Abstract

The problem of this research is how to understand complex procedure text in first year students of high school of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung 2013/2014. The objective of this research is to describe the learning complex procedure text. This research method is qualitative descriptive by using technique of communication, observation, documentation, and triangulation in collecting the data. The scope of this research is teaching learning process between the teacher and the first year students of MIA 4 which consist of 31 students. The results showed that the learning plan has been aligned with indicators. Then for the implementation of learning, teacher and students have carried out 38 indicators of 40 existing indicators.The teacher assessment is to assess the process and assess the result. The conclusions of this research is learning of understand complex procedurce text in first year students of high school of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung is good.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pembelajaran memahami teks prosedur kompleks siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Pembelajaran Memahami Teks Prosedur Kompleks. Metode penelitiannya, deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan datanya. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah kegiatan pembelajaran antara guru bidang studi bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas X MIA 4 yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, perencanaan pembelajaran telah selaras dengan indikator yang ada. Selanjutnya pelaksanaan pembelajaran, guru dan siswa telah melaksanakan 38 indikator dari 40 indikator yang ada. Penilaian guru yaitu penilaian proses dan penilaian hasil. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran memahami teks prosedur kompleks siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung sudah baik.Kata kunci: pembelajaran, siswa, teks prosedur kompleks.

Abstract

Language is a system of symbols that is understood by all speakers of the language. A regional language is a language spoken in an area within a sovereign country, namely in a small area, federal state, province, or wider territory. The background to this research is the existence of various languages in the daily lives of students in the fourth (fourth) semester of the Mining Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Prabumulih University. Prabumulih University is located in one of the cities in southern Sumatra, namely the city of Prabumulih. This research aims to determine the language code mixing used by Mining Engineering students, Prabumulih University who use three languages, namely Palembang, Rambang, and Belida. And what factors influence the variety of languages in semester 4 (Four) students using sociolinguistic studies. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive techniques. The data source in this research is the variety of languages used by students in semester 4 (four) consisting of three classes. The data collection techniques used were interviews and direct observation. There are several instruments used in this research, including cameras, recording equipment, and interview guides. Based on the results of research by students in the 4th (fourth) semester of Mining Engineering, Prabumulih University uses one of the languages, namely regional languages, called regional languages (accent/dialeg). ABSTRAKBahasa adalah sistem lambang yang dipahami oleh semua penutur bahasa tersebut. Bahasa daerah adalah bahasa yang dituturkan di suatu wilayah dalam sebuah negara berdaulat, yaitu di suatu daerah kecil, negara bagian federal, provinsi, atau teritorial lebih luas. Yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini ialah adanya ragam bahasa dalam keseharian mahasiswa semester 4 (empat) Program Studi Teknik Pertambangan, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Prabumulih. Universitas Prabumulih berada disalah satu kota yang ada di Sumatera bagian selatan yaitu kota Prabumulih. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui campur code bahasa yang digunakan oleh mahasisa Teknik Pertambangan, universitas Prabumulih yang menggunakan tiga bahasa yaitu bahasa Palembang, bahasa Rambang, dan bahasa Belida. Dan faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi adanya ragam bahasa mahasiswa semester 4 (Empat) menggunakan kajian Sosiolinguistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu ragam bahasa yang digunakan mahasiswa semester 4 (empat) yang terdiri dari tiga kelas. Teknik pengambilan data yang dipakai yaitu wawancara dan observasi langsung. Ada beberapa instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya kamera, alat perekam, dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mahasiswa semester 4 (empat) Teknik Pertambangan, Universitas Prabumulih menggunakan salah satu bahasa yaitu bahasa daerah disebut bahasa daerah (logat/dialeg).

