Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to find out the habit of ditching class XI students of Bengkulu City Senior High School 8 before being given group counseling services with behavioral contract techniques, (2) to find out the habit of ditching class XI students of Bengkulu 8 High School after being given group counseling services with behavioral contract techniques, and (3) to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services with behavioral contract techniques in reducing the habit of ditching class XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Kota Bengkulu. The method used is action research in guidance and counseling services. This study involved six students who indicated truant habits, namely (AH, ART, FBF, F, and RSF) from class XI of SMA Negeri 8 Kota Bengkulu, obtained from the results of documentation in the form of the last attendance in August. After the counselee's identification, group counseling services are conducted with a behavioral contract technique. The procedure for classroom action research is carried out in 4 stages, namely 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection. The results showed that: (1) The results of the analysis before being given group counseling services with behavioral contract techniques, the habit of ditching students on average there are five times in one month, (2) Results of analysis after being given group counseling services with behavioral contract techniques, student habits ditching experienced a decrease in the previous one in five months twice a month. (3) The results of the analysis can be concluded that the implementation of group counseling services with highly effective behavioral contract techniques is used to reduce the habit of skipping school in class XI Bengkulu 8 High School students that implementing group counseling services with highly effective behavioral contract techniques is used to reduce truant habits school for class XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

Pembelajaran metodologi penelitian dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah, dengan harapan mahasiswa memiliki motivasi dan kepercayaan diri untuk menyelesaikan studinya. Hasil penelitian terdahulu dan pengamatan,teridentifikasi, banyak mahasiswa yang akan dan sedang menysun skripsi, kurang yakin dapat menyelesaiakan kuliah, bingung dari mana harus memulai nyususn skripsi, kurang percaya diri berkonsultasi dengan dosen pembimbing. Salah satu penyebab kondisi itu, adalah lemahnya sikap ilmiah. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui;1) gambsran sikap ilmiah mahasiswa Bimbingan dsn Konseling FKIP Universitas Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH Bengkulu, yang sedang mengikuti perkuliahan metode penelitian. Peningkatan sikap ilmiah setelah digunakan model project based learning dalam pembelajaran metode penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) pada pembelajaran metode penelitian Semester V mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling berjumlah 33 orang. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan, bahwa sikap ilmiah mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling FKIP Universitas Hazairin Bengkulu yang mengikuti perkuliahan metode penelitian pada semester V tahun akademik 2020-2021 rata-rata kurang pada indikator rasa ingin tahu, kreativitas dan berpikir kritis. Untuk indikator respek terhadap pakta, berpikir terbuka dan kerjasama, ketekunan ada pada kategori cukup. Setelah diterapkan model Project Based Learing pada pembelajaran metode penelitian pada siklus II an siklus III, semua indikator sikap ilmiah meningkt satu tahap; yang kurang menjadi cukup, dan yang cukup menjadi baik. Dengan demikian penerapan model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan metode penelitian pada semester V tahun akademik 2020/2021.

Abstract

One of the problems of education in Indonesia today is the low literacy of mathematics, science and reading. STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) education is an effort made by almost all countries to improve scientific, technological, and mathematical literacy. Indonesia developed the 2013 curriculum to improve literacy. Several research results on STEM education in Indonesia conclude that STEM education has been well understood by most teachers in Indonesia. However, in the implementation of learning, not many have implemented it. This paper will visualize the implementation of STEM education in improving students' literacy skills, and help achieve the Alam Bengkulu school's vision, "Being a reference for the world of education in Bengkulu in forming a generation that loves science." The material is packaged in multimedia in the form of text, animation, sound, and video. , in accordance with the demands of learning materials. The research was conducted at the Bengkulu Nature School. The goal is to popularize the implementation of STEM education which has not been widely applied by teachers. For example, implementing learning by integrating Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, increasing scientific literacy, through local content in natural schools.
