Abstract

Introduction: Thyroid Neoplasm is a tumor originating from the thyroid gland. Thyroid neoplasms encompass both benign and malignant tumors. Thyroid malignancies are among the most frequently encountered malignancies of the endocrine glands. Thyroid neoplasms generally have a relatively good prognosis when detected early. This study aims to determine the characteristics of thyroid neoplasm patients in the Department of Anatomic Pathology, Aloei Saboe Hospital.Method: This study is descriptive research using secondary data from medical records. Data was collected using a total sampling technique with a sample size of 58 patients. The study was conducted in the Department of Anatomic Pathology, Aloei Saboe Hospital, from January 2021 to October 2022.Results: The distribution of thyroid neoplasm patients is highest in late adulthood (36-45 years) with 15 patients (25.9%), followed by early elderly (46-55 years) with 15 patients (25.9%). The gender distribution shows more female patients, accounting for 43 (77.6%). The most common histopathological type is Colloid Goiter, with 20 patients (34.5%).Conclusion: The distribution of thyroid neoplasm patients is most prevalent between the ages of 35 to 55 years, predominantly in females, with the most common histopathological finding being Colloid Goiter. This study is expected to serve as a valuable source of information, enhancing public knowledge and awareness regarding thyroid neoplasm patients' characteristics.

Abstract

The training program for healthy heart and soul cadres in handling anxiety for hypertension sufferers aims to train cadres to provide knowledge and skills in recognizing signs of anxiety in hypertension sufferers and providing appropriate treatment to reduce the negative impact on health. Mentoring healthy heart and soul cadres aims to empower cadres who have taken the form of efforts to handle anxiety levels in hypertension sufferers. Cadre assistance is able to increase cadres' knowledge and skills in handling anxiety after an anxiety screening is carried out so that the level of anxiety can be known so that treatment can be carried out. Keywords: Cadres, Healthy Heart and Soul, Training

Abstract

This study aims to dissect the problem of diabetic neuropathy by analyzing risk factors such as age, length of suffering from Diabetes Mellitus (DM), history of contraceptive use, and glycemic control, which are the source of triggers. This study is a cross-sectional study with an analytical observational design. The results showed that from a sample of 225 patients with type 2 diabetes, 192 samples (85.4%) had diabetic neuropathy, while the remaining 33 samples (14.6%) did not have diabetic neuropathy. Regarding the length of suffering from DM, history of contraceptive use, and glycemic control, this study showed a significant relationship between these three variables on the incidence of diabetic neuropathy with -values ​​of 0.048, 0.044, and 0.004, respectively. On the other hand, in terms of the relationship between age and the incidence of neuropathy, this study revealed no significant relationship between the two with an -value of 0.476. In conclusion, the factors associated with diabetic neuropathy are the duration of diabetes mellitus, history of contraceptive use, and glycemic control. Abstract

Gizi merupakan masalah yang kompleks. Masalah gizi selalu muncul yang diakibatkan oleh masalah pangan di tingkat rumah tangga. Tentunya hal ini, tidak lagi semata-mata diakibatkan oleh masalah Kesehatan, tetapi juga masalah kemiskinan, dan Pendidikan serta masalah kesempatan kerja. Kebaruan penelitian ini karena meneliti tentang hubungan pendidikan dan pekerjaan orang tua dengan status gizi anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Pendidikan dan Pekerjaan Orang Tua Dengan Status Gizi Anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey analatik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Dimana untuk pengumpulan informasi dari variable independen maupun dependen di kumpulkan dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada TK Kota Gorontalo dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 117 orang. Dalam penelitian ini instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner yang sudah baku mudah dipahami dan dimengerti oleh responden serta lembar observasi yang diisi oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pendidikan orang tua dengan status gizi anak dengan hasil uji statistic chi square nilai p-Value = 0.001 dengan tingkat kesalahan (α) = 0,05 atau dengan kata lain nilai p0.05. Terdapat hubungan antara pekerjaan orang tua dengan status gizi anak dengan hasil uji statistic chi square menunjukan bahwa nilai p = 0,018 dengan tingkat kesalahan (α) = 0,05 atau dengan kata lain nilai p0.05. Kesimpulan penelitian ada hubungan pendidikan orang tua dengan status gizi anak dan ada hubungan pekerjaan orang tua dengan status gizi anak.Kata kunci: Pendidikan; Pekerjaan; Status Gizi Anak. AbstractNutrition is a complex issue. Nutritional problems always arise due to food problems at the household level. Of course, this is no longer solely caused by health problems but also problems and education and employment opportunities. The novelty of this study is that it examines the relationship between parents' education and occupation with the nutritional status of children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Parent's Education and Employment with Children's Nutritional Status. This study uses an analytical survey method with a Cross-Sectional approach. To collect information from independent and dependent variables at the same time gathered. This research was conducted in the Kindergarten of Gorontalo City with a total sample of 117 people. In this study, the instrument used was a standardized questionnaire that was easily accessible and understood by respondents and an observation sheet filled out by the researcher. The results showed that there was a relationship between parental education and the nutritional status of children with the results of the chi-square statistical test, p-value = 0.001 with an error rate (α) = 0.05 or, in other words, p 0.05. There is a relationship between the work of parents and the nutritional status of children, with the results of the chi-square statistical test showing that the p-value = 0.018 with an error rate (α) = 0.05 or, in other words, the p-value 0.05. The conclusion of the study is that there is a relationship between parental education and children's nutritional status, and there is a relationship between parents' occupation and children's nutritional status.
