Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a product in the form of a smash skill instrument in a table tennis game, and to obtain the validity and reliability of a smash instrument for a table tennis game. This research uses the Sukmadinata research and development (R&D) method with a sample of table tennis athletes in the City of Tasikmalaya with cadet and junior age groups for a limited trial of 10 people and an extensive trial of 21 people. This test instrument was examined by expert judgment first, expert judgment for the test instrument was tested by table tennis experts and measurement test experts. The results of this study, the test instrument was declared valid and reliable seen from the results of calculations where the trial was limited the level of validity of the test was 0.70 and the reliability of the test was 0.87 while for the broadest trial the validity of the test was 0.47 and the reliability of the test was 0.59. In conclusion, the smash skills test instrument in a table tennis game can be used for the Tasikmalaya City area. Keywords: Instruments, Smash Skills, Table Tennis Games

Abstract

This research aims to develop and validate the Android-based Unsil Basketball Guide (PUBbG) application. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method. Three experts were involved in validating the design and feasibility of the android application made and user validation by 66 students using the proportional random sampling technique. The instruments used are media and material expert validation instruments and user validation instruments using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that the overall application validity test results obtained percentages of 84%, 80%, and 90%, which means that the developed application is valid and feasible to use. The results of user validity using the SUS score are in the excellent category with a value of 72.95, and the results of the application effectiveness assessment based on a user survey get 8.68 results, which means that the application is practical to be able to improve the basic techniques of Bolabakset. This study concludes that the application product that has been made is in the appropriate category based on the results of expert evaluations and is effective for improving basic basketball techniques based on survey results to users.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this service is to inform about the dangers of hypokinetics for growth and development in children. Hypokinetics is a condition of being sedentary such as the use of remote controls, computers, elevators and escalators, without being balanced with physical activity which will cause disease due to lack of movement. This information was conveyed to TAAM and KOBER teachers and parents in Cibereum District, Tasikmalaya City, with the hope that this will become part of the main task for Kober and TAAM teachers who must be able to overcome the problem of hypokinetic disease, especially in children. Teachers and parents must be able to continue to motivate children to continue to be active in their daily lives. Kober and TAAM teachers are also required to provide good movement experiences for children so that children's growth and development are good too. With this activity, finally the teachers and parents know the solution that must be done to be able to overcome the presence of hypokinetic disease in children.ABATRAKTujuan pengabdian ini untuk menginformasikan mengenai bahayanya hipokinetik terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada anak. Hipokinetik adalah kondisi kurang bergerak seperti penggunaan remote control, komputer, lift dan tangga berjalan, tanpa dimbangi dengan aktifitas fisik yang akan menimbulkan penyakit akibat kurang gerak. Informasi ini disampaikan kepada para guru dan orang tua TAAM dan KOBER di Kecamatan Cibereum Kota Tasikmalaya, dengan harapan Ini menjadi bagian tugas utama untuk guru Kober dan TAAM yang mana harus mampu mengatasi masalah penyakit hipokinetik terutama pada anak. Guru dan orang tua harus mampu terus memotivasi anak untuk terus bergerak aktif dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya. Guru Kober dan TAAM dituntut pula untuk memberikan pengalaman gerak yang baik untuk anak agar pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak baik pula. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini akhirnya para guru dan orang tua mengetahui solusi yang harus di lakukan untuk bisa menanggulangi adanya penyakit hipokinetik kepada anak.

Abstract

This research is a follow-up study to test the effectiveness of learning media based on android applications that have been developed and validated by experts in previous studies. The Penjas Unsil Basketball Guige (PUBbG) application has been successfully created and validated by experts with good criteria,, which can already be tested for implementation on students, and research articles have been published in the JUARA Sinta 3 Journal. Therefore, in this study, the researcher attempted to investigate the effect of using an Android application-based learning media called Penjas Unsil Basketball Guide (PUBbG) in increasing students' understanding and basic techniques of playing basketball. As an illustration of the information in the Unsil Basketball Guide (PUBbG) Penjas application which includes a video tutorial on basic techniques that must be mastered by students at a minimum, along with a narrative text module which supports the video. The research method used is an experimental method with a pretest-posttest design to determine the effect of applying products made to increasing understanding and basic basketball techniques. Participants in this study were students of Physical Education at Siliwangi University. The instrument used was a student comprehension test with the Basketball Common Content Knowledge test and the Basic Basketball Skills Technique Test. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used is the t test to determine the effectiveness of the product used by testing the differences in pre-test and post-test results after implementing android application products and comparing them with the control group. The results showed that even though the two groups both showed an increase, only the understanding of students who had a significant difference with the experimental group had more impact than the control group. Whereas in basic technical skills, there was no significant difference between the two groups.
