Abstract

Perkembangan anak sangat bergantung pada pola asuh orang tua, karakter, kepribadian dan aspek perkembangan lainnya akan berkembang seiring dengan pola asuh yang dilakukan oleh orang tua. Oarng tua lahir digenerasi mereka masing-masing mulai dari generasi Baby Boomers, Generasi X, Generasi Y atau Milenial, Generasi Z dan generasi-generasi selanjutnya. Setiap dari tingkatan generasi memiliki karakteristik dan cara mendidik anak yang berbeda-beda dengan latar belakang yang berbeda-beda pula. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengaruh pola asuh orang tua Generasi X dan Generasi Y (Milenial) dalam mendidik anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literature dengan melakukan analisis terhadap artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan dari tahun 2018-2021 fulltext. Data tersebut diperoleh dari Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dan ResearchGate, dan Google Scholar. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah Pola Asuh Orang Tua, Generasi X dan Generasi Z (Milenial), dan Anak Usia Dini. Hasil dari penelitian studi literature mengenai pengaruh pola asuh generasi x dan y (milenial) terhadak karakter anak usia dini adalah bahwa pola asuh yang dilakukan oleh orang tua di Generasi X dan Y (Milenial) terbukti memberi pengaruh positif. Pola asuh yang sehat dan positif akan menumbuhkan karakter anak menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Child development is very dependent on parenting, character, personality and other aspects of development will develop along with parenting carried out by parents. Old people were born in their respective generations, starting from the Baby Boomers generation, Generation X, Generation Y or Millennials, Generation Z and subsequent generations. Each generation level has different characteristics and ways of educating children with different backgrounds. For this reason, this study aims to describe the effect of parenting of Generation X and Generation Y (Millennials) in educating early childhood. This study uses a literature study method by analyzing articles published from 2018-2021 fulltext. The data was obtained from the Journal of Early Childhood Education and ResearchGate, and Google Scholar. The keywords used are Parenting Parenting, Generation X and Generation Z (Millennials), and Early Childhood. The results of the literature study research on the effect of parenting styles x and y (millennials) on the character of early childhood is that parenting carried out by parents in Generations X and Y (Millennials) is proven to have a positive influence. A healthy and positive parenting pattern will grow the child's character to become a better person.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning of al-Qur’an through the Ummi method at Islamic Kindergarten Widya Cendekia. This research employs a qualitative research approach with a case study design. The data were obtained from the results of observations, interviews, and document reviews. The results showed that the application of the Ummi method carried out by Islamic Kindergarten Widya Cendekia in learning al-Qur’an had a good effect on children's ability to read al-Qur’an properly and correctly and increased their ability to memorize al-Qur'an. This can be seen from the response and behavior of students when learning al-Qur’an using the Ummi method. The students were able to follow the reading tonnes of Ummi and tajwid (the structure of Qur’an recitation). Certified teachers who routinely conduct training in learning the ummi method and the availability of teaching aids are both supportive and inhibiting factors in using the ummi method. The inhibiting factors in the implementation of the ummi method were that each group consisted of students who had different abilities or volume achievements, a lack of cooperation between parents and teachers in learning to read al-Qur’an, and a lack of teacher ability in managing Qur'an learning classes using the ummi method.
