Abstract

Indonesia has Karst areas spread throughout almost the entire archipelago. The Klapanunggal Karst region has been officially designated as a Karst Landscape Area, to emphasize its protected status, in alignment with governmental endeavors aimed at ensuring the long-term preservation of the ecological and human-related significance of this karst ecosystem. The aim of this research is to perform an economic valuation of the Klapanunggal Karst region using the Travel Cost Method. The research conducted intensive field observations within the Klapanunggal Karst area and administered well-structured questionnaires to a sample size of 109 respondents from visitor Klapanunggal Karst region. Base on observations and field data, the Klapanunggal Karst region was partitioned into four distinctive zones. Zone 1 is location within an industrial limestone mining permit area, thus vulnerable to the imminent threat of industrial mining activities. Zone 2 is situated within the precincts of the Klapanunggal KBAK. Zone 3 has been transformed from a former mining site into a tourist destination. Lastly, Zone 4 has earned the coveted status of a tourist village. Subsequently, based on the economic valuation calculations, the Klapanunggal Karst region was found to have an annual economic value of Rp. 4,156,219,112.40, with a visitation rate of 0.006% of the total tourists visiting Bogor Regency. The researchers also recommend the development of tourism in the Klapanunggal Karst region as a means of enhancing the local economy, as well as ensuring the protection and sustainability of the Klapanunggal Karst area, including other critical aspects like water resources and ecosystem values.

Abstract

The community-based empowerment carried out at home industries in Ciantra Village is a form of dedication by the Higher Education staff to community groups in producing butterfly pea-based processed products. The problems faced by partners, namely the drying process of butterfly pea flowers is still done conventionally by drying in the sun, and the drying process takes quite a long time, especially during the rainy season. Solutions that can be offered to overcome these problems with the application and assistance of infrared burner technology-based dryers. The aim of the community partnership empowerment program activities is to carry out technology transfer to home industries and to improve the quality of butterfly pea products. The stages of the activities used in the implementation of the community partnership empowerment program are socialization, application of the dryer, how to use the dryer, assistance, and evaluation. The results achieved through this program are that partners are able to understand the process of drying butterfly pea flowers, are skilled in the drying process of butterfly pea using the technological innovations that have been provided, and the availability of dryers based on infrared technology that partners can use to improve the drying results of butterfly pea flowers.

Abstract

Pemerintah menargetkan 10.300 desa teraliri listrik pada 2019. Pada 2019, peningkatan rasio elektrifikasi nasional ditargetkan menjadi 97 persen. Melalui Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM), meluncurkan Program Indonesia Terang (PIT) dalam rangka memenuhi target peningkatan rasio elektrifikasi nasional dari 85 persen pada tahun 2015 menjadi 97 persen di tahun 2019. PIT juga menjadi bagian dari target pemerintah yang menyediakan akses penerangan bagi masyarakat Indonesia secara merata melalui pembangunan pembangkit 35.000 MW. Dalam rilis pers Kementerian ESDM pada 28 Februari 2016, disebutkan bahwa hingga saat ini, masih ada 12.659 desa tertinggal yang belum memperoleh akses listrik dari jaringan Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), bahkan 2.519 desa diantaranya belum terlistriki sama sekali. Desa-desa ini sebagian besar tersebar di Provinsi Papua dan di kawasan Indonesia Timur lainnya. Populasi penduduk rata-rata sedikit dengan tingkat kepadatan yang rendah, akibatnya membangun jaringan listrik menjadi sangat mahal dan membuat hitung-hitungan ekonomi menjadi rugi. Pemerintah perlu memberikan perhatian lebih khusus kepada masyarakat di desa-desa tertinggal ini supaya mereka dapat segera terlayani listrik, tanpa kebijakan dan aksi yang berpihak, desa-desa tersebut mustahil bisa mengakses listrik sesuai target yang telah dicanangkan.

Abstract

Tomato is one of the potential agricultural products in Giripurno village, Batu City. Tomato has a delicious taste and good nutrition for health. The production of tomatoes in Batu city reach 11.750 ton in a year. However, the price of tomatoes fluctuates depending on the season. The farmers who are the tomato producers are at risk of being lost. Therefore, innovation is necessary to produce tomatoes to become one long-lasting product that can increase its value. This community service program is intended to increase the value of tomatoes by producing sweet-dried tomatoes in Giripurno Village, Batu city. The program started with an introduction to the Giripurno authorization, surveyed the potential local product, discussed with the local people, solved the problem, socialized the program to the people, trained the local people, and evaluated the program. We also granted the Giripurno authorization for one food dehydrator machine to be used by local people interested in the sweet-dried tomato business. Our program has been done for six months with the result there is an improvement in people's knowledge regarding the usage of tomatoes, the product derived from tomatoes, the way to produce sweet-dried tomatoes, and the business prospect of sweet-dried tomatoes. People also know using an appropriate technology food dehydrator to improve the sweet-dried tomato product.

Abstract

Tomato is one agricultural commodity from Batu City which is soabundant in number. Although the number of products is relativelyhigh, the benefit earned by tomato farmers is still uncertain due to pricefluctuation. The other problem is the characteristic of the tomato thateasy to get rotten. This condition increases the risk of farmers to getloss. One alternative solution to minimize the risk is processing thetomato as a sweet-dried tomato. Conversely, The sweet dried tomatoproduct is still less popular than the fruit cracker in Batu City. Throughthe community service program, we help local people to makeStrengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT analysis) tosee the prospect of sweet-dried tomatoes. We also recommended somestrategies for developing the sweet-dried tomatoes business to thevillage authority.

Abstract

Masalah yang menjadi pertimbangan dalam penggunaan motor listrik adalah daya keluaran yang dihasilkan pada saat motor bekerja. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis daya keluaran Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) yang akan diuji pada kecepatan tertentu serta ditinjau terhadap perubahan sudut torsi tiap putaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan analisis daya keluaran dengan karakteristik yang stabil serta kinerja PMSM yang menghasilkan efisiensi sesuai standar. Penelitian menggunakan metode komputasi dengan model finite element analysis (FEA) yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan software. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh performa PMSM dengan arus input sebesar 1.5 kA pada setiap fasa sehingga motor dapat beroperasi dengan kecepatan 13300 rpm serta menghasilkan torsi sebesar 164 Nm. Fluks magnet yang terbentuk berada dalam kondisi stabil dengan nilai 0.02 Wb dan membentuk distribusi medan magnet yang merata pada setiap kumparan stator. Rata-rata daya keluaran maksimum yang dihasilkan jangkar rotor adalah 107.6 kW pada sudut torsi 114°. Penelitian telah berhasil memperoleh analisis daya keluaran pada PMSM melalui metode komputasi. Hasil analisis tersebut dapat menjadi acuan dalam proses manufaktur PMSM. The problem that is considered in the use of electric motors is the output power generated when the motor is working. This research focuses on analyzing the output power of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) which will be tested at a certain speed and looking at changes in torque angle for each rotation. The aim of this research is to obtain an output power analysis with stable characteristics and PMSM performance that produces efficiency according to standards. The research uses computational methods with finite element analysis (FEA) models which are carried out using software. The results of this research obtained PMSM performance with an input current of 1.5 kA in each phase so that the motor can operate at a speed of 13300 rpm and produce a torque of 164 Nm. The magnetic flux formed is in a stable condition with a value of 0.02 Wb and forms an even magnetic field distribution in each stator coil. The average maximum output power produced by the rotor armature is 107.6 kW at a torque angle of 114°. Research has succeeded in obtaining output power analysis on PMSM through computational methods. The results of this analysis can be used as a reference in the PMSM manufacturing process.
