yang menggangu konsentrasi siswa saat belajar dikelas.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation, innovative value, and benefits of academic extracurricular programs at MIT Al Ishlah Gorontalo, covering supplementary classes in Mathematics, Languages, Qur’anic Studies, and Digital Literacy. A descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that all aspects of the activities from planning and implementation to evaluation, were carried out very effectively. Innovation is evident in the use of digital media (interactive videos, Qur’anic recitation murottal applications, and online quizzes) and the adoption of student-centered active learning methods. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of digital literacy and Islamic education within academic extracurricular activities in a madrasah ibtidaiyah. Practically, the program can serve as an integrated instructional model that strengthens students’ academic, spiritual, and technological competencies. Theoretically, the study contributes to broadening the understanding of contextual pedagogical innovation at the primary level and provides a foundation for developing madrasah curricula grounded in digital integration and Islamic character.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the use of multifunctional board media can improve learning outcomes in the material of Least Common Multiples and Greatest Common Factors of grade IV SDN 21 Limboto, Gorontalo Regency. The subjects in this study were 1 class teacher and 26 grade IV students of SDN 21 LIMBOTO. The object of this study was the use of Musi Board Media to improve student learning outcomes in learning. Data collection techniques used were observation, tests and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of multifunctional board media can improve student learning outcomes. In cycle I, the percentage of classical student learning completion only reached 53.84%, while in cycle II it increased significantly to 92.30%. This shows that multifunctional board media is able to help students understand the concept of Least Common Multiples and Greatest Common Factors concretely through the activities of moving, grouping, and comparing numbers directly on the board. Student learning activities also increased in each cycle.

Abstract

Abstract: The environment can be a source of learning that is relevant to elementary school students according to their developmental stages. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of geoparks for education so far, to describe geopark opportunities as a learning resource in elementary schools, and to describe the challenges of geoparks as a learning resource in elementary schools. The research is based on a systematic method of literature review that refers to the PRISMA flow. Systematic literature review consists of identification, screening, and included steps. The reviewed articles went through the screening and study of the PRISMA pipeline with the Scopus database between 2020 until 2025. The results of the study show that there is a role that has been carried out by geoparks as a place that contains knowledge and values about sustainability, the potential of geoparks as a sustainability-based learning resource, and challenges as a learning resource in elementary schools with sustainability values that require regulatory certainty as a form of community involvement in preserving geoheritage heritage. The next recommendation is the potential for the development of teaching materials or a geopark-based learning model that can be carried out. Abstrak: Lingkungan dapat menjadi sumber pembelajaran yang relevan bagi siswa sekolah dasar sesuai dengan tahap perkembangannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan peran geopark dalam pendidikan hingga saat ini, mengidentifikasi potensi geopark sebagai sumber daya pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan geopark sebagai sumber daya pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada metode tinjauan pustaka sistematis yang mengacu pada alur PRISMA. Tinjauan pustaka sistematis terdiri dari tahap identifikasi, penyaringan, dan inklusi. Artikel-artikel yang ditinjau telah melalui proses penyaringan dan analisis menggunakan alur kerja PRISMA dengan basis data Scopus dari tahun 2020 hingga 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa geopark memiliki peran sebagai tempat yang menyimpan pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai tentang keberlanjutan, potensi geopark sebagai sumber belajar berbasis keberlanjutan, serta tantangan dalam penggunaannya sebagai sumber belajar di sekolah dasar yang mengedepankan nilai-nilai keberlanjutan; hal ini memerlukan kepastian regulasi sebagai bentuk keterlibatan masyarakat dalam melestarikan warisan geologi. Rekomendasi selanjutnya adalah potensi pengembangan bahan ajar atau model pembelajaran berbasis geopark yang dapat diimplementasikan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe PGMI students’ views on learning objectives, learning materials, and the relationship between the two within the perspective of humanistic education. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 40 PGMI students at IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a 24-item questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis with percentages. The findings showed that PGMI students’ views on learning objectives were in the very good category, with a percentage of 86.2%, while their views on learning materials were also in the very good category, with a percentage of 86.82%. In addition, PGMI students demonstrated a very good level of understanding regarding the relationship between learning objectives and learning materials within the perspective of humanistic education. These findings indicate that PGMI students have a very good understanding of the importance of learning objectives and learning materials that humanize learners.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of number flannel board media and its effect on improving understanding of number concepts among Grade I students at SDN 7 Limboto. It employs Classroom Action Research involving 18 students — 10 boys and 8 girls — together with the class teacher, during the academic year 2026. Data were analysed primarily based on the level of learning mastery achieved across successive stages of the research. Findings demonstrate that the number flannel board effectively supported better understanding of number concepts, shown through consistent improvement from pre‑cycle through Cycle I to Cycle II. Before intervention, learning completeness remained low at only 22.22%, meaning just 4 out of 18 students met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Following introduction of the media in Cycle I, results rose noticeably to 61.11%, with 11 students achieving mastery. Progress continued into Cycle II, where a more substantial increase brought completeness to 83.33%, representing 15 students who successfully reached the required standard. This upward trend confirms that concrete, visual tools such as the number flannel board are highly suitable and effective for helping early‑grade students grasp basic numerical concepts.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi matematika melibatkan kemampuan individu dalam menggunakan konsep, prosedur, dan fakta matematika untuk memahami, menginterpretasi, menganalisis, serta menerapkan pemikiran matematika dalam berbagai situasi kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi matematika mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) FITK IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, melibatkan tes dan wawancara terhadap tiga mahasiswa semester VI yang mewakili tingkat kemampuan literasi matematika yang berbeda: tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variasi signifikan dalam kemampuan literasi matematika antara ketiga mahasiswa tersebut. Mahasiswa dengan kemampuan tinggi menunjukkan performa yang baik dalam memahami, merumuskan, dan menyelesaikan masalah matematika, sementara mahasiswa dengan kemampuan sedang kekurangan dalam pelaksanaan rencana penyelesaian dan kesimpulan yang diambil, dan untuk mahasiswa dengan kemampuan rendah mengalami kesulitan dalam hampir semua aspek literasi matematika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan agar Prodi PGMI dapat mengimplementasikan program pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur dan intensif, khususnya bagi mahasiswa dengan kemampuan rendah. Program tersebut dapat meliputi pembelajaran tambahan, bimbingan, dan latihan yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan individu. Pendekatan pembelajaran yang aktif, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual juga dianjurkan guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika, sehingga mahasiswa dapat menjadi guru yang efektif dan mampu memberdayakan peserta didik dengan literasi matematika yang kuat.AbstractMathematical literacy skills involve an individual's ability to use mathematical concepts, procedures and facts to understand, interpret, analyze and apply mathematical thinking in various daily life situations. This research aims to describe the mathematical literacy abilities of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) FITK IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, involving tests and interviews with three sixth semester students who represented different levels of mathematical literacy ability: high, medium and low. The results showed significant variations in mathematical literacy abilities between the three students. Students with high ability show good performance in understanding, formulating and solving mathematical problems, while students with moderate ability lack in implementing the solution plan and conclusions drawn, and students with low ability experience difficulties in almost all aspects of mathematical literacy. Based on the research results, it is recommended that the PGMI Study Program can implement a more structured and intensive learning program, especially for students with low abilities. The program may include additional learning, mentoring, and training tailored to individual abilities. An active, collaborative and contextual learning approach is also recommended to improve understanding of mathematical concepts, so that students can become effective teachers and are able to empower students with strong mathematical literacy.
