Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the professional competence of Grade IV Indonesian teachers at The Central Ende Catholic Primary School in Ende Regency. Professional competence relates to the teacher's ability to master materials and teaching tasks. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in this study were Indonesian teachers, principals, and grade IV students. The object of this research is the professional competence of teachers of Bahasa Indonesia subjects. Data collection using interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis is conducted descriptively qualitatively. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the professional competence of Indonesian teachers in grade IV in Catholic primary schools in Central Ende subdistrict is relatively good. Professional competencies that have been mastered by teachers include the ability of teachers in mastering materials, structures, concepts, and scientific mindsets, the ability of teachers in mastering the standard of competence and basic competencies of the Indonesian language, the ability of teachers in developing indonesian language learning materials creatively, and the ability of teachers in developing professionally in a sustainable manner. Thus, it can be concluded that the overall professional competence of indonesian language teachers in grade IV as threatening as Ende Tengah needs to be maintained and also organized efforts to continuously improve the professional competence of teachers in accordance with the development of science and technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) To find out the Application of Local Plant Media in Increasing Student Learning Activities of Grade IV SDI Onekore 4, Ende Utara District, Ende Regency. (2). To find out the increase in student learning activities in class IV SDI Onekore 4, Ende Utara District, Ende Regency. This type of research used is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 32 students in grade IV Onekore 4 SDI. Furthermore, data collection techniques are carried out through observation and tests. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the use of local plant media to identify science learning activities in class IV SDI Onekore 4 from cycle I to cycle II has increased. Cycle I obtained an average yield of 59.84 and in the cycle obtained an average of 70.80. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the science learning process by using local plant media can increase the learning activities of grade IV students of SDI Onekore 4, Ende Utara subdistrict, Ende Regency.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that students' mastery of English vocabulary is still low. This research aims to describe improving English vocabulary learning outcomes through the use of flash card media for class IV students at SDI Woloara. This research is a type of classroom action research. The results of this research show that the use of flash card media can increase students' mastery of English vocabulary which can be seen in each cycle, namely in the pre-test it showed a result of 12.5%, then it began to increase in cycle I, namely 41.67% and experienced an increase in cycle II to 100 %. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of flash card media can improve the English vocabulary mastery of class IV SDI Woloara students.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem of this study is whether there is a difference in the skills of writing pantun in grade IV students of Catholic Elementary School Gugus 1 Sembur Paus Lamalera by applying the Think Talk Write model? The objectives to be achieved in this study are to test whether there is a difference in the skills of writing pantun in grade IV students of Elementary School Gugus 1 Sembur Paus Lamalera by applying the Think Talk Write model. The type of research in this study is experimental research chosen if the study wants to answer a problem by providing empirical evidence. The data collection technique used in this study is a test. The results of the study showed that the average score of the results of the pantun writing test taught using the TTW model was 95.36; based on the established categorization criteria, the average score of the Indonesian language learning outcomes was categorized as very high. And the average result of the pantun writing test using the conventional model was 76.07, based on the categorization criteria used, the average score of the Indonesian language learning outcomes was in the high category. This shows that the results of the test of writing pantun of students who are taught using the TTW model are different from the results of writing pantun of students who are taught using the conventional model.

Abstract

Mastery of English as an international language is an international language is an important need in the word of education, including at the elementary school level. However, the monotonous and less varied learning processes often causes low interest and motivation of students in learning English. This Community Service Activity (PKM) was carried out in class V at SDN Roworeke 2 with 11 students which aims to improve the quality of English learning trough the use of media and fun learning techniques. The methods used included demonstration, question and answer methods as well as the use of activite learning techniques such as educational games and songs. The result of the activity showed an uncrease in student enthusiasm and participation in learning, this activity was also able to increase interest and motivation in learning English.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji tentang proses pembelajaran keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks cerita pendek dengan metode P2R pada peserta didik kelas V SDI Ende 14. Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, tes keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks cerita pendek, dan dokumentasi. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran membaca teks cerita pendek dengan metode P2R dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran dan keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks cerita pendek. Meningkatanya proses pembelajaran ditandai dengan meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran membaca pemahaman teks cerita pendek dengan menggunakan metode P2R pada siklus I dengan persentase 68,18% sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat dengan persentase 95,45%. Hasil tes keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks cerita pendek dengan metode P2R pada siklus I yaitu 55,5% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 100%.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji tentang proses pembelajaran keterampilam membaca permulaan peserta didik kelas III SD Inpres Ende 7 dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan membaca permulaan menggunakan media gambar, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, test keterampilam membaca permulaan. Hasil penelitian pembelajaran keterampilan membaca permulaan menggunakan media gambar dapat meningkat kualitas proses pembelajaran dan keterampilan membaca permulaan peserta didik. Meningkatnya proses pembelajaran ditandai dengan meningkatnya keaktifan peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran keterampilan membaca permulaan menggunakan media gambar pada siklus I dengan presentase 68,18% sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat dengan presentase 95,45%. Hasil tes membaca permulaan pada siklus I yaitu 61,53% meningkat pada siklus II 100%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the form, meaning, and function of the hedung text in the Leworahang community, East Flores district. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Data was collected using the interview, note-taking, and documentation methods. The theory used in this research is cultural linguistic theory. The result of this study indicate that the form, meaning, and function of the hedung text in the Leworahang community, East Flores district have (1) grammatical aspects: reference (reference) namely persona and demonstrative reference; (2) lexical aspects, namely synonyms (equivalents) and antonyms (opposite word). Religious meaning and the meaning of respect for ancestors. Cultural function and social function.
