Abstract

This research is done in order to find out the influence between folk tale and communication ability to the story telling ability of 2nd grade student in Bekasi. Based on the analysis of data,thus it can be concluded that (1) story telling ability student that is given modern fantasy tale is higher than story telling ability that is given traditional folk tale, (2) there is interaction between folk tale with communication ability through story telling ability 2nd grade students, (3) story telling ability student that have higher communication and given modern fantasy tale is higher than a group of student that is given traditional folk tale, (4) story telling ability student that have lower communication and given modern fantasi tale is same with a group of student that is given traditional folk tale. From some of the research findings implies (1) efforts of teachers in determining the method of developing the ability to tell the studentsin 2nd grade, (2) selection of tales for students which is suitable for their age and mail stone, (3) folk tales interaction and communication ability through story telling ability 2nd grade students.Keywords: tale’s communication skills, ability to tell

Abstract

Mathematics is the based of knowledge that children will find everyday. The application of this science was unconsciously do every day even when playing. However, in educational institutions, especially schools, learning math become a scourge that is very difficult. Thus, the study wasconducted aiming to obtain empirical data on the effect of manipulative toys of mathematics learning outcomes of children aged 6-7 years old. The method used in this study is to design experiments Randomized control group pretest-posttest. Data collection techniques using thetechniques of written test with objective form fields. After doing analysis of data, the conclusion there are differences in mathematics learning outcomes of children who are given manipulative toys and without manipulative toys. Thus, therefore to enhance the mathematical learning of children aged 6-7 years old, educators need to provide a means of manipulative play in the classroom. Then the material is delivered with a child involving the active use of tools such games.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the difference in manipulative movement ability between children given circuit and ball games. (2) Differences in the ability of manipulative movements of children given circuits and ball games with high social interaction, (3) Differences in the ability of manipulative movements of children given circuits and ball games with low social interaction, (4) Interactions between games and social interaction with manipulative movement ability. This research was conducted in Gorontalo City. A total sample are 48 children in grade B (age between 5-6 years) and using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The method in this research is the experiment and the design is factorial 2x2 treatment by level. Analysis of the research is  ANAVA (Analysis Varians) which was then followed by the Tuckey test. The results of the study: (1) There are differences in the ability of manipulative motion between children given circuit and ball play (2) There are differences in the ability of manipulative movements of children given circuits and ball games with high social interaction, (3) There are differences in the manipulative ability of children who are given circuit games and ball games with low social interaction, (4) There is an interaction between the game and social interaction with manipulative ability. Abstract

Abstrac: This study aims to find out how to apply discipline to early childhood without punishment. Because without realizing through penalty adults, parents or teachers have been accused of abuses against children. Interactive data analysis models Milles and Huberman. This scientific study conducted in January 2015 in the village of West Java Ciangsana based assessment of the results of observation, documentation and literature related to discipline without punishing. The results showed that there are several key discipline without punishing. The main key is to teach discipline to the child not only to express but also give a concrete example to children. Abstract

