Abstract

In South Bengkulu district of Bengkulu province, the majority of indigenous people are Serawai tribe. Serawai tribe is rich in culture, one of Serawai's cultural treasures is the culture of life cycle. Culture is due to the development of the eroded began to exist even disappeared. General research is to preserve the culture of Serawai tribe. The specific purpose of this research is to describe the life cycle culture of Serawai tribe that still exist in the life of the Serawai people. The research method is qualitative. Research location of South Bengkulu district. Primary data sources are informants and also use secondary data. Data collection techniques are: in-depth interviews, documentation and observation. Analyze data from beginning to end. The result of research is found culture of life cycle are: culture of birthing, beterang (circumcision of woman), male circumcision, association of youth, marriage and death. The culture has started to change and some tend to disappear. The government and society are still working to preserve it.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan upaya SD Pelita Kasih Bengkulu dalam mengatasi dampak pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi terbatas dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian kualitatif dilakukan melalui tahapan mengkategorisasikan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Mereduksi data berarti merangkum, memilih hal-hal yang pokok, memfokuskan pada hal-hal yang penting, mencari pola dan informasi yang diperoleh dan membuang informasi yang tidak perlu. Melalui penyajian data, maka data terorganisasikan, tersusun dalam pola hubungan sehingga mudah dipahami. Proses penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi dilakukan untuk menemukan bukti-bukti yang kuat sampai diperoleh simpulan yang kredibel. Hasil penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, murid dan wali murid telah melakukan upaya melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku. Kepala sekolah, guru, murid dan wali murid juga sudah berupaya kreatif agar pembelajaran daring berjalan dengan baik. Simpulan kepala sekolah, guru, murid dan wali murid dengan segala daya upaya melaksanakan pembelajaran daring, sehingga kegiatan belajar di SD Pelita Kasih selama masa pandemi tetap berjalan baik. Pembelajaran daring menggunakan whatshapp, video call, video, classrom, webex dan zoom.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the face of education in Indonesia, which seems to have to implement an online learning system and from home. This condition will certainly require adaptation for students to understand the material to be taught. This is because the interaction process carried out by students and teachers is only carried out online. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of understanding of students in online geography learning at SMAN 6 Bengkulu City. This type of research is descriptive and qualitative, the method used in this study is a survey. The data collection technique was carried out by using multiple choice questionnaires. The sample in this study was 130 students of class X. The data in the study were then processed with descriptive statistics and percentages. The results showed that the level of understanding of students in online learning at SMAN 6 Bengkulu City was in the "Pretty Good" category.

Abstract

Bengkulu is located in an area prone to high earthquakes and an area prone to medium earthquakes. Medium earthquake-prone areas are areas that have the potential to be hit by earthquake shocks with an intensity ranging from VII MMI. The high level of earthquake intensity that occurred in Bengkulu caused the Bengkulu region to frequently experience earthquakes, so an action was needed in the form of socialization of disaster mitigation to increase public awareness. Mitigation related to public awareness actions is structural mitigation action, which is a form of mitigation action that is directly related to the level of public awareness, especially students, seen from the integrated disaster mitigation learning in the geography subject curriculum at the high school level. In the process of implementing disaster mitigation learning, students are required to understand what disasters often occur so that the introduction of earthquake disaster mitigation can be given and can be applied by students in a real action in dealing with disasters. The data used were questionnaires and questions distributed to Geography teachers and high school students in Bengkulu City. The level of understanding of mitigation in the middle zone of 138 students, the highest percentage achieved at the level of understanding is less with a percentage of 44% with a total of 60 students. The level of understanding of mitigation possessed by students in the middle zone with the highest percentage of 44% is in the condition of a low level of understanding. The average regression test of geography learning that occurs in Bengkulu City is 52.32% and understanding of mitigation in the intermediate zone is only 41.60%. In the middle zone, the level of understanding is at the level of understanding less with a percentage of 44% with the influence arising from understanding the mitigation that occurs in the research process is only 34.3% and the largest percentage at the level of understanding of mitigation that occurs by other factors in the form of environmental factors and environmental factors. information factor of 65.7%.
