Abstract

One of the dakwa organizations which continues to grow with quite a large number of followers and spread in some parts of Indonesia is a religious school of the Indonesian Islamic Dakwa Organization (known as LDII), In West Kalimantan, especially in the city of Pontianak, the LDII is growing fast just as in the other areas. The religious activities indicate an attitude which is also exclusive, extreme and tends to blame the practice of the religious teachings outside of the congregation. The religious attitude of the LDII in Pontianak, has not led to rejection, but the spotlight and syndrome of refusal from some communities have started to emerge especially around the neighborhood of its preaching center. The purpose of this study are: 1) to describe the nature of LDII in Pontianak, 2) to describe the LDII doctrine and its application in public life in Pontianak., 3). to reveal the efforts of the government and the public in addressing the organizational activities of LDII in Pontianak The procedure used in this study was the approach of Case Study. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques used in case study were observation, in-depth interviews and analysis of documentation. The results of the study, as follows: (1) The LDII in the city of Pontianak has spread across several districts i.e. 11 (eleven) locations that serve as the gathering of the congregation of LDII. The places are equipped with mosques as a place of worship and boarding schools; the Government and the public are still in the process of monitoring and preventing conflict or disputes and violence between fellow Muslims or within the community; by studying the development of the Indonesian Islamic Dakwa Organization (LDII) in Pontianak, which in general is still under control, this research will be a major contribution to the government in making policies.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to train the counseling skills of BKI study program students, have professionalism in conducting the process of guidance and counseling activities and conducting religious guidance, through the development of hypothetical model helping relationship. To assess their ability to use this technique researchers directed students to carry out the process of individual guidance and counseling activities through online videos that they share with youtube channel. This is done to address the inequality of conditions during this pandemic or covid-19, does not allow us to conduct activities online. The research method used in this research is research and development (RD). Theuse of this method, is based on a study in the application of models resulting from rational validation and the development of theory, to produce the right model in improving the professionalism of counseling skills of BKI students through helping relationship techniques. The results of this hypothetical model development research contribute to the improvement, professionalism of skills of student counselors proram islamic counseling guidance (BKI) in an effort to meet the standards of competence of graduates, as supervisors/ religious counselors in the community and advisers / educational counselors in schools/ madrasah.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high divorce rate and the implementation of the mediation process in Religious Court Class I-A Pontianak in 2020-2021. The objectives of this research are to find out the factors causing the high divorce rate and how the mediation process is implemented. This research applied qualitative research methods. The research techniques used were documentation and interviews. This research reveals that: 1. The factors causing the high divorce rate in the Religious Court Class I-A Pontianak in 2020-2021 are: disputes and quarrels; economic problems; leaving their spouses; gambling; and domestic violence (KDRT), and 2. The mediation process carried out by the mediator is based on the Regulation of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 Year of 2016, namely (a) submit a resume of the case to the mediator, the mediation process is not more than 30 days from the determination; (b) the material will be completed based on the problems experienced; (c) the mediator can invite the experts or community figures who can help resolve the problem with an agreement between the two parties and the mediator, and  (d) if the mediation process is successful, the mediator is obliged to issue a peace treaty or agreement. This research provides recommendations: (a) academically, the opportunity to become a non-judge mediator can be fulfilled by alumni of the Islamic Guidance and Counselling Study Program who have taken mediator training; and (b) the mediator's ability and skills in the mediation process and the intense desire of the married couple to unite can reduce the rate of divorce.
