Abstract

Local wisdom is a wealth that can be used as a philosophy of learning in life that is in accordance with the way of life of the local community. One of the local wisdoms in Bali that supports and can be utilized in this case is Nangun Sad Kerthi Loka Bali, as an alternative to the current government to provide character education based on local wisdom. As one of the things set forth as the vision and mission of the Governor of Bali in carrying out the development of Balinese society. Development does not only include physical and non-physical aspects, in this case the quality of the Balinese people themselves. The characters that can be formed from government programs in the vision of Nangun Sad Kerthi Loka Bali are the spirit of nationality, love for the country, caring for the environment, caring socially, and responsibility. This will be a provision to keep abreast of global progress and still strengthen local wisdom as one's identity.

Abstract

Differentiated learning in fifth-grade elementary schools in the Untung Surapati cluster, East Denpasar District, has not yet been maximized. Teachers face challenges in implementing differentiated learning when teaching sentence structure. This issue needs to be examined to determine solutions that can be used in sentence structure teaching. The methods used for data collection include observation, interviews, and document analysis. The challenges faced by teachers include: 1) limited teaching staff. To address this, students are divided into several groups. 2) Difficulty understanding the concept of sentence structure. To overcome this difficulty, teachers can use the picture-and-picture method with the assistance of keywords. 3) Limited teaching time. This can be addressed by collaborating with fellow teachers in developing teaching materials. 4) With a large number of students, implementing cooperative learning can be a solution to handling large classes. 5) Teachers' skills in implementing differentiated learning are not yet optimal. Teachers are given opportunities to attend training sessions. 6) Each student has different needs, interests, and skill levels. To address this, teachers create flexible assessment rubrics. 7) Teachers use various teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of students. Adjusting assessments to different teaching approaches becomes a challenge for teachers. Teachers should create assessment instruments based on the methods applied in teaching.

Abstract

Diangkatnya topik ini karena di abad ke-21 ini, dunia mengalami perubahan yang sangat cepat. Perubahan ini menyangkut di segala lini kehidupan, yaitu bidang ekonomi, transportasi, teknologi, komunikasi, informasi, dan lain-lain. Perubahan ini perlu diantisipasi dengan menguasai keterampilan abad ke-21. Keterampilan abad ke-21 ini meliputi berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah, kreativitas dan inovasi, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. Pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 ini dapat dilakukan pada semua disiplin. Salah satu tantangan nyata bagi lembaga pendidikan harus mampu menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kompetensi lengkap, yang dikenal dengan kompetensi atau keterampilan abad 21.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pembelajaran project citizen dalam mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21. Jenis kualitatif yang digunakan ialah studi pustidaka yang dapat digunakan untuk mengkaji topik adalah 1) penentuan sumber data 2) seleksi dan pengumpulan data. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan, bahwa pada abad 21, mereka memiliki beberapa keterampilan yang meliputi 1) keterampilan belajar dan inovasi, 2) keterampilan dalam menggunakan teknologi dan media informasi dan 3) keterampilan hidup dan karir. Untuk dapat meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 pada siswa diperlukan suatu upaya yang dapat diterapkan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dan salah satu rekomendasi inovasi pembelajaran adalah melalui penerapan model project citizen. Project citizen adalah pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan berbasis portofolio, melalui model ini siswa tidak hanya diajak untuk memahami konsep dan prinsip ilmiah, tetapi juga mengembangkan kemampuannya untuk bekerja secara kooperatif, inovatif, kreatif, dan kritis melalui kegiatan pembelajaran praktik empiris (pengalaman). Dengan demikian, proses pembelajaran akan lebih menantang, aktif dan lebih bermakna.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia has actually become a special concern to see how equal access can be enjoyed by all levels of Indonesian society. In access to equity, what needs to be considered is equality of opportunity and justice in obtaining education. Efforts made by the government in realizing a quality and easily accessible education system by implementing the registration of New Student Admissions (PPDB). The implementation of New Student Admission in Denpasar City has been going very well and optimally organized. This can be seen from the making of a technical guideline as the operational basis for the school as the organizer and implementer of PPDB. The zoning line in PPDB has changed the caste of a school in society. This will certainly be able to realize the quality and quantity of our national education in a fair and equitable manner. In essence, education is the right of all children of the nation, guaranteed by the constitution and mandated in an ideal of the independence of the Indonesian nation, namely the intellectual life of the nation.
