Abstract

Tahfizh Al-quran is a form of religious activity that has the meaning of preserving and maintaining the Al-quran, so that counterfeiting and alteration activities do not occur and can guard against forgetfulness, either in whole or in part. The current problem with the pandemic condition has made some students and even the community maintain a distance in carrying out their daily activities, especially the Al-Quran memorization activities carried out by MTT Miftahul Janah. This aspect causes all forms of activities to be carried out online considering that the activities of Tahfiz Al-Quran activities must continue to run, on the other hand this problem makes it unscheduled and well documented for all forms of Al-Quran memorization activities. The purpose of making this application is so that students and the public as well as tutors can monitor all Tahfizh Alquran activities on MTT Miftahul Janah run without obstacles, are scheduled and documented. This application was developed by applying a process model with an iterative process flow, namely an iterative / incremental model. In the waterfall model, each development process is carried out sequentially, starting from communication, planning, modeling, construction to deployment, so that the next iteration will be carried out after the previous iteration is complete or in conjunction with the previous iteration. The result was a prototype of a mobile-based Android application system with the firebase platform to support the activities of Tahfizh Al-quran at MTT Miftahul Janah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Internet of Things (IoT) in education. This type of research is meta-analysis research. The research sample came from an analysis of 13 national and international journals. Search research data through google Scholar, ERIC, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest databases. Data search keywords are Internet of Things and Internet of Things in Education. The inclusion criteria in the meta-analysis are publications in 2020-2023, research related to the internet of things in education, publications from indexed journals SINTA, Scopus, and WOS, and research reporting complete data to calculate effect size values. Analysis uses quantitative analysis by calculating the value of effect size with the help of Comperehensive meta-analysis (CMA) applications. The results concluded that the average value of effect size was 0. 95 with high ketogeri effect size. These findings explain the significant influence of the Internet of things in education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of inquiry learning-based REACT learning to improve students' critical thinking skills. This research is a type of quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The data source comes from an analysis of 14 national and international journals published in 2020-2023. Data search process by searching the Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, ERIC and IEEE databases. Data collection techniques are direct observation and documentation. Data selection uses the PRISMA method which consists of identification, screening, eligibility and inclusion. Data analysis by calculating the effect size value from each relevant study with the help of JSAP software. The research results show that there is a positive influence of inquiry learning-based REACT learning on students' critical thinking skills with an average effect size value (ES = 0.872) in the high category. The findings explain that REACT learning based on inquiry learning is effective for improving students' critical thinking skills at school.

Abstract

Batola Residence housing is one of the residential institutions provided by the government for the lower middle class people with adequate facilities and infrastructure for housing residents. Management and storage of population data is still done in a manual way such as archived in a copy of the book. This resulted in less than optimal service to citizens because it takes a long time to get accurate information. The system used to manage population data can assist Block Chairs and Officers in matters of service to residents such as making reports or correspondence related to the population of Batola Residence Housing. This system was developed using the SDLC Methodology (System Development Life Cycle) waterfall model with the stages of communication, planning, modeling and construction. At the system design stage using ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) and DFD (Data Flow Diagrams), namely Context Diagram, DFD Level 1 and DFD Level 2. The web development framework uses the Codeigneter Framework, which contains and arranges the programming languages PHP, HTML, and Javascript , and the MySQL query language. In the last stage for system testing using the Black Box Testing technique to get the results of all features running smoothly and the results of testing this system are in accordance with functional requirements.

Abstract

Digital learning transformation has become an essential need in the era of Industry 4.0, particularly for younger generations with limited access to technology. This community service program was carried out to address the lack of ICT subjects and limited computer literacy among students at MTS Pembangunan. The training, conducted by lecturers from the Informatics Engineering Department of Politeknik Hasnur, employed the Discussion Group Learning (DGL) method an approach that combines group discussions with hands-on practice. A total of 78 students from grades VII to IX participated in the training, which focused on basic Microsoft Word functions such as text formatting, table creation, and image insertion. The evaluation results revealed that 96.2% of students successfully completed the practical tasks, and the session was marked by active engagement and high enthusiasm. These outcomes demonstrate that well-structured yet simple training using participatory methods can significantly improve students' digital literacy. This finding reinforces the importance of applying active learning methods to empower young people with digital skills, preparing them for future educational and professional challenges.
