Abstract

Shrimp farming with intensive system was causing many problems. The presence of disease problems in shrimp caused by bacteria, viruses, or co-infection was a problem that must be solved. The use of probiotics and biofloc was one way to overcome the existing diseases. In addition, the combination was expected to improve the performance of the shrimp immune system. This study aimed to evaluate the using of biofloc combined with probiotics against vannamei (Litopenaeus vannamei) immune system in the challenge test with V. parahaemolyticus. This research was conducted for 5 months. The treatments were the addition of commercial probiotics in the culture medium with biofloc system on the feed in the form of negative control (without probiotics + without biofloc) (1), positive control (biofloc culture medium and without probiotic adduction) (2), probiotics I + bioflok (3 ), probiotics II + biofloc (4), and probiotics III + bioflok (5). The results obtained for the performance performance of the shrimp immune system that the best in treatment 4 (probiotic II + biofloc) with SR yield of 76.67%, THC of 9.7 x 106 ml-1, and total bacterial count of 1.59 x 107. Keywords: Vannamei, Probiotics, Biofloc, Immune System.

Abstract

Abstrak: Budidaya ikan badut Amphiprion ocellaris terus dikembangkan hingga saat ini guna menghasilkan ikan badut yang memiliki pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup dan kecerahan warna yang baik. Salah satu permasalahan dalam budidaya ikan badut adalah harga pakan yang cukup tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh laju pemuasaan secara periodik terhadap pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup dan kecerahan warna ikan badut Amphiprion ocellaris. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri dari empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, yaitu P1 (tanpa pemuasaan), P2 (1 hari dipuasakan 1 hari diberi pakan), P3 (1 hari dipuasakan 2 hari diberi pakan), P4 (1 hari dipuasakan dan 3 hari diberi pakan) sehingga terdapat 12 unit total percobaan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji sidik ragam (One way Anova). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup dan kecerahan warna ikan badut yang mengalami laju pemuasaan secara periodik tidak berbeda nyata (p>0.05) dengan ikan badut yang tidak dipuasakan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ikan badut Amphiprion ocellaris dapat dipuasakan hingga periode 1 hari dipuasakan dan 1 hari diberi pakan yang mengalami total pemuasaan sebanyak 20 hari tanpa menurunkan pertumbuhannya. Pembudidaya ikan badut Amphiprion ocellaris direkomendasikan dapat menggunakan semua periode pemuasaan seperti yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini, namun untuk waktu pemuasaan yang lebih lama diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut oleh para peneliti.   Kata kunci: Pemuasaan, ikan badut, pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup, kecerahan warnaAbstract: Amphiprion ocellaris clown fish cultivation continues to be developed today to produce clown fish that have good survival growth and colour brightness.  This study aims to determine the effect of periodic fasting rates on growth, survival and colour brightness of the Amphiprion ocellaris clown fish. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design consisting of four treatments and three replications, namely P1 (without fasting), P2 (1 day fasted 1 day fed), P3 (1 day fasted 2 days fed), P4 (1 day fasted and 3 days fed) so that there are 12 total experimental units. The data obtained were analyzed using the one way Anova variance test. The results obtained were growth, survival and color brightness of clown fish that experienced periodic mastery rates were not significantly different (p> 0.05) from clown fish that were not fasted.This shows that the clown fish Amphiprion ocellaris can be fasted until a period of 1 day fasted and 1 day fed with a total mastery of 20 days without reducing growth. Amphiprion ocellaris clown fish farmers are recommended to be able to use all periods of mastery as applied in this study but for a longer mastery time further research is needed by esearchers.Keywords: Mastery, clown fish, growth, survival, colour brightness

