Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transmissions of volatility spillovers from China, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan stock markets to the Indonesian stock market and prove an asymmetric effect on spillover volatility. The data retrieved from the stock index of each country in the period 2020. The analytical method used is the Exponential GARCH (EGARCH) specification developed by Nelson (1991). The results of data analysis show that there was no spillover of volatility from the stock markets of China, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan to the Indonesian stock market. The data analysis results also showed an asymmetric effect on the spillover of volatility from the stock markets of China, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan to the Indonesian stock market. DOI : https://doi.org/10.26905/jkdp.v25i2.5532

Abstract

Companies that have gone public will be listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and offer their shares to the public. Most banking companies are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Banking sector stocks attract investors' attention. Investors consider stock prices before making an investment. The share price is a reflection of the company. If the company's financial performance is good, the shares will be in demand by investors. To anticipate mistakes in determining the company in investing, investors can check the company's performance by assessing financial ratios. Financial ratios can be obtained from the company's financial statements. Financial ratios such as profitability ratios and solvency ratios can affect the company's share price. Investors in investing want to get dividends from the shares purchased. By getting dividends, investors can decide to reinvest. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability, solvency, dividends on stock prices in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022 either partially or simultaneously. The results showed that partially profitability as measured by ROA and dividends as measured by DPR had an effect on stock prices in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022. Solvency as measured by DER has no effect on stock prices in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022. Simultaneously profitability, solvency, dividends affect the share price of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022.

Abstract

Tujuan pendidikan di SMK ialah menghasilkan lulusan yang bukan saja siap kerja, melainkan juga memiliki peluang berwirausaha. Kemauan untuk berwirausaha masih kurang pada lulusan SMK Assa’adatul Abadiyah di Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah membangkitkan semangat berwirausaha melalui edukasi kewirausahaan dan pelatihan pemasaran digital, khususnya Tokopedia. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 28 April dan 8 Juni 2024 kepada 30 siswa kelas X dan XI beserta guru. Metode kegiatan berupa tes (pre dan post), simulasi, sharing pengalaman, diskusi, dan praktik wirausaha. Hasil kegiatan ini memperlihatkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa mengenai wirausaha dan pemasaran digital masih perlu ditingkatkan. Dari praktik wirausaha, siswa telah memperhatikan daya tarik, kebersihan, dan rasa produk, tetapi masih kurang dalam penghitungan harga jual, penjualan melalui Tokopedia, dan daya tarik kemasan. Pihak sekolah perlu secara kontinu menyelenggarakan praktik wirausaha, seperti bazar atau market day, meneruskan melatih pemasaran dan penjualan secara digital, dan mengundang alumni yang sukses untuk memotivasi berwirausaha.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to identify the role of gold and government bonds role as safe haven in Indonesian capital market during 2014-2018. In this study we analyze the influence of stock on gold and government return on bear market conditions, using quantile regression. The quantile regression method was used to analyze the data. The result if this study indicated that gold and government bonds cannot play a safe haven consistently throughout the study period due to political conditions, government policies and psychological factors (doubt) from investors. For the following research, researchers should examine more deeply about the factors that influence the loss of the role of safe haven in both investment instruments.

Abstract

Jakarta merupakan kota metropolitan. Walaupun demikian di Jakarta masih terdapat kampung kota yang salah satunya berada di kelurahan Utan Kayu Utara, Jakarta Timur. Seperti pada umumnya kampung kota maka rumah-rumah penduduknya rapat, terkesan padat dan kurang rapi. Berbagai macam aktifitas yang dilakukan penduduk di sini, salah satunya adalah membuka usaha di rumah tempat tinggalnya dan disebut usaha rumahan. Usaha yang dijalankan dari rumah ini merupakan matapencaharian mereka. Usaha mereka termasuk usaha mikro. Pelaku usaha rumahan banyak belum tahu dan menyadari mengenai pajak yang harus dibayarkan mereka ke pemerintah karena mereka telah melakukan usaha. Pelaku usaha rumahan merasa bahwa penghasilan mereka dari berusaha ini kecil hanya cukup untuk makan sehari-hari, dan kalau bisa menabung hanya sedikit. Sehingga mereka tidak merasa perlu untuk membayar pajak. Membayar pajak berarti harus keluar uang lagi, untuk hal yang tidak jelas manfaatnya. Sosialisasi dan edukasi mmengenai pajak bagi pelaku usaha diperlukan, agar mereka tidak takut untuk membayar pajak, mereka mengerti kegunaan pajak, mereka mau melaporkan pajaknya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of independent commissioner, profitability, leverage, company age, and company size to intellectual capital disclosure. The population in this research is property and real estate companies listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2012-2016. From 49 companies, there are 28 companies (140 observation data) which become the research sample. Data processing using Eviews 9. The result of the research shows that independent commissioner has significant effect on intellectual capital disclosure, profitability has no significant effect on intellectual capital disclosure, leverage has no significant effect on intellectual capital disclosure, firm age has significant effect on intellectual capital disclosure, and firm size has no significant effect on intellectual capital disclosure.Keywords- Independent Commissioner; Profitability; Leverage; Age Firm; Size Firm; Intellectual Capital Disclosure

Abstract

Menguasai konsep diri dan motivasi untuk sukses yang mumpuni merupakan suatu kompetensi yang tak terhindarkan bagi pada para guru-guru jaman sekarang terutama dalam menghadapi murid-murid yang berasal dari generasi Z. Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis - Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya (FEB Unika Atma Jaya) melakukan kerjasama dengan SMA Baiturrahman untuk memberikan pelatihan tentang konsep diri yang positif dan motivasi meraih kesuksesan untuk para guru-guru sekolah tersebut. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam ruang kelas secara tatap muka sehingga terbuka ruang untuk diskusi dan tanya jawab. Pelatihan konsep diri ditujukan untuk membentuk keperibadian yang lebih mengarah kepada bentuk perkembangan keperibadian individu dalam konteks lingkungan sekitarnya. Pelatihan motivasi meraih sukses adalah untuk membentuk salah satu karakter yang perlukan bagi para guru-guru agar kedepannya mampu bekerja dengan lebih produktif dan kreatif dalam menjalankan proses belajar mengajar dengan para murid yang diasuhnya.

Abstract

Oral speaking skills, particularly presentation skills, are continuously developed and improved throughout higher education so that students gain courage, confidence, and the ability to articulate their thoughts and opinions to others. Presentation skills are also a key requirement for university graduates entering the professional world. This study aims to examine students’ spoken utterances and oral language use during academic presentations at a private university in Jakarta, Indonesia. The research employs both qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. Data collection was conducted from May to July 2025, involving 122 student respondents. Qualitative data were obtained through observation and documentation in the form of recorded presentation videos. Quantitative data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire with four response options ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree. The findings indicate that in the aspect of speaking, more than 50% of the respondent's paid attention to clarity of articulation, emphasized important words, and adjusted their speech so it was neither too loud nor too soft. Additionally, more than 70% acknowledged that they regulated their volume appropriately and avoided monotonous intonation. However, regarding the use of formal Indonesian, 66% of respondents still mixed formal Indonesian with colloquial or conversational language; 44% continued to insert English words; and 35% still confused the use of the pronouns kita and kami. The study concludes that presentations in higher education are not merely the act of delivering material but also require careful control of stress, intonation, rhythm, and tempo, as well as the appropriate use of formal spoken Indonesian.
