Abstract

Latar belakang peneliti melakukan penelitian tentang penggunaan gawai dan interaksi sosial adalah siswa yang menggunakan gawai lebih besar dibandingkan siswa yang tidak menggunakan gawai, siswa malas belajar, siswa malas bergerak, siswa menjadi pendiam, siswa suka menyendiri, siswa mengabaikan lingkungan sekitarnya dan lebih memilih bermain gawai dibandingkan bermain dengan teman-temannya, siswa suka meniru adegan yang ada di gawai tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, sedangkan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan cara mewawancarai guru dan siswa sesuai dengan pedoman yang dibuat, setelah wawancara selesai maka peneliti melakukan observasi lapangan dengan melihat keadaan sebenarnya, kemudian hasil wawancara dan observasi disimpulkan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kurang sopan dalam berbicara dan bersikap, siswa acuh tidak acuh terhadap proses pembelajaran di kelas, siswa jadi malas belajar, siswa kurang berinteraksi dengan temannya, siswa lebih banyak main game dari pada belajar, dan siswa menjadi pemalu. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di atas maka diperoleh jawaban pada observasi pertama yang menjawab “Ya” 3 orang dan menjawab “Tidak” 2 orang, observasi kedua yang menjawab “Ya” 4 orang dan menjawab “Tidak” 1 orang, dan observasi ketiga yang menjawab “Ya” 5 orang dan menjawab “Tidak” 0 orang

Abstract

The behavior and habits of residents in disposing of waste by not distinguishing between recyclable and nonrecyclable waste can lead to new problems. This paper is the result of community service to increase publicknowledge about environmental cleanliness in Singkawang City. The author sees the need for efforts to increasethis insight through action or by providing information about behavior in disposing of waste in temporary landfillsso that the problem of minimal waste can be reduced. Kegiatan is done by the method of socialization and is partof qualitative methods. Collecting data through a closed questionnaire which in this questionnaire has presentedanswers in such a way, so that respondents are asked to choose an answer that suits their characteristics by giving across or a checklist. The question-and-answer method is also used, this method makes the activity more interestingbecause of interactions such as explaining and followed by a question and answer session between the officers, thecommunity who are on-site, and the presenter. It is also hoped that this can add to the national insight of theparticipants who receive socialization about Disposing of Garbage in Temporary Garbage Shelters in SingkawangCity

Abstract

This study aims: 1) To determine the differences in cognitive learning outcomes between students in the experimental class using the scramble method and students in the control class using the conventional method in third grade at SDN 88 Singkawang; 2) To determine the extent of the influence of the scramble learning method on the cognitive learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 88 Singkawang. The research design used was post-test only. The population consisted of all third-grade students at SDN 88 Singkawang, totaling 48 students. The research instruments included a post-test on cognitive learning outcomes in Social Studies and a Lesson Plan. The prerequisite tests applied normality and homogeneity tests with a significance level of 5% (0.05), and hypothesis testing was conducted using a two-sample t-test and effect size analysis. The results showed that the t-test obtained t-count = 4.059 and t-table = 2.012, where t-count > t-table (4.059 > 2.012), indicating that Ha was accepted. This shows that there is a difference in the cognitive learning outcomes in Social Studies between the experimental and control classes. The effect size test result was 1.68, indicating that the scramble learning method had a high category influence on the cognitive learning outcomes of students.