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) Find out the implementation of Audio Visual Learning media in an effort to increase student motivation and (2) Find out the implementation of Audio Visual Learning media in an effort to increase student learning achievement in BI subjects at YB Vocational School . The subjects of this research were class XI students. This type of research is included in PTK (Classroom Action Research). Observations were carried out to measure the implementation of BI learning using Audio Visual Learning media. Written tests are carried out to measure learning and student achievement. Questionnaires were given to determine student responses. As for data analysis techniques For instrument sheet observation And sheet questionnaire using formula percentage, For instrument Test questions use the percentage formula. Research result shows that applicability instructional Media Audio Visuals in BI learning can increase student motivation and learning achievement. This is based on the average percentage of student learning achievement in cycle I of 67.21 and the average student achievement in cycle II of 71.73. Apart from that, students gave a very positive response to the application of Audio Visual Learning media in BI learning . This is based on the percentage of questionnaire results of 95.65% of students responding very positively and 4.35% of students responding positively.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the learning styles of class IX students at SMP YB Prabumulih in Indonesian language subjects as well as determine the learning outcomes of class IX students and to determine the influence of learning styles on learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach using the correlation method. The subjects of this research were class IX students with a total of 30 students. The instruments used were learning style questionnaires and documentation. The research data collected was analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques with percentages, product moment correlation and simple regression analysis. The results of research regarding the influence of learning styles on the learning outcomes of class IX students in Indonesian language subjects are as follows: (1) The learning style of class IX students is predominantly visual learning style with a percentage of 50% with a total frequency of 15 out of 30 respondents, while the auditory and kinesthetic learning styles respectively are 26.6% with a total of 8 students and 23.3% with a total of 7 students. (2) There is no significant influence of learning style on the learning outcomes of class IX students in Indonesian language subjects. The implication of this research is that this research provides information for educators to apply learning methods that can accommodate students' learning methods, so that students are more active in participating in the learning process.

Abstract

Industri pertambangan batubara yang dioperasikan oleh PT Bakti Nugraha Yuda menghasilkan air asam tambang yang pengelolaannya menjadi krusial untuk mencegah pencemaran lingkungan. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah tingkat keasaman air limbah yang tinggi, dengan pH awal berkisar antara 4,3 hingga 5,1, yang berada di bawah baku mutu lingkungan pemerintah yang mensyaratkan pH di atas 6. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan kapur tohor (quicklime) sebagai agen penetral untuk mengelola air asam tambang di lokasi tersebut. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus dan eksperimen analisis dengan uji laboratorium jar test dan pengukuran pH secara berkala pada dua Kolam Pengendapan Lumpur (KPL 1 dan KPL 2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kapur tohor sangat efektif. Pemberian dosis antara 0,6 hingga 1 gram per liter berhasil meningkatkan pH air dari kondisi awal sekitar 4,5 menjadi dalam rentang 7 hingga 8,9, sesuai dengan standar mutu. Analisis regresi linear pada KPL 1 juga menunjukkan korelasi yang sangat kuat (R² = 0,9988) antara dosis yang diberikan dan kenaikan pH.

Abstract

The Keban Agung Power Plant is a Steam Power Plant located in Kebur Village, West Merapi District, Lahat Regency, which requires coal as its main fuel with quality that meets the standards of PLTU specifications to optimize the combustion process and reduce SO2 emissions. One of the most important coal quality parameters that need to be considered in coal suppliers to coal-fired power plants is sulfur content. Priamanaya Energi Coal Pit Coal seam A has a sulfur content of 0.16, seam B of 0.28, while seam C of 0.91 and 1.12. High sulfur levels cannot enter the coal-fired power plant because it can cause damage to the equipment such as rusting (corrosion). Therefore, this study aims to analyze the quality of seam coal A, B, and C used in coal blending activities to meet the sulfur content value of seam C coal in accordance with the specification standards of the Keban Agung PLTU which is at 0.1 to 0.5. Based on the 10 calculations of the coal quality blending test, it shows that blending with a composition of 8:1 with a tonnage of 2430 tons succeeded in reducing the sulfur content value of coal seam C to 0.31.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan efisiensi cycle time produksi pada kegiatan hauling menggunakan Dump Truck Shacman X3000 di PT. Kumala Bahtera Utama. Cycle time merupakan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan satu siklus kerja hauling, mulai dari proses pemuatan, pengangkutan, pembongkaran muatan, hingga kembali ke titik awal. Penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan, pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder, serta analisis perbandingan antara cycle time aktual dengan rencana perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata cycle time aktual mencapai 4 jam 59 menit, lebih tinggi dari rencana 4 jam per siklus. Rata-rata produktivitas aktual sebesar 8,65 ton/jam, berada di bawah target 13,25 ton/jam. Ketidakefisienan disebabkan oleh antrean saat pemuatan dan pembongkaran, waktu tunggu (waiting time), serta lost time seperti waktu istirahat dan pemeriksaan unit. Upaya perbaikan yang direkomendasikan meliputi pengaturan ulang jadwal rotasi unit, penerapan sistem antrean digital, optimalisasi layout jalur hauling, serta pemanfaatan teknologi GPS dan sistem monitoring waktu secara real-time. Simulasi tanpa hambatan menunjukkan potensi produktivitas hingga 20 ton/jam. Hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan waktu operasional untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan pencapaian target produksi.
