Abstract

The diversity of motor vehicle insurance products sold at PT Asuransi Central Asia cabang Cikini makes the choice of products can be tailored to the needs of each insurance buyer. This difference in needs is of course an important thing to be considered by the company in preparing a work plan in the future. By knowing market share and future market share changes, companies can more easily recognize the buying interest and selling power of the products they have. Market share and market share shifts between products in the future can be predicted using the Markov chain method. The result obtained is that insurance companies need to pay more attention to products that are still less desirable judging by the number of sales in a year. This aims to maintain the stability of product sales, especially the company's superior products to be more competitive when juxtaposed with conventional products sold also in other insurance companies.

Abstract

The quality of public services is an important factor in building public trust in government institutions, including the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). This study aims to analyze the quality of public services at the KUA Bandung Wetan, Bandung City, using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Potential Gain in Customer Value (PGCV) methods. The IPA method is used to identify gaps between the level of importance and service performance based on public perception, while PGCV is used to measure the potential for service value improvement by identifying attributes that significantly impact customer satisfaction. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach with a questionnaire distributed to 46 respondents. The IPA analysis results indicate two indicators that should be prioritized for improvement: Timeliness (KW2) and Transparency of Procedures (TP1), as they have high importance values but suboptimal performance. The PGCV calculations confirm that improvements in these two indicators have the potential to significantly enhance the perceived value of services by the public. This study contributes theoretically by integrating the IPA and PGCV approaches in public service evaluation based on ServQual, and practically by providing strategic improvement recommendations for KUA to sustainably enhance public satisfaction.

Abstract

When an insurance claim occurs, there is often a difference of opinion between the insurer and the insured in interpreting the contents of the policy. In order to resolve claim disputes, according to the clauses in the policy, an opinion from an independent third party is needed. The purpose of third party involvement is to provide an opinion from another point of view. In this research, it is described how third parties are involved in resolving an insurance claim. Starting from the incident report, it was reported that a fire had occurred at latitude coordinates 7°25'26"S and longitude 112°43'33"E. Appointed investigators visit places affected by the fire to carry out inspections at the scene and investigate the origin of the fire and look for possible causes of the fire. Using forensic methods that include on-site investigation, damage analysis, witness statements, interpretation, and deductive reasoning processes,  data collected in the field is then analyzed to be tested against a number of proposed hypotheses. Debris and electrical cable samples were collected for further analysis. Based on physical evidence collected during the investigation, it was discovered that the fire started in the northwest portion of the building. The results of the findings were then traced by tracing the parts of the building that were damaged, and investigators found an electrical short circuit  due to a failure in the lights. These findings are then analyzed by the insurance claims team to determine the amount of the claim that must be paid by the insurer. There were no suspicious elements or circumstances surrounding the fire and other possible causes of the fire have been considered and ruled out.

Especially in Indonesia, with a population of 281.6 million people, it represents an attractive target market for the F&B industry. One of the strategies that companies in the lifestyle and F&B industry can implement is to offer live music, events, and other forms of entertainment to attract the public and encourage customer loyalty to the industry. This study aims to analyze risk management in decision-making by the entertainment brand owner at MIMI LIVEHOUSE. The research uses a qualitative approach and using interviews as the primary method applying risk management analysis stages, which include risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation, risk assessment, and risk control. The findings of this study show that risk identification is carried out before the performers go on stage in order to detect any issues that might disrupt the performance. Risk analysis is conducted through rehearsals to minimize errors during performances. Risk evaluation is done by holding daily briefings with the talent and more comprehensive evaluations every three months. Abstract

The application of the bankruptcy model using the Altman Z-score model is carried out to predict financial difficulties by using balance sheet analysis which can reflect the company's financial performance. Insurance companies are needed to minimize risks and uncertainties for futureprotection. Altman's Z-score model is analyzed through the calculation results if it is smaller than <1.1 it is concluded that the company is at high risk, if the calculation results are 1.1-2.6 it is concluded that the company is prone to bankruptcy, and if the calculation result is> 2.6 itcan be said that the company is healthy. So that the probability of bankruptcy can be estimated using the Z- score Altman method. This modeling can be used by insurance companies in making decisions. Abstract

The general insurance industry in Indonesia faces the challenge of low market penetration (below 4%) due to minimal risk literacy and public trust. Insurance agents play a central role as educators and bridges of trust, but strategies to strengthen their position in emerging markets have not been explored holistically. This study aims to formulate strategies to strengthen agent quality in order to advance market share through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using the TCCM (Theory, Context, Characteristics, Methodology) framework. Using the PRISMA 2020 protocol, this study selected 1,000 articles from the Google Scholar and Emerald Insight databases (2016–2026), resulting in 30 relevant final articles. The analysis results show a surge in post-pandemic research interest and a dominance of studies from emerging market contexts that emphasize the “Phygital” (Physical + Digital) approach. This study proposes the “Hybrid-Trusted Agent” model, which integrates digital competence, ethical behavior, and technical expertise as key determinants of market performance. In conclusion, the transformation from transactional sales to relationship marketing is essential to improve customer retention and sustainable market growth.
