Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the perceptions of primary school teachers in Central Semarang District were. This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data was collected by in-depth interview and observation methods. Research subjects were 8 people consisting of 3 health teachers, 3 regular teachers, 1 vice principal and 1 principal. Data were analyzed by means of content analysis. The results showed that the perceptions of the primary school teachers in Central Semarang Subdistrict showed concern about the condition of obese children while doing material in sports lessons, but the teacher also felt very happy and excited about the fat child. The feeling of excitement and excitement is still quite large so that the feeling of worry is not too big. The teacher is still considering the child's obesity is not a problem if the fat child can still do sports / movement material well not inferior to other children. The teacher also does not have great hopes / desires / motivations so that the fat child is less fat and becomes normal again. Perceptions like this will make the teacher's action not too strict / not too strong in overcoming child obesity problems.

Abstract

This international community service was conducted at Muslimeen Suksa School, Hatyai, Thailand. This PKM was conducted with the aim of providing training with the theme of Mindfullness to increase students' self-confidence. The problem that often occurs is that to motivate students' self-confidence, there is no specific curriculum that supports it. Moreover, students equivalent to high school prioritize emotional souls that are sometimes not accompanied by positive thinking, which has an impact on suboptimal self-confidence. Age is one of the considerations, considering that high school age is an age that prioritizes spontaneity or what is desired. Sometimes ideals have not been described by them. The method of this activity is in the form of training by distributing pretest and posttest answers to show participants' understanding before and after the material is given about Mindfullness, which is expected to increase students' self-confidence with the method being training that takes almost 3 hours, which is attended by around 75 students and 5 teachers and 1 principal. The results obtained in the form of descriptive qualitative by explaining and describing the conditions of participants who participated in this activity happily and enthusiastically, considering that this was the first activity to be followed and carried out by higher education institutions from Indonesia. The end of this activity is closed with relaxation

Abstract

Physics is a part of natural science that has the properties of processes, products and values. Most of the concepts of physics are formulas, but they can be tested through experiments. Along with technological developments in experiments often used technology-based aids, for example the use of PhET (Physics Education Technology) applications to determine gravitational acceleration through simple swivel arrangements. The simple rotation experiment was performed by giving variations in rope lengths of 50 cm, 60 cm, 70 cm, 80 cm, 90 cm, and 100 cm for each of the different bulk masses of 0.5 kg and 1 kg. The study aims to determine the value of gravitational acceleration in simple rotations using PhET applications. (Physics Education Technology). Research data is displayed in tables and graphs. The data analysis uses a linear regression equation between the length of the string (L) and the square of the period (T2). Large gravitational acceleration is obtained through the gradient of the linear equation of the longness of the rope (L). The magnitude of gravitational acceleration obtained for a 0.5 kg body mass was 9.50 m/s2, for a 1 kg body weight was 9.67 m /s2, and the average perception of gravity was 9.58 m / s2.