Abstract

Catfish was one of the most popular consumption fish in Indonesia. Increasing the production of catfish farming by means of super intensive cultivation has a negative impact on the quality of the aquaculture environment which in turn can have an impact on fish health. Biofloc technology was an alternative that can be done to solve the problem of aquaculture waste. In fact, it could provide more benefits because besides being able to reduce inorganic nitrogen waste  also provide additional feed for cultured fish so that it can increase growth and feed efficiency. This study aims to evaluate the growth performance of catfish (Clariassp.) In biofloc-based super intensive cultivation with the addition of different commercial probiotics. This research will be conducted for 5 months. The research was conducted in an aquarium in the form of an aquarium measuring 90 × 40 × 50 cm filled with 100 L. The treatment given was the addition of commercial probiotics in the culture medium with the biofloc system and fermented pellet feed with various commercial probiotics, namely commercial probiotic I, commercial probiotic II. , commercial probiotic III, positive control (biofloc culture media and without the addition of commercial probiotics), and negative control (without biofloc). Each treatment was repeated three times. Specific data growth, survival (SR), feed conversion ratio (FCR) and quality were statistical analysis with one-way analysis of variance. The results showed that the best growth performance of catfish using the biofloc culture system produced in this study was shown in PK3 treatment with a survival rate of 93.33%, a specific growth rate of 6.60, and a feed conversion ratio of 0.92.

Abstract

Pengendalian penyakit pada ikan budidaya harus dilakukan sedini mungkin apabila sudah terlihat gejala-gejala ikan terserang penyakit khususnya penyakit bakterial akibat serangan bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila. Hal tersebut dilakukan agar tidak terjadi kematian massal pada ikan, kegagalan produksi dan kerugian ekonomi bagi para pembudidaya. Upaya pengendalian dapat dilakukan dengan pemakaian bahan kimia seperti antibiotik (oxytetracycline, oxolinic acid, erytromycin, streptomycin, dan kanamycin). Namun, penggunaan antibiotik sintetis yang terusmenerus dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi lingkungan perairan, resistensi patogen, dan residu antibiotik yang berdampak pada kesehatan konsumen dan pemasaran. Penggunaan bahan alami yang mempunyai senyawa antimikrobia seperti daun sirih (Piper betle L) diharapkan mampu menghambat quorum sensing Aeromonas hydrophila sebagai pengontrol virulensinya terhadap organisme lain dan dapat meningkatkan system kekebalan tubuh ikan budidaya. Selain itu, penggunaan bahan alami jauh lebih ramah lingkungan, murah, dan tidak bersifat karsinogen. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD) di desa Gontoran Kecamatan Lingsar Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Hasil kegiatan diharapkan berjalan lancar dan mampu mendorong masyarakat untuk dapat menangani dan mencegah penyebaran penyakit bakterial pada ikan nila dengan penggunaan bahan alami, sehingga penggunaan antibiotik sintesis dapat diminimalisir.Target luaran yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah kemampuan masyarakat dalam penanggulanangan penyakit ikan menggunakan bahan alami akan lebih meningkat dan penulisan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal pengabdian Abdi Insani Universitas Mataram.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the additional flour eucheuma spinosum on feed to the growth and survival of goldfish. Research carried out for 40 days in the Laboratorium basah, Program Studi Budidaya Perairan, Fakultas Pertanian, universitas mataram. The method used is the experimental random complete (RAL) which includes 4 treatments and 3 replacements, so the total of this experiment is 12 units. The treatment that research is the addition of different flour E. Spinosum in feed, consists of: P1: control (without additional flour E. Spinosum), P2: flour E. Spinosum 4 %, P3: flour E. Spinosum 8 %, P4: flour e. Spinosum 12 %. The results of this study indicate that the addition of flour E. spinosum feed has a significant effect on the growth of absolute, the specific growth rate and efficiency of feed, but does not affect conversion of feed and survival rate (SR). The addition of flour E. spinosum feed up to a dose of 4% can give an increase in absolute weight 4.79 g, absolute length 2.38 cm, specific growth rate (SGR) 2.62%, efficiency of feed 66.54% and feed conversion ratio (FCR) 1.47.Keywords: Eucheuma spinosum; Feed; Fish carp