The problem in this study was that there were still 30% of children who were still dependent on others, especially parents and did not want to try when doing something because they usually got helps, especially in Gorontalo. The research aimed to know the effects of parenting styles of parents on the independence of early childhood. This study was an expost facto quantitative research with intact group comperation design. This study was conducted at TK Negeri Pembina Ki Hajar Dewantoro Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo. The objects of this study were parenting and children's independence. Data about parenting styles of parents were collected through a questionnaire. Meanwhile, data on children's independence were collected through observation using a checklist assessment table. From the results of the study obtained by using person correlation with the value of r = 0.702 and ttotal value = 0.468 or rxy ttotal, there was an effect between parenting styles of parents with the independence of early childhood and data analysis techniques used t-test obtained t-test value = 0.53 and ttable = 1.73., in other words, tcount ≤ ttable or p-value alpha so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, there was a significant effect between parenting styles of parents on the independence of children in group A TK Pembina Ki Hajar Dewantoro Selatan City Gorontalo City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative type make a match dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperatif type picture a picture pada kelompok siswa dengan motivasi belajar tinggi dan motivasi belajar rendah. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 1 Tangeban Kabupaten Banggai yang berjumlah 32 orang siswa. Hasil Penelitian menemukan 1) Hasil belajar pada Kompetensi Dasar mendeskripsikan perjuangan para tokoh pejuang pada masa penjajahan Belanda dan Jepang, yang menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative type make a match lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative type picture a picture, 2) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS pada Kompetensi Dasar mendeskripsikan perjuangan para tokoh pejuang pada masa penjajahan Belanda dan Jepang, 3) Siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative type make a match yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi, hasil belajarnya lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative type picture a picture. 4) Siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran coopertative type picture a picture yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah, hasil belajarnya lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative type make a match.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan potensi bencana alam sangat tinggi, khususnya untuk bencana gempa bumi, longsor, banjir, letusan gunung berapi, dan tsunami, karena posisi geografis negara ini terletak di pertemuan tiga lempeng/kerak bumi aktif. Edukasi bencana kepada anak-anak maupun masyarakat sejak dini merupakan salah satu langkah awal dalam membangun masyarakat sadar bencana, sehingga saat peristiwa alam tersebut terjadi, mereka tidak panik dan bingung karena sudah memiliki bekal dalam menghadapi bencana. Daerah Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo khususnya Desa Tupa Kecamatan Bulango Utara merupakan contoh dari banyak daerah di Provinsi Gorontalo yang rawan terhadap bencana banjir dan longsor. Kondisi topografi dan demografi Desa Tupa yang lebih rendah dari daerah sekitar kerap membuat air dari desa sebelah menggenang di desa Tupa. Sungai besar dengan tanggul yang rendah juga menyebabkan air dengan cepatnya menggenangi daerah permukiman hal tersebut membutuhkan solusi yang bersifat aktif dan partisipatif. Metode Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah berupa program mitigasi bencana alam melalui media edukatif interaktif terhadap masyarakat terutama pada lingkungan keluarga (anak-anak dan orang tua). Urgensi program mitigasi dilakukan agar masyarakat terhidar dan sigap terhadap bencana yang sewaktu-waktu dapat terjadi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengurangi resiko dan dampak dari bahaya bencana. Kegiatan tersebut akan dilakukan dalam kurun waktu tiga bulan yang meliputi 4 tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap evaluasi dan tahap publikasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyakarat yang dilaksanakan di desa Tupa Kecamatan Bulango Utara Kab. Bone Bolango berjalan dengan lancar dan sukses. Kerjasama antara tim kolaboratif dosen dan mahasiswa serta pemerintah Desa menjadi kunci keberhasilan program. Alhasil program ini memberikan dampak terhadap pemahaman dan sikap siswa serta masyakarat dalam mencegah terjadinya bencana alam serta cara yang dapat dilakukan saat terjadinya bencana tersebut. Melalui mode media interaktif yang dipadu dengan media role playing sangat sesuai dengam sasaran program yakni anak-anak bersama keluarga di rumah merupakan bagian dari keunggulan program ini. Metode role playing agar kelompok sasaran dapat memahami dengan baik materi dalam permainan. Moda interaktif dapat memberi pengalaman belajar, seperti kemampuan kerja sama, komunikatif, dan menginterpretasikan suatu kejadian. Selain itu moda belajar tersebut dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan serta sikap kelompok sasaran dalam kehidupan sosial serta interaksi dengan alam semesta.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan sebagai upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian penyebaran Covid-19, sehingga masyarakat Kelurahan Hutuo mampu menghadapi adaptasi kebiasaan baru menuju masyarakat yang produktif dan aman terhadap Covid-19. Masyarakat di Kelurahan Hutuo pada umumnya lebih cenderung pada penggunaan obat-obatan kimia dalam mengatasi masalah kesehatan. Untuk itu, pengenalan TOGA kepada masyarakat di Kelurahan Hutuo merupakan sebuah terobosan baru yang dapat dilakukan pada masyarakatnya, meskipun tanaman obat tradisional sudah dikenal oleh masyarakat. Kenyataanya, banyak masyarakat yang mulai lupa akan khasiat tanaman obat tradisonal untuk upaya mengatasi masalah kesehatan. Kegiatan menggunakan metode pendampingan langsung , penguatan, serta pendidikan dan pelatihan pada masyarakat dengan melibatkan aparat pemerintah Desa setempat, Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL), mahasiswa peserta KKN, serta narasumber yang memiliki kualitas SDM/pakar di bidang tanaman herbal. Hasil pelaksanaan yang dicapai pada program KKN Pengabdian ini antara lain: 1) Terciptanya sarana untuk memperbaiki status kesehatan dan gizi masyarakat terutama dalam mencegah penyebaran Covid19, sebab banyak tersedianya tanaman obat dan tanaman penghasil buah-buahan atau sayur-sayuran. 2) Meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam penggunaan obat-obat tradisonal yang bersifat herbal. 4) Terciptanya sarana untuk pelestarian alam, terutama pembudidayaan kembali tumbuh-tumbuhan yang akan mengalami kepunahan. 5) Adanya gerakan penghijauan untuk lokasi yang mengalami penggundulan dengan penyebarluasan wilayah penanaman tanaman obat yang berbentuk pohon. 6) Adanya sarana untuk pemerataan pendapatan dan sumber penghasilan bagi keluarga. 7) Terciptanya lingkungan yang indah melalui penataan dan perawatan apotik hidup yang baik. 8) Tersosialisasinya program KKN pengabdian pada media cetak maupun media elektronik. 8) Terbitnya artikel pada jurnal nasional. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, disarankan kepada masyarakat setempat agar senantiasa memperhatikan keberlangsungan taman TOGA di pekarangan rumah dan lebih diperkaya lagi dengan berbagai jenis tanaman terutama tanaman yang tergolong langkah sulit untuk didapatkan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact on elementary school children after the eviction in Tanjung Sari, Karaton, Luwuk Subdistrict, Banggai District, Indonesia. The study was conducted for three months, from February to June 2018. The research subjects were the community, especially children who were sitting in the elementary school along with parents of students at Tanjung Sari. Procedure This research is this research using procedures with stages including the following: planning, observation and implementation stages. In this study using qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques obtained through respondents' statements contained in the questionnaire data, and then to check the accuracy of the data is also carried out interviews, observation and documentation. While in describing the data obtained quantitatively used descriptive statistics, this was done in this study to obtain the correct information. Furthermore, in data processing there are two steps used, Data Selection and Classification The steps taken are a) checking whether all respondents; b) check all questions in the questionnaire to ensure answers according to the instructions given; c) check whether the collected data is suitable for processing. Then giving the score weight for each alternative answer in scoring is used Likert scale which is one way to determine the score. This technique is used to get the tendency of the scores given by respondents on each item of the question according to the criteria or benchmarks used. Based on the results of research conducted that the impact of residential execution on the continuity of education in elementary school age children in Tanjung Sari, Kelurahan Karwen, Luwuk Subdistrict, Banggai Regency has a very strong impact on the continuity of education in elementary school children in Tanjung Sari, Karaton, Luwuk Subdistrict, Banggai District.
