Abstract

The goal of the research is to improve students’ motivation and to enhance students’ learning result. The development of the teaching book on Sports Nutrition refers to the 4D models which consist of 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate, modified to be adapted to this research. The analysis of quantitative descriptive is used to process quantitative data that gained from the expert validation sheet (material, language, media) to know the advisability of the textbook. Product trials are carried out by comparing previous learning motivation data and after textbooks are used by students. Then the learning outcomes data were analyzed to determine the N-Gain value between pretest and posttest. Based on the results of expert validation, it is known that the Sports Nutrition textbook is proper and can be used as a lecture textbook with a material validation score of 91.6% (valid), language validation of 87.5% (valid) and 80% media validation (sufficient valid). The results of analysis of students learning result data are obtained an average pretest score of 6.86 and the average post-test score is 7.73. In conclusion, there is an increase of 0.87 and to be gotten N-Gain of 0.3 with the medium category. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the development of Sports Nutrition textbooks increases students' motivation and improves student learning outcomes Physical Education and Recreation IKIP Budi Utomo Malang.

Abstract

Mathematics is a lesson that forms thinking patterns, organizing patterns, logical proofs. Elementary school students will be able to understand mathematics with concrete operations, therefore learning in elementary school must begin by presenting concrete or realistic problems so that students can carry out the learning process directly and real. The results of observations and observations as well as interviews conducted by researchers to classroom teachers in grade IV, the most prominent problem is the low value of student learning outcomes in several subjects, especially mathematics. Students look busy themselves, not immediately working on questions but playing, arranging writing tools, doing things that should not be done during the learning process, for example cutting paper, drawing cartoons. Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI) is a learning theory in mathematics that provides human activities to be learned by working on mathematical problems. The application of the PMRI approach can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in the average value of student learning outcomes which previously averaged 60.2% of students' mathematics learning outcomes in the first cycle to 84.35% in the second cycle. Student responses to the implementation of the PMRI approach were very positive. This is indicated by an increase in the average positive response of students from 69% in the first cycle to 80.7 in the second cycle

Abstract

Craft arts will continue to develop and become more interesting and unique as time goes by. The world of art is actually able to create diversity that is of interest to many groups. There are many unique phenomena in the development of woven art or also known as woven. Wicker is basically an inanimate object that can be related to daily activities, especially in the world of architecture or craft products which include interior and exterior aesthetic values. This woven material can be made into a miniature form which can produce various kinds of results such as baskets, mats, bags and crafts. This woven material can be made using various media, for example paper, bamboo, ribbon, etc. Creativity is part of the field of fine arts that can be used in production or creative activities. Various activities in the field of fine arts can provide opportunities to develop the creativity of elementary school children. Creative activities can enable young children to channel their creative talents through several activities, including: drawing; print; stick. Not all children are motivated to channel their talents because there is less encouragement from adults. The cause of low creativity among children in Indonesia is an environment that does not support children to express their creativity, especially the family and school environment. SBDP focuses on students learning skills and arts, this activity can train skills, be creative, actively innovative, for students to work well into the future.

Abstract

Students majoring in PJKR are closer to the world of sports, namely as extracurricular coaches according to sports, sports teachers, instructors or the like. So with this training, it is hoped that it will be able to provide other provisions for field development in business. Implementation of activities: survey of training venues and objectives; then giving a briefing to the training participants (students) of Makrame; prepare makrame training materials and tools; the implementation of makrame training; evaluation of makrame training; and reports of Makrame training service activities. The activity was carried out on the UIBU campus majoring in PJKR, held from April 10 to 21, 2025. Materials needed in makrame training include: 3mm makrame rope, hanging rings, scissors, clear plaster. The initial knowledge of PJKR students in the form of handicrafts in the form of makrame is 10%, after the training is carried out, the knowledge becomes 95%.

Abstract

The development of fine motor skills in elementary school-aged children is crucial for academic achievement and daily activities. However, some children still experience delays in fine motor skills due to lack of stimulation, a lack of varied teaching methods, and the impact of technology use and learning after the pandemic. This study aims to improve fine motor skills in elementary school children through Educational Activities Using LEGO Bricks. The method used is a play-based learning approach integrated into thematic learning. The activities were conducted in several structured sessions, including an introduction, core activities, and reflection and evaluation. Participants were elementary school students who actively participated in LEGO assembly activities both individually and in groups. The results showed improvements in fine motor skills, evident in improvements in hand-eye coordination, accuracy, concentration, and manipulative abilities. Students also demonstrated great enthusiasm and progress in creativity when creating various types of works. The discussion indicates that playing with LEGO is beneficial for training small muscles in the hands through pinching, pressing, and arranging activities, as well as supporting cognitive development and a passion for learning. In other words, the LEGO Brick Educational Play Movement has proven to be an innovative and fun learning medium, as well as effective in developing the fine motor skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools is often considered complicated and uninteresting by students, resulting in low interest and enthusiasm for learning. This situation is also evident at Ulil Albab Elementary School in Kepanjen, where students tend to be inactive and less likely to participate in the learning process. Therefore, innovations in learning are needed to create a more engaging and interactive learning environment. This community service activity aims to maximize the use of the mathematical snakes and ladders media in creating a fun learning experience for elementary school students. The applied method is participatory and educational, with stages of preparation, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The practical process is carried out through educational games based on snakes and ladders combined with math problems. The results of this activity show an increase in student activity, motivation, and understanding of the mathematics material. Furthermore, students also showed a positive response to the learning experience. Thus, the use of the mathematical snakes and ladders media has proven successful in creating a fun learning experience and can be an innovative alternative in mathematics learning in elementary schools.
