Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan Quality of Service yang baik bagi seluruh pengguna internet dalam suatu jaringan dengan cara memanajemen bandwidth dengan metode Peer Connection Queue (PCQ) menggunakan Queue Tree. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah karena sering terjadi pembagian bandwidth yang tidak merata pada setiap user dalam suatu jaringan yang mengakibatkan satu user dapat mengakses internet dengan lebih cepat dan user lain mengakses internet dengan lebih lambat dibanding user lainnya. Dengan menerapkan metode Peer Connection Queue (PCQ) menggunakan Queue Tree, maka setiap user yang mengakses internet akan mendapatkan alokasi bandwidth yang merata. Pengujian menggunakan Mikrotik RouterBoard dengan beberapa komputer yang disambungkan via wired dan beberapa perangkat yang disambungkan melalui jaringan wireless. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa manajemen bandwidth dengan metode PCQ menggunakan Queue Tree memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan PCQ sebab dengan menggunakan PCQ semua user yang tergabung dalam satu jaringan mendapatkan alokasi bandwidth yang sama rata antara satu dan yang lain sehingga pengguna merasa adil. Yang mana artinya Quality of Service yang diberikan oleh penyedia jaringan sudah sangat baik. Kata Kunci : Bandwidth, Queue Tree, Quality of Service, QoS, Peer Connection Queue, PCQ, Mikrotik, Delay, Jitter, Throughput, Network Development Life Cylce (NDLC).

Abstract

ABSTRACT Public Complaints are information or notifications submitted by the public, public complaints containing complaints and or dissatisfaction related to the behavior and or implementation of duties and functions of government employees, which are carried out by government employees, and or information about alleged violations of the code of ethics or employee discipline committed by employees. government. Currently, the Sukadamai village office is still using the existing complaint contact, this is considered ineffective because the process is long so that the complaint is not immediately resolved, and the recording of complaint reports that still use paper is very at risk of being lost or damaged and it will take more time to find the complaint file. when needed. Therefore, researchers researched to analyze the current process and design an information system for Community Complaints Services to collect data, researchers conducted observations, surveys, and interviews at the Sukadamai Village Office. In the design of information systems, researchers use the UML (Unified Modeling Language) method to design the system to be built. Researchers hope that the designed information system can be used as a reference in the system development process in the future.

Abstract

Asset data management at PT Yuasa Battery Indonesia is still carried out manually using paper-based records, which may lead to data entry errors, duplication, and delays in providing asset information. These issues highlight the need for an integrated and structured information system to improve the efficiency and accuracy of asset management. This study aims to design and develop a web-based asset data management information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. The research methods include observation, interviews, and literature study, with system requirements analyzed using the PIECES approach. The system design was developed using UML modeling (use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, and ERD) and implemented using CodeIgniter, PHP, MySQL, and XAMPP. System testing was conducted using the black box testing method to ensure that all functions operate according to requirements. The results show that the designed system facilitates digital and real-time recording, management, tracking, and reporting of asset data. In conclusion, the developed information system provides a solution to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s asset management. It is recommended that the system be implemented gradually and enhanced with data security features and automatic backup systems to ensure data accuracy and sustainability.
