Abstract

This research aim to build and implement the Foods Menu Recommendation System into android platform. This application is built using the android studio 2.0 and SQLite database. Recommendation system is a software that means to help the user by giving a recommendation to them when user face the problem to take a decision, as example what book to read, what music to listen, etc. this system have a function to give a food menu recommendation which build by some formula to count the Body Mass Index (BMI), Body Metabolic Rate (BMR), Ideal Weight, and caloric needs by using the users data weight, height, age, gender, and physical activity. From the users caloric needs, system will get some food menus from SQLite database which the total amount of the caloric needs of the food menu reach almost the same with the users caloric needs.

Abstract

Getting a job that suits the personality of the self is the thing that everyone wants. This Final Project discusses the design of psychological test application based on personality theory of Myers and Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) for job field determination and interest and job recommendation with Android based programming. The purpose of this research is to implement the theory of MBTI into the form of Android-based applications to assist users in identifying their MBTI personality types. After completing the test, the application will display psychotest results describing the behavior, habits, strengths and weaknesses of respondents and their character types based on four dimensional comparisons of MBTI theory: Extrovert-introvert, Sensing-Intuition, Thinking-Feeling, and Judging-Perceiving. The app will also feature personality characteristics, development suggestions, and field work alongside. recommendation of vacancy appropriate to the MBTI type of personality.

Abstract

One of the way that company do to get qualified employees is to select the candidates by selection process. In order to perform employee selection more efficient and to avoid the subjectivity of the decision, a Decision Support System (DSS) is required to assist the Human Resource Manager to make the decision making. This research uses Decision Tree method to determine the choice. The results show there are 2 of the 20 test data that is false in prediction. Prediction accuracy is calculated using confusion matrix and the accuracy is 0.9.

Abstract

UD Putra Mas is developing its business by granting credit on automobile purchases. The criteria of calculation used to determine the decision on credit grant is based on the amount of salary, saving, expense, credit count, and a complete set of documents. The process itself meets a couple of obstacles, such as the piling stacks of debtors’ archives in the cabinet and the difficulty in data searching. The purpose of this research is to overcome the obstacles mentioned above. The application used to develop the system is Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2003 as the data management media. The system created is a Decision Support System using Decision Tree Method to obtain the model. The research is based on the result of an interview with the head of UD Putra Mas to collect significant information required by the system. The output of this system is alternative of choices. This research results in a Decision Support System for Credit Grant which helps the head of UD Putra Mas in making decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to build and implement prediction system of smartphone damage on the android platform. This application was built using android studio 2.0 and SQLite database. The recommendation system is a software that aims to assist users by providing recommendations to users when users are faced with large amounts of information. Recommendations are expected to help users in the decision-making process, such as what items to buy, what laptops will be used, or what songs will be heard, and more. This system serves to provide prediction of damage to the smartphone built from the calculation of user input parameters in the form of questions about the symptoms experienced by users on their smartphone, then will generate predictions about the possibility of damage experienced by using methods naïve bayes and laplace smoothing, this method is used in determining an event using previously collected data. The results of this study indicate that the accuracy is not satisfactory with an accuracy rate of 20%.

Abstract

This research intend to apply Hill Climbing method to system for diagnose nervous disorders by making an application using android programming. In this system there is symptoms of nervous diseases data which the authors get directly from the results of interviews with a neurologist in the place where author doing research. Hill Climbing method is used to look for possible diseases of nervous disorders by observing the symptoms experienced by the user. The results of the implementation of the system by applying Hill Climbing method to diagnose nervous disorders showed that this method can provide the result of temporary diagnosis in the form of early information about the possibility of disease which suffered by the user.

Abstract

Machine learning adalah sebuah teknologi yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendeteksi suatu objek. Pada penelitian ini machine learning digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tanaman hias pada aplikasi Tierra dan akan memanfaatkan website teachable machine yang menerapkan algoritma convolutional neural network sebagai tools dalam membuat sebuah model machine learning. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan studi dokumen, selanjutnya dihitung persentasi akurasi hasil pengujian. Untuk proses training data pada website teachable machine akan menggunakan 30 gambar tanaman hias dan hasil yang didapat setelah melakukan pengujian menunjukkan tingkat akurasi machine learning menggunakan tools teachable machine adalah sebesar 89% yang artinya machine learning cukup baik untuk diimplementasikan dalam mengidentifikasi tanaman hias pada aplikasi Tierra.

Abstract

Software testing needs to be done to avoid defects or fatal errors in the software. This study discusses how to do white box testing on the website Room, which is a service to assist in making guest books and events. The software testing method used is white box testing with the basis path technique as a test case design method. The basis path technique consists of making flow graphs, calculating cyclomatic complexity, graph matrix, determining independent paths, and making test cases. Then added with the calculation of the level of risk based on the amount of cyclomatic complexity. The test results show that white box testing with the basis path technique can be used to find defects or errors in the software. There are 68 test scenarios with a low risk level of 94% for defects and a medium risk level of 6%. Then from 352 test paths, there are 192 pass paths, 5 fail paths, 114 error catch paths, and 41 paths with incorrect conditions.

Abstract

Abstract: The system quality can be affected by user involvement. It is necessary to implement User Centered Design (UCD) in the UI/UX Design of the Worker's Website. This study aims to evaluate and redesign the UI/UX of Worker's Websites with the UCD and SUS (System Usability Scale) methods in order to make it easier for prospective workers or the public to use website profiling. Data was collected via interview with 30 responds where the results of the interviews are used as a reference for making new designs and then evaluating the new designs with a closed questionnaire to the same respondents. The result of SUS method questionnaire revealed that new design by using UCD was in the excellent category with score 84. It can be concluded that UI/UX design with a UCD allows easy to use worker's website.

Abstract

User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) are important things to ensure the Invitees website can meet the needs of its users. In addition, an attractive and understandable interface will be the main attraction for potential users. This study used the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method and involves a System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire distributed to 30 respondents for the initial UI/UX evaluation of the Invitees website and evaluation of the solution design after repair. From the results of the first evaluation, an average SUS score of 77.08 was obtained, which means that it is still acceptable to users. Then solution designs are made to improve some parts of the website according to the suggestions received from respondents also to increase the SUS score. The results of the evaluation of the solution design obtained an average score of 80.75 which means that there was an increase in the usability value after improvements were made according to the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method.
