Abstract

Salah satu timbulnya keluhan penglihatan pada penderita astigmatisme dengan axis yang tidak tepat adalah kurang tajam penglihatan, ketidaksempurnaan (distorsi) tajam penglihatan, berbayang atau tampak ganda saat melihat objek. Penentuan aksis pada penderita astigmatisme dapat dilakukan dengan tehnik pengaburan dan silinder silang. Pada karya tulis ini, penulis menggunakan pengumpulan data yang bersifat deskriptif dengan kepustakaan salah satunya karangan Andrew William Keirl dengan judul buku ”Clinical Optics and Refraction: A Guide for Optometrists, Contact Lens”. Tujuan dari teknik pemeriksaan refraksi menggunakan kedua metode tersebut di atas pada penderita astigmatisme adalah untuk mendapatkan kenyamanan penglihatan bagi penderita astigmatisme. Kata Kunci : Tajam Penglihatan, Astigmatisme, Deskriptif, Refraksi subjektif Kenyamanan Penglihatan.

Abstract

This paper aims to find important steps that must be taken by a number of parties to overcome the increase in cases of myopia in children. These steps are very urgent to be carried out in relation to cases of myopia which are growing very rapidly in children in this era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Using qualitative methods, this study explored a number of literatures and interviewed three experts who worked as lecturers at ARO Gapopin. The results of this study indicate that technology is closely related to the success of children in achieving Indonesia's Vision 2045 which is the golden generation related to the demographic bonus. Also, the increase in myopia is related to the myths that live in society that must be overcome. In addition, myopia can be overcome if the relevant parties have the knowledge and methods related to effective treatment.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the relationship between distance and duration of smartphone use and eye fatigue complaints among students of ARO Gapopin. The sampling technique used a simple purposive sampling method with a sample size of 116 respondents obtained through an online questionnaire on the google form. The data analysis used was in multiple regression analysis using the SPSS application. The results of this study showed that there was no influence between variable duration and distance of smartphone use on complaints of eye fatigue. With significance values of 0.996 and 0.682.
