Abstract

Abstrak: Rendahnya tingkat aktifitas fisik pada anak usia sekolah merupakan faktor risiko kejadian gizi lebih dan obesitas yang merupakan pintu gerbang penyakit degeneratif di usia-usia selanjutnya.  Secara global maupun di Indonesia, tingkat aktifitas fisik anak sekolah masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan promosi aktifitas fisik yang efektif untuk mendorong perubahan pengetahuan dan perilaku. Promosi aktifitas fisik pada kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui metode edukasi berbasis praktik yang terdiri dari penyuluhan, praktik, dan pendampingan pada siswa SD Islam Assa’adah Cilandak, Jakarta Selatan. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan rerata skor pengetahuan (6,63 ± 0,655 menjadi 10 ± 10, p value=0,000) dan perilaku aktifitas fisik (2,17 ± 0,612 menjadi 2,63 ± 0,392, p value=0,031) pre dan post edukasi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi berbasis praktik merupakan upaya promotif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan aktifitas fisik siswa usia sekolah.Abstract:  low level of physical activity among school children has been the risk factor of overweight and obesity that lead to degenerative diseases in later life. In the last decade, across the globe, physical activity among school children remains low, especially in Indonesia. Therefore the effective promotion is extremely needed to encourage the change of knowledge and behavior. Physical activity promotion has been conducted by deliver practice based health education including counseling, practices, and accompaniment targeted school children at Assa’adah Islamic Elementary School in Cilandak, South Jakarta. The result shows an increase of knowledge score (6,63 ± 0,655 to 10 ± 10, p value=0,000) and physical activity score (2,17 ± 0,612 to 2,63 ± 0,392, p value=0,031) between pre and post education.  It suggested that practice based health education is an effective promotion in escalating physical activity among school children.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sedentari merupakan perilaku yang memiliki potensi terhadap kejadian masalah kesehatan. Perilaku Sedentari ini meningkatkan peluang terjadi kenaikan berat badan atau obesitas pada diri seseorang. Mahasiswa UHAMKA mayoritas menunjukkan perilaku tersebut, karena kegiatan keseharian mahasiswa seperti mengikuti perkuliahan, mengerjakan tugas, bermain game online, menonton ataupun mencari hiburan di internet dan media massa yang dilakukan dengan cara duduk atau berdiam diri berjam-jam. Keiatan pengabdia terdiri serangkaian kegiatan promosi kesehatan yang bertujuan untuk peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai bahaya sedentari dan peningkatan aktivitas fisik dengan metode chair aerobics. kegiatan tersebut terdiri dari edukasi kesehatan melalui seminar kesehatan dan pembiasaaan chair aerobics pada proses perkuliahan melalui pemutaran video gerakan chair aerobics. Kegiatan pengabdian bermitra dengan Fakultas Ilmu-Ilmu Kesehatan (FIKES) UHAMKA dan telah menyasar 77 mahasiswa. Hasil evaluasi hasil melalui metode pre-post one group design menunjukkan keberhasilan berupa terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan sedentari dan aktifitas fisik (18,29%) dan niat mahasiswa untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik (1,14%). Selain itu mampu memberikan dampak perubahan pada kebiasaan mahasiswa untuk melakukan chair aerobics pada sela – sela jam perkuliahan ataupun kegiatan aktivitas fisik seperti menaiki tangga, berjalan kaki, dan lainnya.Abstract: Sedentary is a behavior that has the potential to cause health problems. Sedentary behavior increases the chances of gaining weight or obesity in a person. The majority of UHAMKA students show this behavior because students' daily activities such as attending lectures, doing assignments, playing online games, watching, or looking for entertainment on the internet and mass media are carried out by sitting or being silent for hours. Community service activities consist of a series of health promotion activities aimed at increasing knowledge about the dangers of sedentary and increasing physical activity using the chair aerobics method. These activities consist of health education through health seminars and the habituation of chair aerobics in the lecture process through playing chair aerobics movement videos. The community partnered is the Faculty of Health Sciences UHAMKA and targeted 77 students. The results of the evaluation of results using the pre-post one group design method showed success in the form of increasing sedentary knowledge and physical activity (18.29%) and students' intention to do physical activity (1.14%). Besides that, it can have an impact on changes in student habits to do chair aerobics during lecture hours or physical activities such as climbing stairs, walking, and others.

Abstract

The need for nurses in Indonesia is still high because the need for health services in Indonesia is also increasing. The duties carried out by nurses are very vulnerable to health. Nurses will experience poor sleep quality from the tasks they do. Poor sleep quality will impact mental and health conditions because nurses have fewer hours of sleep. Lack of sleep can reduce medical and mental conditions, so the workability of nurses will decrease—Ninety-three respondents from nurses who work in Tugu Ibu hospital, Cimanggis Depok West Java. The type of research is quantitative, using a cross-sectional approach. The cross-sectional approach analyses the relationship between the independent variables, namely age, gender, shift work and body mass index, with sleep quality experienced by nurses at a private hospital in the Cimanggis area, Depok West Java. The results of the chi-square test stated that there was no significant relationship between age and sleep quality (p = 0.051). There was a significant relationship between sleep quality and gender (p = 0.050), shift work (p = 0.002) and body mass index (p = 0.002). =0.001).
