Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of parents in developing children's learning independence at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Skikilale Village, Waplau District, Buru Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation with descriptive data analysis. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the role of parents in developing children's learning independence at home is the most important process in directing, guiding, petrifying, and providing facilities for children to be able to form independent personalities by themselves because according to parents, children must be accustomed to being more independent in the learning process so that Children know their abilities. The role of parents in developing children's learning independence at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in educating children includes mentoring and as a motivator. Keywords: Role of Parents, Children's Learning Independence, Covid 19 Pandemic

Abstract

Abstrack: The quality of graduates at the elementary school level is a concern and the main focus of this research is how to apply effective active learning strategies to improve graduate outcomes. According to Rusman, active learning strategies involve more student activities in accessing various information and knowledge to be discussed and studied in the learning process in class so that they get various experiences that can increase their understanding and competence because active learning allows students to develop high-level abilities, such as analyzing and synthesizing. as well as assessing various learning events and applying them in everyday life The method that researchers use to study and analyze this problem is a qualitative method. Furthermore, all the data needed for the discussion is obtained using interview techniques, observation and other documentary data which are considered useful for producing a scientific paper. This data was obtained, analyzed and discussed as a scientific paper with the title "Learning Strategies for Class VI Students for Facing Final School Exams at SD Negeri 3 Kairatu, West Seram Regency. Keywords: Active Learning Strategy

Abstract

In the process of teaching and learning teachers have the task to prepare lesson plans and in it there are strategies that must also be prepared. Strategy is a way that teachers should pay attention and apply well in teaching and learning process, so that will impact on teaching and learning atmosphere and involvement of students in following the learning process. The problem is the character of the child who is difficult to manage or the child who tends to want to play rather than follow the teaching and learning process, it will result in the learning process becomes hampered, and will disrupt the attention and involvement of other students in the learning process. According to the results of this writing that with a strategy that has been well prepared by teachers, in the process of teaching and learning will make the course of teaching and learning process to be effective, and fun. But when the teacher does not prepare the strategy well in the delivery process of the material, will be not maximized, the child will feel bored and the child will prefer to play than to receive the teaching that the teacher gives, so strategy is a thing that can generate interest, which can create a sense of fun, to follow the learning process. Strategy includes all the things teachers do in the learning process. The results can be seen from the students' ability when doing the task given by the teacher. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the strategy of teaching a good teacher and creative with attention to the character and style of student learning, can make students attention and involved in the learning process.
