Abstract

This research explain about garbage carrier roboboat. the purpose of making this robot is to reduce the trash found on river surfaces. Indonesia is an archipelagic country, this country dominated by ocean as rives estuary, however many of the resources produced from the sea have been polluted due to dirty and full of garbage from the river. So with the creation of this robot, it is expected to minimize the pollution. The shape of this robot is a boat that can operate in rivers and waters that still allows this robot to operate. This robot uses a brushless motor to move on the surface of the water and electronic speed control to control the brusless motor speed with the PWM setting method, for the navigation system the HC5409 ultrasonic sensor is used to detect any obstacles that avoid collisions, then image processing techniques are applied to detect garbage on the surface of the water, The Matlab R2012a program is an application used to process this image processing technique. In sum, the working process of this boat robot is, first, the navigating robot looks for garbage objects by detecting it using image processing. If garbage is detected, the robot will maneuver and activate brushless motors with garbage manuever algorithms, instructions sent from the microcontroller to Arduino Mega 2560, the robot approaches garbage object and crawl it. There are two garbage objects determined, namely styrefoam and a blue bottle, this boat can execute advanced, right and left maneuvers with the percentage of success reaching 80-90%. The advantage of this boat is that garbage objects can be detected from various directions and operate semi-automatically . Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of deregulation of the university system on the labor market. We used a sample of 100 people in this research. The research results indicate that without deregulation, most individuals who access university studies would likely only pursue their education. This study uses the year or birth cohort as an exogenous characteristic to implement the instrumental variable strategy. This makes it possible to estimate the causal impact of university education on several employment outcomes, especially wages and labor informality. An admitted university estimates that each year of study will increase the salary. We estimate the cumulative impact of access to university studies. However, the effect of university education on wages turns out to be heterogeneous, depending on individual socio-economic characteristics. The effect tends to be higher in women and individuals in the highest family income quintile. The evidence aligns with other international research regarding the salary premium of university education and its impact on human capital. The results show that for each year of university study, the probability of informality in employment decreases, notably reducing the probability of not having an employment contract. However, we found no significant impact on the probability of not having a pension fund affiliation, suggesting a structural dimension of informality in the labor market that may not be dependent on workers' education level.

Abstract

The composite material made is a sandwich composite, GRC-mortar. This system is composed of a combination of laminae with others through a wiremesh that binds Styrofoam. This composite system is used as an earthquake-resistant house wall, which is expected to be not only lightweight, but also rigid and strong, the mechanical testing involved is bending testing to determine the bending strength and modulus of elasticity of the variation in mortar massa of 20 kg, 30 kg and 40 kg. the highest bending strength is 0.88 Mpa given massa mortar 20 kg, the lowest bending value is given over a mass of 30 kg, which is 0.79 MPa. The highest modulus of elasticity is 30 kg of mortar mass, which is 0.005 MPa, while the massa of 20 kg and 40 kg of mortar has a modulus of elasticity value of 0.003 MPa respectively. The composite that provides optimal strength is at a mass of 20 kg, in addition to being quite resistant to high bending strength.
