Abstract

Kegiatan ini muncul dengan didasarkan pada permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh dua usaha kecil dalam kegiatan ini, yaitu berupa keterbatasan akses pasar, rendahnya produktivitas dan kurangnya inovasi. Usaha kecil mitra dalam kegiatan ini bergerak dalam bidang jasa fabrikasi terutama dalam bidang pengelasan. Peluang pasar dalam bidang usaha ini masih terbuka seiring dengan berkembangnya kegiatan perekonomian di daerah eks Karesidenan Surakarta. Permasalahan utama yang dirasakan oleh kedua mitra kegiatan adalah, meskipun telah berdiri cukup lama, namun pengembangan pasar kedua mitra dirasakan kurang begitu cepat dikarenakan keterbatasan akses pasar yang dikarenakan oleh keterbatasan inovasi yang dilakukan dalam merebut pasar hal tersebut diduga karena belum lengkapnya peralatan yang dimiliki oleh kedua mitra kegiatan tersebut. Untuk memecahkan permasalah tersebut diatas, maka dilakukan strategi penciptaan produk khusus yang ditopang oleh strategi inovasi dan teknologi dengan mempertimbangkan tingkat teknologi produksi yang digunakan guna merebut pelanggan dan pasar yang ada berupa peningkatan kapasitas produksi mitra dengan mengintroduksikan beberapa peralatan produksi untuk meminimalkan outsourcing dan memacu munculnya kreativitas dalam membuat produk baru dan perlunya peningkatan skill mitra dalam hal desain produk baru guna membuka pasar guna peningkatan usaha mitra,

Abstract

Integrated Farming System, atau sistem pertanian terpadu didefinisikan sebagai penggabungan semua komponen pertanian dalam suatu sistem usaha pertanian yang terpadu. Sistem ini mengedepankan ekonomi yang berbasis teknologi ramah lingkungan dan optimalisasi semua sumber energi yang dihasilkan. Di Indonesia, model usaha ini masih sebatas wacana karena masih kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat dan diperlukan modal yang cukup tinggi. Padahal usaha ini sangat cocok digunakan di Indonesia yang memiliki iklim tropis dengan limpahan sinar matahari sepanjang tahun dan curah hujan tinggi. Dalam kegiatan ini akan dilaksanakan awalan kegiatan IFS dengan memperkenalkan teknologi perikanan darat dengan 3 metoda yaitu dengan menggunakan buis beton, terpal dan dalam bak semen.

Abstract

Juwiring sub-district is one of the rices producing centers in Klaten. Most of his seats count on living as farmers, but things are disturbed by the fact that in recent years the harvest of rice in one of the largest rice producers in Klaten Regency can is said to be less successful due to attacks of leafhoppers and rat pests. This is impact on the lives of farmers and their families, especially in the three sub-districts the a.m. Capital issued to cultivate rice fields cannot be covered by for failing to harvest. The incident impacted farmers in the which is increasingly difficult to sustain his needs. Drape life in the agricultural sector, it is increasingly difficult because of many factors including the risk of crop failure and the high cost of production resulting in low income received per harvest. Therefore, the target group together with the team of advocates to solve the problem through efforts to training and establishment of new business groups in the field of land fisheries save water by invading fish enlargement ponds with a system of land fisheries with no running water.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the understanding of the Nusukan Surakarta Traditional Market merchants towards non-cash payment methods by utilizing the QRIS (Quick Response Indonesia Standard) barcode. This education is carried out by cooperating with partner from Permata Bank Surakarta in the form of a webinar through the Google Meet platform aimed at market merchants, as well as door to door outreach to their stalls. Through this outreach activity, merchants have a better understanding of the use of QRIS and the importance of implementing this cashless payment system in the future. The QRIS socialization conducted at the Nusukan Market has an impact on new knowledge for merchants about cashless payments and opening access for merchants who want to use QRIS. However, the limited access to technology by them is one of the constraining factors in this socialization.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the drying characteristics of Merkusii pine wood (Pinus merkusii Jungh. et de Vriese) using three methods, including the hot air drying, infrared, and combined infrared-hot air. The drying characteristics included temperature distribution, reduction in moisture content, drying rate, wood surface temperature distribution, and specific energy consumption (SEC). The results show that the combined infrared-hot air drying method produces a faster drying time and the highest drying rate compared to the only hot air or only infrared drying method. The fastest drying time was 345 min at a treatment temperature of 90°C, air velocity of 3 m/s, and the greatest drying rate was 0.429 gr/min at a temperature of 80°C, air velocity of 3 m/s. Additionally, the combined infrared hot air method produces a more uniform temperature distribution on the wood surface and lower specific energy consumption, specifically 1027.15 MJ/kg. Keywords: Drying, Hot air, Infrared, Temperature.
