Abstract

This study addressed the problem of selecting the most relevant features for improving the accuracy of diabetes classification using health indicator data. The research focused on a binary classification task based on the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System dataset, which comprised over seventy thousand records and twenty-one predictive features related to individual health behaviors and conditions. A metaheuristic wrapper approach was developed by integrating a Genetic Algorithm for feature selection with an XGBoost classifier to evaluate the predictive quality of each feature subset. The fitness function was defined as the average classification accuracy obtained through cross-validation. In addition to feature selection, hyperparameter optimization of the XGBoost model was carried out using a Bayesian-based search strategy to further enhance performance. The proposed method successfully identified a subset of fourteen optimal features that contributed most significantly to the prediction of diabetes. The final model, combining the selected features and optimized parameters, achieved an accuracy of 0.753, outperforming both the baseline models trained on all features and models using features selected through deterministic methods. These results confirmed the effectiveness of combining evolutionary feature selection with model tuning to build efficient and interpretable predictive models for medical data classification. This approach demonstrated a practical solution for managing high-dimensional data in the context of chronic disease prediction.

Abstract

Stunting is a growth disorder that describes the failure to growth potential as a result of inadequate health status or nutrition. Child stunting data in 2022 has fallen to 21.6%, but according to the World Health Organization (WHO) criteria, the percentage is still high (20%). One prevention in reducing the risk of stunting is to increase the knowledge of parents about stunting and the intake of good food to be consumed by children. The dissemination of information about stunting and nutritional food intake is often found in the media of information such as text, video, and images but the distribution of information is not organized in one medium. The development phase uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) methodology with five (five) stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, and testing. The result of this study is a multimedia-based information media in dasawisma RT 05 Bumi Orange, Cimekar Village, Bandung Regency, with a selection of stunting material menus including complementary foods for breast milk (MPASI), children's weight and height standards, child nutrition, and food intake.

Abstract

This study is based on the trend of the nutritional status of Indonesian toddlers which is still unfavorable. In 2021, 24.4% of children under five were stunted, 7.1% were wasted, 17.0% were underweight and 3.5% were overweight. Although in 2022 stunting and overweight decreased to 21.6% and 3.5%, wasting and underweight increased to 7.7% and 17.1%. In addition, there are still many children whose daily needs are not fulfilled, therefore the application of The Unified Process method is used to build a nutrition monitoring application for infants under two years or abbreviated as Baduta. Furthermore, the purpose of the study is the development of a clown child nutrition monitoring application which is expected to help parents, especially those who have babies under two years old, so that they can monitor the development of their child's nutritional intake every day. based on the results of black box testing, it can be concluded that this application is good enough and informative based on providing nutritional information for baduta.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of the high number of job portal application users which is supported by the large number of job seekers in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the acceptance of job portal applications for job seekers in Indonesia with external factors, information quality and system quality. This research uses quantitative methods with the data analysis technique used is PLS-SEM using smartPLS 3.2.9 software. Data collection was carried out by distributing online questionnaires to job portal application users in Indonesia and involving 610 respondents. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be seen that information quality and system quality have a positive and significant influence on perceived usefulness and the magnitude of the influence is 58.8%, information quality and system quality have a positive and significant influence on perceived ease of use and magnitude. The influence is 56.4%, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a positive and significant influence on continuance intention to use and the magnitude of the influence is 63.8% and continuance intention to use has a significant positive influence on actual system use. Overall, information quality and system quality play a role in influencing actual system use indirectly.

Abstract

The management of civil case administration services at the Bale Bandung District Court still faces challenges in terms of efficiency and public accessibility. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to assist the partner in optimizing service governance through the design of a digital application interface based on the User Centered Design (UCD) approach. The implementation method includes needs analysis, interface design using UCD principles, prototype testing, and user training for related staff. The results of the program show the development of a more intuitive and user-friendly digital application interface that meets user needs, thereby improving service efficiency and providing a better experience for the community. This PkM activity not only offers a practical solution for the partner but also contributes to supporting digital transformation in the field of civil administration services.

Abstract

The expansion of internet access facilitates learning, work, social interaction, and transactions; however, it also increases the risks of hoaxes and cyberbullying, which carry legal and psychosocial consequences. High levels of misinformation and low digital-ethics literacy—as reflected in the national cybersecurity index—underscore the need for systematic, structured educational interventions. The community engagement program “Legal Awareness of Online Speech on Social Media” is aimed at members of the Tunggilis Village Karang Taruna (Kalipucang Subdistrict, Pangandaran Regency) to strengthen their understanding of internet ethics, the legal consequences of online interactions, and safe social-media practices. The methods include a pre-test, lecturer-led counseling sessions, hands-on mentoring, and a Google Form–based post-test; the activities are scheduled for 21–23 July 2025 at the Tunggilis Village Office Hall. The output targets are: at least 90% of participants understand the principles of healthy internet practices, and at least 85% understand the legal aspects of online interactions. The program is expected to foster ethical and resilient digital behavior among village youth while providing a replicable good practice.
